Worse than ever. Staff rude Food ok Place filthy Empty of customers Now I know why Have eaten many times here but that’s the last time.

The restaurant is dirty and the service is terrible. Just because it’s kosher doesn’t mean it has to be so bad. The food is average at best. Shame!

this restaurant is really good for a quick supper out and our family really enjoyed the food and atmosphere [but the service is not great] but all together i really recommend for a good supper out

Extremely disappointing. No customer service, mediocre food is not served hot and is over-priced. Presented in single-use plastic containers and cutlery so poor quality that it split when we ate. What a pity as this used to be a reasonable place to eat in the evening.

I actually like the food from here and the guys who cook it are generally nice, however the women working on the till with zero skill has to be the most bad mannered person Iv ever had the wdispleasure of meeting. Have eaten here a few times over the years. The food is always good and the atmosphere lively and local. Only concern is that the organisation is a little chaotic - for example staff can be a little relaxed in their work ethic (slow service and old plates tend to be left unattended) and there is too much high level dust gathering. Five people at work most recent visit, one sat down and another simply preparing his cigarette, the pair of them having an amusing chat, about the customers by the looks of it. (On a previous visit I recall a member of staff having a smoke just inside the rear door). Food today was served through a hatch next to a discarded bowl of soup. All these observations probably explains the 4* food hygiene rating. Owners advised to get a grip - if they read this review please receive it as constructive observation and not an attempt to knock you down.

Stumbled upon this great bakery/cafe on way out of Manchester to M60. When you establish how and what to order the food is outstanding. Shaslik in pitta bread with loads of fillings was cooked fresh to order. It was A1 delicious. Trouble is I don’t have reason to go to Manchester too often!

Standards really slipping, awful service, mediocre food at best, wrong order fulfilled. Not a pleasant experience. Has peaked and now spiralling decline. Won't return anytime soon.

No one in sun but took ages to complete a pargiot laffe and a habibi burger. Burger was overcooked and dry and there was not a lot of lamb (it cost £14.99 quite a hefty price for lack lustre experience!) the laffe was ok. I feel the attention to quality is dropping the customer service has always been questionable at best but food used to be worth it, not not so sure I think Taam needed to care s not more about their customers experiences and up their game.

Had about 5 takeaways from here and its never right, always arrives 30 mins late, tepid/cold, missing items. The owner doesnt care.. shame because the food is tasty but really awful service..

It was just me and a friend in there for lunch. No other customers! The WC was dirty, service was friendly. The chicken tikka and salad was tasty. The tummy pains and diarrhoea are unreal. How old was the chicken? Never again for me in that place.

The welcome was warm and the food was faultless and plentiful. Excellent service and generous portions. We'll be back when we next visit family in Manchester. Highly recommend Ta'am if you want the best ever shawarma.

Not sure if I can review if I didn’t eat BUT….planned a family meal at 1330 Sunday Oct 22. Went in to be told by owner that it was actually closed due to it not bring clean enough or something of that sort. But he was just sitting there with two other men and wasn’t really apologetic or bothered. They seemed be open an hour later so why he couldn’t he gave just said come back later? Took my custom elsewhere

Thought we would have treat this lunchtime haven't had take out from taams for some time. Sorry I did as was left felt very let down. I had a pergiyot in lafe and they had two pitta pergiyot kids meals. I asked for two salads on mine and one for the kids each. I keep kosher so the choice is limited although improving Inn this area. They forgot one of mine completely and gave me a half portion of a the other and very few pergiyot in my large (had before and nowhere near the same) the kids meals asked for one salad that was missed completely and no straws for their drinks and it came to over £34 with a portion of chips(half size of normal) for £4 taking the complete Michael. I won't go back in hurry they have too much competition now to serve meals like this. You have fallen in standard Taam maybe you should concentrate on quality of food and service instead of how many businesses you can have now you are expanding?

Dear Reader... Terrible and VERY rude service. My meal was not as ordered and they could not have cared less. They literally didn’t put in the meal what was ordered...The basic attitude is take it or leave it. So I took it as I’d paid for it. The food had been sitting around for 15minutes and they never notified me it was ready for collection on the order App. Happy to take the money on the App but not let you know your food is ready. Also Taam’s hygiene levels re dubious at best. If you want tasty cold (should be hot)kosher food and to be insulted on collection this is the place for you. If not just wait until you got to Jerusalem and go to Grill Bar!
