Frankie and Benny's in Manchester

When we entered the restaurant we were warned that they were short staffed and there may be a slightly longer wait than usual. This was not the case. We were shown to a table by a friendly gentleman. He has asked if either of us had any allergies, I replied yes. He then showed me how to use an tablet which took my allergies into account and showed me a tailor made menu with food that was safe for me to eat. Our waitress that evening was called Leigh, she was absolutely wonderful. Even though she was clearly very busy as there were only a few staff members, she always had a smile on her face and was happy to help. She informed me of all the measures she was taking regarding my allergy, even making sure she washed her hands again just before bringing my dish to the table. She was friendly and helpful all throughout our visit, a real credit to the team. I will definitely be returning. Very happy with service and quality.

My family and I have visited F&B's Didsbury regularly for a while now. In fact it's been years! Their deals are always fab. I've never had a bad tasting meal here and if there's ever been any problems the staff have gone out of their way to rectify it. I'd say the best thing about this place is the staff. They recognise us when we visit so our time there feels personalised and they are keen to keep us as loyal customers, which is fine by us! They're very accommodating if we want to make any additional requests with our food orders and they cater very well for vegans. It's nice to go see familiar faces when we go in and there's no doubt that my family will keep visiting here. Keep up the good work!

Good meal, from the 2 for £11.99 meal deal. Great value for money. Served by Leigh- very efficient and friendly. The mushroom Alfredo was particularly delicious. Good place to go before or after the cinema.

Frankie and bennys was a great option after the cinema with 2 x 9 year olds ! Good kids options and cater for those with small appetites ! Fast and friendly service from Leigh , who was v helpful and attentive . Kids happy, I’m happy!

Pasta is a bit watery and wasn't as good as other places I've been. Staff are very friendly and helpful through.

We had a great evening, arrived as a group of about 20 people and we were accommodated well and within a reasonable time. The staff who served us were incredibly attentive and friendly and our waitperson Leigh was absolutely brilliant, she looked after us so well. The food was brilliant and the wide range of different things made sure we all could find something to enjoy.

Always go to frankies and bennys for the cheap food but lastnight was just a complete different experience to normal. The waitress Shinice had been lovely and provided us with a really lovely night! I hope to see her next time I come. I’m sure it will be a lot sooner than planned!

Impromptu visit after an evening at the neighbouring 10 pin bowling alley - we were found a table on a Friday night at short notice for 13 of us and received excellent service. Drinks and food all good - we had experienced a very poor experience about 3 years ago but this time it was spot on. Pizzas and burgers (mine was black and blue!) were great and we didn’t have to wait at all.Lucy our server was faultless and looked after us very well.A good night!

Fantastic service by Lucy - she was very efficient and attentive, especially for a big group. Only had to look once and she was over like a shot! Food all came together too.

Visited a couple of weeks ago. Not been for ages as kinda overdid it on coming here. But my friend wanted to go so gave it another go. Prompt service, we had a friendly waiter called Joe who was very attentive. Something went wrong with our pizza so they made another and put loads of stuffing in the calzone! Mine was good too. Cocktails were nice, overall a good experience. :)

We arrived with a 20-30 minute wait which was fine. And greeted by a friendly man who looked like the manager. We sat at the bar and then were sat down at the table after about 20 minutes. We ordered, however my friend who has a nut allergy was asked to check the food on the iPad (understandable) however a simple carbonara or bolognase was not included and when she asked. They said it was due to cross contamination, she then followed saying if it’s just from factory’s that’s fine but do the ingredients contain nuts, they didn’t know and I’m guessing neither did the chefs. It was confusing and unnerving.Our started arrived 25-30 minutes later, the garlic butter didn’t contain garlic and the dough balls were quite doughy. We then waited another 25 minutes for our mains. One of the forks I don’t think had been changed from the person sat before us. The burger was watery and cold. And the 2 pizzas were shop bought oven standard and were cold. The lady at the bar was lovely and the staff were pleasant however the wait and the food were awful and we will not be returning.

We had our team Christmas brunch here and it was lovely. We were seated straightaway and served immediately. Service, staff and food was all excellent.

Went in there with my family with some vouchers unfortunatly they had expired something i found out whilst trying to pay. The staff were very accommodating and allowed me the 33 percent off still. My server was Lewis he was very polite and extremely helpful and friendly with me and my family. He made sure my food and drink was served very quickly and all was correct. Fantastic member of staff. Definitely would recommend to everyone. I go here quite often due to have numerous food allergies and not only is this restaurant relaxing and comfortable it also caters for my allergy needs with a fantastic set menu for my needs. Worth a trip to it.

Me and my 3 friends waited at the bar for about 15 minutes to be served on a Saturday night and we’re completely ignored by the person behind the bar as she was obviously too busy rearranging the wine bottles in the fridge. It was obvious that she knew we were waiting but continued to carry on ignoring us anyway. Walked out in the end and won’t be going back! Tragic service!

We were a party of 8 visiting on NewYears Eve, the restaurant was extremely busy however the service was excellent! The manager even managed to seat us altogether after us initially thinking we would need to be split. Lewis in particular worked extremely hard to ensure that were served quickly.The food was good, service was excellent and the atmosphere was great.

Took the children for evening meal before the highlight of the year for us, the new star star wars movie yay. Was worried we would have to wait ages as restaurant was packed.Nope, were seated and orders taken in less than 10 mins. Couldnt believe how fast the staff were moving around, and still had time to check all was ok.My waiters Lily and Lewis, hope i get those two next time, fantastic.Food was out of this world too, always is in my opinion, but top notch this time.Whoever was running things thursday 19th dec, pat on back for you.Cant wait to return for more of same

I always love coming to the didsbury restaurant as it’s always great service and good food. Our waiter last night was called fabico and she couldn’t of been better if she tried. Dined at lunchtime and enjoyed the food, however, the service was a little slow. They may have been understaffed. Only one server possibly the manager. Quite a delay after the main meals for the desserts

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have popped in on the off chance and nothing is too much trouble ! Lucy and her team run an impeccable service from seating to drinks then food !! I have been to this Frankie and Benny's a few times and never got round to writing a review but the service and food has always been really good here. On my most recent visit, we were looked after by Joe, who was friendly and efficient. I was waiting on a family member who had been delayed by almost an hour but Joe made me feel very welcome and relaxed. Food was fresh and tasty and I would be happy to recommend this venue.

Took my 10 year old daughter and 5 friends to celebrate her Birthday. Leigh served us and was brilliant. Patient with all the kids and even went above and beyond sorting out and serving the cake id arranged. Kids menus are great value and all the children enjoyed their food.

Came down from Stoke-on-Trent with my boyfriend to visit my bestie and decided to go to the Frankie and benny’s we always went to when I lived up here. Absolutely amazing service from Leigh, I’m so fussy it’s unreal, and she was a star. My hotdog came with onions on it, I was alright to just scrape them off and power through but my girl Leigh was my saviour, girl got me another one without even batting an eyelid and she even apologised for the onions being on the hotdog in the first place. Girl yes. Hope you win this thing cause you went above and beyond with us.

food was pleasant and the staff where extremely nice, along with the chips, however you cannot beat a Parrs wood high school chicken burger.

The only one good thing I can say was the waiter was lovely. He couldn’t do enough. The food was disappointing, it was very bland. Didn’t release you could have a bad margarita! It was floppy and undercooked. The chicken strippers were very bland and over cooked. Would definitely not go back! Whoever cooked it needs firing

Do not recommend, staff extremely miserable— The waitress literally threw drink onto table after waiting for ages for the ‘refill’ drink, pointless concept.Then to find out that all the deals aren’t included after the waitress said it would be, totally unacceptable!! The food was very basic and slightly cold, charged an extra £2.99 for a few grains of vegan cheese. Total atmosphere very childish and staff not friendly, made us feel very unwanted. The food also took over an hour to come, to be served a pure disappointment. If you want to come to a childish basic food diner then this is your place! Totally not worth it and over priced.

From entering the restaurant the staff were attentive and quick to seat us. I had a query regarding a voucher, Simon the manager was fabulous explained everything and was extremely helpful whatever our requests were. What a well run restaurant with a great manager.

Me and my friends always eat at the didsbury F&B always great service. We got served by Owen he is amazing, as soon as we walked in and said table for three, he asked straight away if any of us had any type of allergies, I have a Lactose allergy and he helped me with the special menu and explained what was avaliable and explained that the manager would bring my food and check that it was lactose free.. my meal was perfect, my friends also really liked their meals, always full once we've eaten there. Owen was very friendly, made us laugh, on top of everything making sure everything is ok for us and if we are happy with service. We would highly recommend Owen for his customer service!

Great experience, great food, lovely staff, we were mostly served by Owen, and although there wasn’t only like 5 staff in the restaurant while it was fairly busy everything was of a great quality with perfectly fine wait times

Took my son here for lunch for an end of summer treat. There was only one waitress and one chef working. Granted the restaurant wasn’t busy but it did make for a long lunch (2 hours & 15 minutes long). We weren’t in a hurry thankfully. All the food was nice but the gluten free carbonara was a much smaller portion then my son’s normal pasta dish which I find annoying! I’d prefer to pay a bit more for a proper portion than a normal price for a tiny portion (I have put on a photo of the two pasta dishes together to show the difference). The meal was nice but didn’t leave me going wow!

Booked for a Friday night, arrived early but place wasn’t very busy so we were seated. 20 mins later still no drink order taken, staff didn’t seem interested. In the end I went to the bar and ordered our own drink. Returned still no order taken. After 30 mins I asked a waiter if we could order. Food took a long time to come and although the food was there waiting to be given out the waiters didn’t seem bothered. It was not even overly busy so would hate to have been here on a busy day. When we had finished there was no mention of desserts, everything we had to ask for. Only minor too, but the gin said it would come with strawberry’s and it didnt, which for the price I wouldExpect. Food was okay but nothing special. I wouldn’t return.

La comida era buena pero el servicio no era bueno, en absoluto. Solo había una chica sirviendo y se llenó. Ella se apresuró a levantarse, sugiero que consigas más camareras, para los momentos ocupados. En general, disfrutamos nuestro almuerzo pero no el servicio.

Went here on a Tuesday evening, it wasn't busy and so we were seated right away and served quickly. Owen, our server was fantastic and attended to us for our entire meal. He was polite and friendly and made our evening very enjoyable.

Came here for our meal whilst we were having a night away on Manchester, We ordered our drinks which came straight away and we ordered the food and within 15 minutes it was on our tables ready to be eaten! The staff were very polite and friendly and i would definitely visit this Frankie and Bennies again and it is probably the best one i’ve been to

I'm sorry I'd love to give a raving review as I love Frankie and bennys but today service was not good at all. Kids milkshake tasted off after they finally arrived and food was mixed up. My salad was delicious as always and kids food was hot and tasty. Service staff were lovely but seemed to struggle as she was on her own to serve, clean, welcome guests and get cheques. I'm sorry but I won't be coming here again, one in Stockport is much more professional and more well staffed

amazing customer service from our waiter owen, had a laugh and was a great guy all round. had a great time and all meals were served in good time with reasonable check ups for things like drink refills. very kind staff which made the visit a lot more enjoyable.at the end of the meal my little sister shouted it was my birthday and owen came back with some other staff and a birthday brownie and they sang happy birthday to me! great time!!only down side is that we all ate too much seeing as the food is so good!!

We visited here on Wednesday after visiting the Cinema. The food was decent. Burger portion was very small for the price! Spaghetti Bolognese was average. Our server Leigh was so sweet and kind!😋. Would go back but would order different food instead.
