Lovely food which is really good value for money with affordable prices. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.

Terrible experience here this morning. Lady/waitress had an extremely rude manner and was not accommodating or happy to have two children in at all. Iced coffee provided was the worst I have ever had, and the two babychinos ordered were scalding and over priced. Extremely disappointing and shall not be returning.

The food was terrible Large breakfast more like a small breakfast. Prices not good for what you get tasted like it was walm ups from yesterday and snide sauce is horrible get some hp

Wonderful food and friendly staff. I'm a bit of a picky eater at times but I cleared my plate, as did my family that I was there with. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. The staff are brilliant and asked how we were enjoying everything. I will definitely be back. Less then £30 for 3 delicious meals and drinks.

I can’t believe I have lived in Reddish for so long and not discovered this fantastic cafe until now. The staff are so warm and welcoming - creating a really lovely and positive atmosphere. The food is really well priced and very good quality. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch (tuna melt) and have come back to try out their breakfasts.

Have visited Sykes a few times recently and always welcoming staff. Great Coffee and the breakfasts are hearty and very tasty. Please visit when passing by as businesses need customers and it is certainly worth a visit

First time visiting this place but unfortunately I would avoid especially vegans/veggies and people with allergies. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast without egg and it arrived with a fried egg on it and a slice of bacon?! I don’t think I’ve ever experienced ordering a vegetarian option and receiving meat on the plate😬 we weren’t asked how our food was so I put the bacon on my partners plate and ate bits that I could. Very expensive for what it is.

Nothing to shout home about, coffee was OK, food average. If you are just in need of a quick snack and not to concerned about above average prices, then this may be OK for you

Staff are lovely, get table service and the food is lovely all freshly made black pegs breakfast was really nice.

I've been here a few times with my husband. The service is always friendly, it's very clean and bright inside and there is always a nice atmosphere in this café. Today I had a cheese and mushroom omelette with toast. It was delicious. My husband had the black pegs, which he really enjoyed. I'd definitely recommend.

Very friendly welcome to this perfectly located cafe. I had breakfast which was extremely good. There is a very friendly atmosphere amongst the other customers and the repartee with the staff is good to see. I would recommend Sykes to all

I have been coming here for quite a long time and have always enjoyed what I had to eat and drink......this is definitely worth more visits on a regular basis and its local to Stockport.

Great spot for breakfast/lunch with lovely home cooked food. The Stilton and Broccoli soup was one of the best we’ve ever had. Service is friendly and attentive and we will be back.

I moved to the area 2 years ago. Sykes are right next door to my local barbers...but so are many other cafes. That being the case, competition is high, and quality needs to stand out. In this area, Skykes deliver. I asked for the big breakfast, to find sausages on my plate I'd never seen before 😳👀... and as sausages go, these don't just talk the talk.. they pork the pork! Goddamn best sausages I've had since I bought some fresh from a farm 3 months ago. AND, I even ate the mushrooms.... I dont like mushrooms. So what does that tell you? So yeah, great food. Not greasy either (a huge deal for me), and good coffee. 👍 Lastly, service. I had my food within 7 minutes. That's all you need to know. Super fast service. Fantastic food. Nice seating, bright and vibrant, super polite and friendly staff, and top notch bangers👍 I recommend giving this place visit. 9/10. I'll definitely be coming again... so... ...see you there?

One thing you are gauranteed at Sykes is excellent food to enjoy and eat, rioght down to the last mouthfull......it is the sort of place you will go back for more - again,again and again.

We ate there earlier this week. The food was reasonably priced with a decent portion size, well cooked,and the staff were helpful and friendly. One concern is that in the current circumstances the servers should be wearing masks when serving tables and contact details should be taken.

Brilliant high quality food, very rustic looking cafe very Chorlton! Lovely food service and value, bacon and egg, sausage really good quality, probably the best cafe in Stockport.

We came here for brunch and had a lovely tasty, freshly cooked meal. The presentation was very nice. The price was very reasonable and the environment very pleasant. Well worth a visit - a shame that the evening bistro is not up and running yet as they are looking for a chef but during the day the cafe is great.

This has changed hands but the service remains good. There is a nice menu of snacks and the staff are very pleasant. The prices are very reasonable. There are papers to read and no one rushes you. It is a nice place to meet friends and have a coffee and a snack. To be recommended.

Good food to eat with a lovely atmosphere and pleasant surroundings.....the staff are always helpful with advice if needed. Also nice for afternoon tea ---- highly recommended

Always offer a varied menu of lovely cooked food at reasonable prices. Less than £2.00 for a Illy cappuccino to take away is exceptional value and marry it up with a bacon butty and there is no better way to start the day. Lovely clean cafe with very friendly staff and plenty of papers to read.

Whenever I go to the coffee bar - either for breakfast or lunch, I am never disappointed with the food or drink. They also do afternoon tea from 12 till 3 pm, ask for the menu to choose from, well worth a return visit.

Staff who seem like they don’t want to be there and dirty tables when it wasn’t busy. Ok, enough moaning. The coffee was good

Tuve un brunch / desayuno aquí la semana pasada con mi hermano y fue genial. Queríamos algo sin pretensiones y aún así ser bien hecho. Guau mi hermano tenía el gran desayuno todo el día y no podía comer todo, era encantador, delicioso y fresco, excelente relación calidad-precio. Estoy haciendo todo lo posible para estar sano y pedí la ensalada Ceaser. Sin duda el mejor que he tenido y no lo digo a la ligera.Si hubo un ligero inconveniente, pedimos 3 ollas de té y seguían llegando no llenas. Esto fue menor, sin embargo estoy tratando de dar una crítica honesta.El propietario es encantador y es un apasionado de la comida, la calidad y el servicio. Esto fue genial de escuchar, detecté que con un poco más de confianza para expandir el menú, este lugar podría clasificarse fácilmente con el mejor. Una licencia de licor también llevaría este lugar al siguiente nivel.Este es un gran lugar y está esperando para despegar.

El té de la tarde del Sykes Coffee Bar: tiene que hacer una reserva por teléfono o en la cafetería. . . . . . . . se le dará la opción de lo que quiere tener.Esto facilita mucho las cosas cuando llega para el té de la tarde, ya que el pedido se ha tomado y se lo traerán mucho antes. . . . . . . . una excelente elección en mi opinión.Muy recomendable

This is a wonderful little cafe/coffee bar in the heart of Reddish. It serves very good quality food with superb breakfasts, lovely jacket potatoes and now they are starting to serve afternoon teas with proper china cups. Prices are extremely reasonable.

I have been before on many occasions and the service is excellent as well.

This was a first time visit to this cafe and it certainly won't be the last. It was very crowded with mum's and children when I arrived with my friend for lunch, being the school half term. However despite being very busy the staff coped extremely well, giving everyone their attention. They have a comprehensive menu, from snacks and breakfast menu to cooked lunch and even 'posh' afternoon teas. We had a BLT on toast and it was delicious - and there was plenty of bacon in it. The latte coffee was the best I've had for ages and the bill was extremely reasonable. The ladies who run it are so nice, very chatty, nothing is too much trouble and you can tell they take a real pride in their business. They even do afternoon teas and high teas with all trimmings served on proper cake tiers. Although the surroundings are not what you would call salubrious they are clean, comfortable and welcoming and there is even a little corner with an easy chair and settee to relax in. All in all a very successful first visit and needless to say we shall be going back again soon.

The Bistro at the Coffee Bar, is very well attended but you must book a table to make sure you have place to enjoy the variety of food they provide.

I was invited to a friend's birthday here and really wasn't expecting such a great meal. In fact, I didn't even know it was a bistro during some evenings. I had three dishes for £10, all of which were beautiful. Plenty of choice and great quality ingredients. I can't wait to go back. Would most definitely recommend

The bistro is open thursdsay friday and saturday, from 6 pm till 9 pm........The food is prepared to how you want it and you are not disappointed when you get it.

Very nice evening at Sykes, staff friendly and welcoming. Food freshly made and delicious. Had the small plates (£10 for 3 plates) good selection too chose from. Can bring your own wine and beer and they do not charge corkage.

Visited this place for the first time last weekend. In the evening it's a Bistro and the staff were ever so friendly and the food is out of this world. The options are very varied and there is something for everyone. The small dishes are delicious and the mains do not disappoint, in fact we even had deserts. Really recommend this place and it's currently bring your own booze too. We loved it that much we went back Sunday for our breaky which was also fab. Cheers all at Sykes Coffee bar.

This has opened up as a Bistro now on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and it is well worth a visit. The menu has small tapas type plates or a choice of 3 main meals. We had fish and chips and the rib eye steaks.

I am an old bloke, a bit shaky sometimes and new to the area. First visit was for a Moccha. Excellent coffee! Next time in, they knew that I wanted a Moccha but not in a poncy glass cup. They gave me a mug of Moccha. Sausage sandwich went down a treat as did the cheeses an onion toastie, a couple of days later. Nice, Northern people who have the warmth of the Northerners I knew, as a kid in Bury.

Great new small plates, steaks, fresh fish! Nice and clean inside, great service, excellent food for the whole family

We normally go to a different cafe in reddish for breakfast on a Saturday morning . I have a healthy breakfast consisting of poached egg, veggie sausage lean bacon , tomotoes, mushroom and beans with a coffee . It was shut Easter Saturday so we went into this cafe. Service was poor and the wait was over 1/2 hour. I ordered bacon instead of sausage, egg beans . The egg and beans were cold and I thought it was expensive for what we had. We shall not be going again.

I used to visit quite often and take business colleagues there too it then suddely closed for 6 months without any warning

An extremely pleasant and friendly cafe the food was absolutely beautiful, I had the breakfast bacon and egg barm and the coffee is excellent and extremely good value for money, the place is spotlessly clean and I would recommend it to anyone.

The food is always good to eat, whatever time of the day you go in there.

Undercooked mushroom and black pudding and hash brown to topped it up with some dry toast unfortunately it all came back up 😪

Popped in on Sunday morning, there were 4 people in our party, 2 ordered breakfast first, then I ordered straight after them, the first to breakfasts came after about 30 minutes, then the other 2 took an hour to arrive, I have no idea how it took an hour to cook 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 1 egg and beans, and when it did arrive the beans were stone cold, and the hash brown looked like it wasn't cooked, we won't be going back there, the lady taking the orders was lovely

Waited ages for a bacon butty, the coffee is good but the food isn't up to scratch I'm afraid, the cakes looked like they had been there a while too, friendly service, but it felt a bit like it was being ran by dinner ladies

The food is very good and also the staff are very friendly, you can have a meal inside the coffee bar or a takeaway. Always worth going back again, again and again.

Such a shame that the food is very good, however for the second time in as many visits I've had to ask for our drinks.

Reddish has a couple of "greasy spoon" cafes and Sykes really is a breath of fresh air from these other places. ! It serves proper coffee not instant and they do really nice breakfasts , snacks and lunches. Its not the cheapest place in town but in my opinion the best.

As a new resident of Reddish, I have had the privilege of eating in this establishment and I can only say that this cafe is a real gem and between well prepared food and drink and helpful staff, you will never be disappointed with this establishment.

I visit here for breakfast at least once a week. There is always a warm welcome and the breakfasts are freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients - this is no greasy spoon! The place is always spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a nice place to have a drink and something to eat if you are out and about in Reddish doing your shopping. The quality of the food is very good with an excellent range of snacks and meals at very good prices. I would thoroughly recommend it if you want a break and a chat with friends in a cosy environment.

I have visited here several times over the past couple of years! The staff are friendly and the coffee and cakes are great and reasonably priced! The cappachino is very tasty but a little on the small side but great non the less! Thank you x

The breakfasts are delicious. Like most cafes they offer free tea and coffee but Sykes also serves Illy coffee with the breakfast including lattes and cappuccinos at no extra cost! Much better than my local cafes which also serve Illy at extortionate prices. The food tasted great. The staff are lovely and welcoming, I go all the time now

Looks nice and clean, nice range of lunchtime snacks and meals. Seems a good place for mums to meet with children and buggies etc. pleasant staff. I'd go here again.
