Cafe SQ in Stockport

Came for lunch with a group of send learners. The staff were so friendly and patient. The food was delicious and came out fast. Staff were fantastic. Will definitely be returning.

Attended an event outside the cafe ..wanted food but decided the cafe would be a safer option than an over priced burger van. How mistaken was I undercooked food and rude staff.

New to the area we spotted a little cafe and arrived around 16:10. On presenting at the counter we were not made aware the cafe shut at 16:30 and were allowed to order some food and drinks. Gone 16:20 we received our food and the counter staff left. We were left with the manager/owner who was extremely rude. It was not our fault we were allowed to order at this time , they should of warned us we only had 5 minutes to eat our food considering we had our 2yr old toddler with us. The guy turned all the lights and music off , locked the front door and stood with his coat on. We rushed our food and on departure he did not have the decency to apologise or even say BYE. So rude ! I have never felt so uncomfortable eating out! Will not be returning!

Visited with a hen party and was made to feel extremely looked after and accomodated for , all the party's dietary requirements were looked after amazingly and the friendly atmosphere as well as beautiful decor inside made it a memorable part of the trip, the food was also delicious with generous portion sizes !

Cafe SQ feels like a hidden gem in Stockport. The friendly staff are a credit to the place and really help it stand out from the chain owned cafes. No Luke warm coffees here, they're hot so you can take your time and savour them over a chat. The food is incredible and very reasonably priced, it's started to become our go to spot for a weekend treat. Always seems to be tables available and never over crowded. Genuinely love this place, it's changed hands since I first started visiting a few years back but has certainly retained both it's quality and charm.

Popped in with friends for tea/coffee cake. Lovely cafe, friendly service, delicious cakes, not expensive. And tea that pours from the teapot without leaking everywhere!! It was so good we stayed for seconds and had the most amazing hot chocolate. Can't wait to go back!

I was really happy with the quality of ingredients of the fry up, for a pretty decent price. My toddler had a toastie and it was massive. Coffee is decent and service was pretty quick despite being a bit busy

I called into cafesq for lunch. I have to eat gluten free . The lovely friendly staff were very helpful and I decided on a simple cheese salad sandwich. I'm not keen on gluten free bread, but it was delicious 😋 So was the gf brownie ❤ Definitely recommend and will be back many times, I'm sure x.

My friend and I have started calling in after our Friday Gym and swim. The staff are lovely, warm and welcoming and dependant on the weather there is a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The menu choice is varied, freshly prepared and tastes delicious. We will definitely be calling again and definitely will be recommending to friends looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat !

Always lovely food. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They will remake drinks if they're not quite right! We go most weeks as it's also a lovely place (tall ceilings, nice features.)

Such a lovely up and coming Cafe. Perfect place to have a drink after a hard of shopping. The outdoor seating is great and is in the perfect location. The food is all fresh and is to the highest of standard.

Amazing! The staff are friendly and welcoming the food is spot on and it’s dog friendly! My only criticism was the coffee wasn’t quite strong enough even with an extra shot, however next time I’ll just ask for 2/3 extra (I like my coffee strong lol) thanks again for an awesome lunch! XXX

Very friendly cafe not far from Stockport town centre. Very nice coffee and a large variety of teas. Delicious bacon sandwiches. Welcomed our dog with a bowl of water, and a freshly cooked sausage. Will definitely be back.

Richard and Josh have alwaysade me welcome with a lovely environment first rate coffee or tea and food of better than the average. Definitely out of the ordinary and worth out of your way to visit you won't be disappointed!!
