Syd's Chippy 'N' Grill in Bolton - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

£30 for a set meal for 2. One being a curry. Even asked them in the comments to give a naan with it. What are people supposed to eat the curry with? Will not be buying food from these jokers again

Ordered from here off an app and they sent something completely different so I rang and they still tried to justify why they sent the wrong thing and then asked what I would like then to do I said I want the correct food sent and I will give them the food they got wrong, when the food got re sent and my daughter was eating her food she saw something metal in it like off a scoured and a 2 small green pieces of plastic, she had to throw the food will never order from here again and I suggest who ever orders from here should check all their food so you do r eat something that’s dangerous and not supposed to be in there

Ordered food at 18:30 , still wasn’t here at 19:45 , rang and the man said the delivery is on the way . It’s 20:21 and still no food , rang up and he said it’s on the way and I said that I was told this 35 mins ago and I said I only live 10 mins away . He then put the phone down on me . Do not order from here

Last night i ordered food for the 2 of us, placed an order over the phone they said it would arrive within 30/40 mins, waited an hour and still didn’t come. I phoned up to ask where it was they said it was on its way, then 20 mins it still didn’t arrive. An hour & half later it came, i brought it into the kitchen to dish it all out to then realise that my pizza meal that i ordered wasn’t there, the chips and the drink came but no pizza was there. The driver had knocked on the door to give the change back and i asked him where’s my pizza, he said that it had got cancelled out of the order which it didn’t because he showed the receipt and it had the pizza on there still. He then tried to walk back to his car with the change he owes me for not having the pizza the driver was so rude , he tried to ignore me when i shouted i want my money back. But he eventually came back to the door with the change. I then phoned up the place and asked where my pizza was, they then used the excuse that their service was “busy” i had no apologies no nothing, They then went onto saying if they send me the pizza i ordered in the first place and asked numerous times if i was going to pay it. I told them i don’t want it no more as my partners meal came perfect and he would’ve finished eating his by the time my pizza came. To use the fact their service were “busy” but didn’t forget to put my chips and drink in is absolutely shocking and a very bad excuse to use. They were so horrendously rude! I put the phone down and they rang back up to ask if i wanted the pizza again, i then said no then they randomly just put the phone down. An hour later the same driver turned up at my house with the pizza i wanted, i refused to take it at first because i thought he was going to charge me, he then said it was for free so i took it. To then open the box and my pizza was stone cold, i didn’t expect anything less but what a waste of my time. I will never order from this place ever again, nothing but rudeness!

We often eat from this takeaway and it never disappoints. Nice fried chicken, pizzas, chicken burgers, curries, kebabs! A firm favourite in our family.

Very greasy and poor tasting pizza. I would definitely avoid this place again & delivery was certainly not quick. The only redeeming feature was the driver was pleasant.

Delivered on time, food hot Glad I ordered large (£1 extra) Salad (50p extra) consisted of a bit of shredded lettuce - very disappointing. Otherwise the kebab meat was fine Been a Bolton resident 6 months, the search for a good kebab in Bolton goes on

Pizza and garlic bread take away from Syds as we were just back from holiday and had no food in the fridge. I would genuinely rather bite off and eat my own fingers before ordering from here again. Horrendously flavourless and not worthy of your hard earned money.

I do not recommended this place as the service was rude and I rang up twice and they hung up on me . The chips were also extremely stale and tasted extremely old the food was tasteless and the pizza was cold even though I picked it up after 15mins it really dident seem Freshly baked . Messed our order up and refused to bring a replacement or give our money back now got to wait another 45 minutes for another order from another takeaway his attitude was it wasn’t his fault would never order from these again

I've ordered from here to my work twice in the past week via JustEat. The Food has always arrived early, been warm & has been exactly what we ordered. On top of that, it's all fresh & tastes so good! Delivery guy is also lovely, Syd's is going to be our go to place for Food now! :)

The best takeaway in Bolton. I would recommend for anything, From the chips to the curries to pizzas or curries, you won't be disappointed!

Pedimos una pizza de 12" con una hamburguesa con patatas fritas peri peri. La porción de patatas fritas era muy pequeño, así mezquino, por el precio de 3 libras. 90 robar a las patatas fritas eran pasada grasienta, parecía sobras con la hamburguesa de color rojizo casi incomible sin duda no era una hamburguesa peri no llenaban el peri en alguna sabor difgusting. La pizza estaba bien pero ahora ya comiendo sus comidas dieron un estómago pregunto lo su higiene es realmente?Nunca más volvería a usar este para llevar.
