Swindon Truck Stop in Swindon

This has to be the worst truck stop food so far. We arrived at 6.30 so not too late but the meals we wanted had run out so had to order something else but it was poor quality and not nice at all so we didn’t eat most of it. I was passenger with hubby so can only comment on ladies toilets but they were clean. Ladies were lovely just shame the food let them down. We were stuck between this one and Chippenham but wished we had gone there instead now. Will know to avoid next time.

I hadn’t been to truck stop for a few years and it will be a lot longer before I go back,there web page is so outdated,boasts truck wash no,fridge box no time at turn off point,showers old dirty and small,food not to bad but could be a lot better,small parking bays to close to each other and full of pot holes,bar permanently closed no were to relax and well over priced,£4 for a latte next morning I’m a truck driver not an company ceo.

This parking is very very noisy they allow trailer swapped here all day / night long there are wagon and drags with swap bodies coming in and dropping and swapping bodies.I asked the driver why he is dropping next to other lorries with curtains closed he replied the with i was told to do it here by the parking attendant whom is obviously a moron. The showers and toilet are disgraceful I paid £27.50 for a parking spot to sleep and couldn’t . I will never park here again.

Past six o’clock they never have much food left and they also turn the grills off an hour and half before they close so the menu is very limited. Junction 29 truckstop is also operated by on route and its a lot better.

Been here a couple of times and the guy with the glasses who parks everyone up is so rude , I’ve had it both times . Because he’s panicking about parking everyone up , all spaces always blocked with cones so you never know if you can get parked , last of the concern I need when I can’t drive no more due to hours. Sure food is good I’ve not tried yet at this one but I just wanted to mention about the rude traffic Marshall now that he’s been rude more then once and makes me feel like i’m not welcome.

The portions of the food are so small it's like a kid's meal Used to be a good place for food got that expensive now. For food, you may as well go to the pub and get a better quality and bigger portion for the price thay are charging

This place is disgusting the showers were filthy drains blocked hair all over the place floors dirty as for the food had a baked vegetable lasagna burnt rock solid took it back not even an apology never mind a refund they think drivers are desperate some time we are when we can’t find parking this company should pay us to come here

Stopped here for a quick sandwich and drink. What a dump. Kitchen looks like a war zone, toilets (portakabin) were disgusting, tea was warm and two small very greasy pieces of bacon in a long awaited baguette. Poor and much better places around.

Has solid ground parking if not a bit sunken with use where the tyres sit. It has a small shop and a cafe, toilets and showers for LADIES as well. Food not bad for prices. Cafe shuts at 21.00hrs. Parking only is £19, with food I think is £23.50, with a £5 meal voucher. Next door however is a Sainsbury's store, which also has a cafe. The truck stop uses the same entrance as if using the Sainsbury's. It gets full pretty quick and that also means it gets tighter 2 park with the space between the rows quite tight. The fuel pumps here take the usual fuel cards. Its about 10/15 mins from M4 jnc 15, depending on time of day.When I got here there was a yd man telling you where 2 park.

We had some shopping to do first then on to the Cafe area, we ordered an egg mayonnaise and a BLT sandwich and a Carrot cake with two teas. The sandwiches were fresh with plenty of filling, the cake was also nice.

Contrary to previous reviews, my son and I had a wonderful cooked breakfast here yesterday - what a find!We had the Box 2 breakfast with extra Black Pudding and a cup of tea for £6.10.Portions were large, food was excellently cooked, and very warm. We will definitely return.

It is NOT secure, there is no one around between 9pm and 6am and idiots drive around in their cars like it's Silverstone circuit. There is no point ringing to reserve a space as they say someone else has taken your space or you didn't ring, even if you show them the call record on your phone, then the "parking attendant" is rude and arrogant. The food portions are small enough for a toddler and is cold. Toilets and showers are disgusting and don't look like they've been cleaned for 6 months. Waste of good money !

This place is terrible. Toilets and showers dirty food not much better. Parking is very tight for trucks. Better off going to Sainsbury's next door at least the food and toilets are much much better. Don't think I will be stopping again.

Hgv driver parking is very tight staff especially in the shop needs to start smiling Payed by snap as I will not go in the cafe Very dirty and high prices Best going to Sainsbury's next door Nice cafe , or get some bargains in store and eat in the truck

Popped in to the truck stop for s bite to eat earlier today , pleasant staff and good cheap food , clean toilets and good all round parking.

We had a nightmare day, and they looked after us like my family would have. Enjoyed a nice sausage bap and a coffee. The guys even helped us load the van back up. Thank you so much.

Average truckstop food ok toilet and shower facilities ok. Sainsbury next door which is handy.there is a bar if you want a drink fuel facilities and a little shop.

I've just been served possibly the worsed meal I have EVER had. Ordered faggots and chips. Chip well over cooked. Faggots tasted like sand they were so dry! This is the second time I've tried to eat here. Never again!!!!!!!

Used to use this place all the time, loved it. Not been for a few years so was excited to go back... Wish I'd tried somewhere else. Although you get a lot of food for your money, the eggs on my plate were cold and not quite cooked (can't stand snotty eggs), and I felt the bacon had seen better days. Some staff were chirpy but for the most part not alot of customer service.... However, for a trucker looking for a shower, the newly refurbished showers here are lush.

Following a couple of "under new management" reviews I stopped by for a "full English" which was sadly very average at best. As a fan of a good breakfast fry up the portions were good but I was disappointed with the overall meal once it arrived and only the cheerfulness of the staff kept me from rating it as poor instead of average.

truck stop under new management .is slowly being refurbished .all meat is fresh and sourced locally and a good menu cooked fresh by friendly staff .well worth a visit
