Have tried various Fish and chip shops in Scarborough and Swift’s are a good Option , fish cooked to perfection and the chips are thick and good quality potatoes Would recommend this shop.

Frequently have a chip supper and everything here is freshly cooked and cooked well.Very well priced and always generous portions.They are never greasy and always hot and delicious.I have tried them all and these are the best hands down.

81 Castle Road, Scarborough YO11 1BH EnglandI've eaten fish and chips in seven cities in the UK, and it's the best I've ever had. The fish was fresh, the fish meat was thick, and best of all, it was well-fried with a not-too-thick batter. I ate it three times while staying in Scarborough. It was delicious even when taken out, and it's located next to the store. You can eat it at the cafe. The size of the fish was the largest ever, but I couldn't eat it all, so I kindly told me that it would be a good idea to order the takeaway special next time, so I did that. The young lady who served me was also really kind. I don't know if I'll come again, but if I do, I'll definitely stop by again. I moved to Bath and tried the famous fish and chips here, but unfortunately it wasn't delicious.

1 Fishburn RoadFish is good chips are dire. Dark brown in colour, swimming in grease and cooked in oil that tastes like it hasn't been changed in months. There are much better options in Whitby.
