Once again I am from the South so I paid a visit to Sweet Chillies. This time I forsook the House Specials and settled for "on of the usual suspects": chicken pathia. Very good and it was a struggle to finish it all. Well done. Looking to my next visit.

Given an estimated delivery time which when reached got a message saying delivery going to be late new delivery time pushed back by 30 minutes. However the food is always hot and delicious.

Sadly the food was cold. The plastic containers did not keep the food hot as they should.

This place was recommended to me, Best Balti I’ve had in years! And I’ve had lots! Service superb, so busy which is great to see but had time to always check on us. Shout out to Iqbal , the owner I believe, absolute gentleman, so welcoming. The two other las waiting on tables excellent too. Wonderful evening, really pleasant staff who were very accommodating food wise. Good food and generous portions with reasonable prices. I will definitely go back.

I have eaten at Sweet Chillies before and loved their food. The curries and nan were excellent. When I ordered it said over an hour so happy when it came earlier then expected. Absolute quality and worth every penny.

Always great Bangladeshi food, they have a bar and offer takeaway too.

Ordered another takeaway from this restaurant, yet again the order was delivered incorrectly, it was delivered 20 minutes after the expected time too and it was cold. I spoke to AJ and they sent the missing item 40 minutes later. Not good service

The food was spectacular genuinely the best weve had. The service was outstanding we’ve been here a few times and will continue to - Reza and Jay were wonderful - honestly they thought of the kids, recommended options, thoughtful service from start to finish I only wish I was hungrier so I could eat all over again! Reza is a genuine credit to you. 5 stars

Food The options available are extensive and you literally can not go wrong- every single dish is delicious. The mixed grill in particular is incredibly well portioned, well seasoned and the sauces in amazing! My wife had the meat thaali and had an incredible coconut chicken as well as other meat dishes. Value Simply put incredible value for the quality of food you receive Service Intentionally left this last as the level of service here is unmatched. Even Michelin star restaurants we’ve ate at haven’t matched the service given Rex’s and jay do everything in their gift to make your visit memorable and cater to every need. From engaging with the kids (making sure they finish their food) to ensuring you know exactly what’s in every dish and being able to offer changes where relevant. They were personable , polite and really gave a great experience!

A good clue as to how good a restaurant is is by looking at its menu. That of Sweet Chillies must be the best that I have yet seen: multi-paged, excellent design, easy to read with a description of each dish on offer. The food is pretty good as well! As I have said before: whenever I am up from the South you will always find me dining there.

The food was okay but when I paid I didn't know what it said on the card machine and the member of staff got angry

As always when we visit Sweet Chillies we had a very good experience. Jay was looking after us along with other colleagues and he was friendly, efficient and made us feel extremely welcome. The food is really very good, to say the least. They even offer to make whatever you would like, even if it isn't on the menu. I would recommend anyone to give it a go.

I do like this restaurant, good food nice atmosphere and good service , as a regular at this location i do have one complaint and i think its a fair and genuine issue. I think it's poor at the end of your evening to be presented with a bill you cant even read, this is not a one off this has happened on almost every occasion. I have no objection to paying my Bill, but please present me with a bill i can read, is it too much to ask ? Come on guys you have a great place with just one issue spoiling a good evening, if it's going to be hand written please itemise the bill, i could ask the question am i even paying the correct Bill ???. your good so lets just make it perfect not a lot to ask.

We dined here on a busy Friday night with a large group. The food and service were great, with all the guys that work there very friendly, patient and efficient. The food was that good I went back for a takeaway the following evening. Will definitely be going back again!

The lovely Close I live in arranges social events. It was my turn so I visited sweet chillies as I'd been before to book. It couldn't have gone better. 20 of us had a great evening chatting eating and enjoying life. The food was great the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It is not easy doing food for such a big group. Nothing was too much trouble. We will repeat.

Our first visit of many im sure.Walking in I was very impressed with the decore and warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. But when food came...wow ! The dips for the poppadoms where delicious. Our vegetarian food was I'd say the best curry I've ever eaten. We accidentally ordered an extra curry which we've bought home...I'm so glad I over ordered. The staff are amazingly friendly and the food is the best in Birmingham. I brought my Dad here for his birthday and they treated him like a King. Reza went out of his way to make us feel welcome and served the most amazing food. The owner chatted to us about football and ensured we were having a good evening. Highly recommend this place, go for the food stay for the chat. Keep Right On.

We had a fabulous evening meal out to celebrate an anniversary. This was the 1st time we had visited Sweet Chillies. Staff were attentive, food was brilliant - lots of choice and staff were able to advise/ recommend on recipe dishes. We are already planning a return visit. The guy who served us (Jay) was very cheerful and talkative. 2 of us were unsure of what to have and he recommended us 2 great dishes that we both really enjoyed! I usually go for the boring chicken tikka masala and am very happy I went for his recommendation. I will have this dish again when I come back!

Myself and my family had a fantastic evening tonight. The food is always presented so well, the menu is really varied and there's some unique dishes that I've never seen anywhere else. My aubergine starter is so good, I have it every time I come here. My lamb spinach and potato balti was really tasty and the meat was very tender. Sweet chillis has such a friendly atmosphere, you always get a warm welcome and the staff are so attentive. Our waiter Reza really made our night and my daughter was delighted with the special ice cream he made for her. I've been coming here for many years now and every single time is a 5 star experience. I really recommend Sweet Chillis, you'll love it. Plenty of parking too.

forgot one of my items and was faced with rude customer service 👎🏻

my boyfriend and i ordered a chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and a 1.5L of coca cola. i specifically wrote on the order notes "please don't forget these items" and listed it. i also stated not to knock, and to phone me when they arrived. we were waiting an hour and a half for our food, which was quite a while in my opinion, aswell as not giving us any updates on our order. whenever i have sat in the restaurant, its been lovely with friendly staff. however, tonight has disappointed me. they forgot our bottle of coke, costing nearly £4 and i wasn't willing to lose my money like that. the delivery driver arrived and banged the door loudly twice, despite it being 9:30pm. we called the restaurant to follow our drink up, and we were faced with "give me a minute" and the phone being put down on us. i was confused as to what was going to happen regarding my drink to go with my meal. i waited 10 minutes to call back, and got my boyfriend to do so due to the fact i felt like a pest after being faced in a rude manner. its now 10pm and were still waiting for our drink- not good enough in my opinion 👎🏻

If Birminghham is the home of the British curry scene then Sweet Chillies must be very near the top of the tree. Extensive menu which specialises in Bengal cuisine with many dishes that I have not seen anywhere else. And all of them good. And...

What a wonderful experience, from the warm welcome from Jay, the interaction and chat with the owner and the lovely takeaway. I over ordered so will be enjoying it all weekend! I will definitely return to eat in with family and friends. Thank you. Nigel

Brilliant food, great service and reasonable prices. The best of its kind in the area. The menu has a wide range of dishes available, many of which you will not see anywhere else.

Fantastic food. More expensive than many takeaways. But for a special occasion well worth the extra.

First time diners...throughly enjoyed the selection of dips.. main meal was absolutely amazing and 2 pints of cobra beer and a glass of red wine for my partner rounded off a great night out...we will return.
