Sweet Caroline's Café @ Sharpe's Pottery Museum in South Derbyshire

we are regular visitors and always welcomed in a very friendly manner and always feel welcome, however busy the cafe is. there is always a good selection of food and drink available and is always served at a high quality from the friendly staff. Would recommend calling in if you are in the area

Sweet Caroline's is a warm welcoming environment...the staff are very friendly and helpful. The dining area is very clean and bright. The food is always very tasty and satisfying...we come here as often as we can. It also has a great outside area-we enjoy sitting outside in the nice weather with our dog. Pleasant surroundings, good food that’s reasonably priced, served by lovely friendly people. Special dietary requirements are catered for. Well worth a visit. 😊

Our favourite place for breakfast in Swadlincote, we've been visiting quite regularly to enjoy their lovely food. Breakfast is good value, well presented and always delicious. Staff are all lovely and there's a nice atmosphere.

My husband and I have been going to Sweet Carolines for quite a while now, sometimes once but mostly twice a week to enjoy a traditional english cooked breakfast. Sweet Caroline's is a lovely cafe and we have found the food to be of good quality, well presented, and the staff to be friendly and welcoming. My bugbear with so many cafes is that they serve hot food on cold plates which means your food goes cold quickly but NOT at Sweet Caroline's. Your food is delivered to your table on warm plates leaving you to enjoy your food at a leisurely pace. Perfect, perfect, perfect.

Have been visiting for over a year for coffee and lunches. Al Caroline and the staff are always welcoming and are willing to go the extra mile to give customer satisfaction. Have had various items from the menu and the food is always first class and reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely welcoming cafe.

This cafe is one of the best in swadlincote friendly staff. My wife and i go here regularly. Our breakfast club also goes there once a month. It is always good quality food would definitely recommend.

We have been calling in to the cafe for breakfast, for over a year now. We sometimes call in during the week, for a coffee and cake. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Brilliant Cafe!! the staff are very friendly and will do anything to help you . Myself and my friend go here at least twice a week sometimes for coffee breakfast or lunch . Lovely food really well presented and worth the money !! Great service that’s why we love to go there .

I regularly eat here and I have never had any cause to be dissatisfied. The food is always hot and freshly cooked and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The owners who regularly serve and greet are first-class entrepreneurs with a strong customer focus. Well worth a visit!

I collected a Bacon, Brie and Chilli Jam Panini for lunch, which cost £6.50, and discovered when I got home that it: Only had one slice of bacon on it, which, as you can see from the photo, didn’t even cover all of the sandwich Hardly had any chilli jam on too, to the point where I could barely taste it Didn’t have much brie on it either, I’m not sure how they managed to cut the brie so thin Also wasn’t the biggest panini bread either, the kind you can buy a pack of four of from the supermarket, as opposed to the longer ones you’d expect from a café. I did call to complain but was told by the manager, that I got put through to, that they only put one piece of bacon on a panini, which they chop up to remove the fat, and was fed the classic line “I’m the only person that has complained” (by which they mean I’m the only one that’s taken the time to provide them feedback). They didn’t offer any other resolution, no offer to replace the food or refund me. Having eaten it, I wish I’d have gone back down rather than calling them to complain. Shocking, especially as we have breakfast there quite often and while it can be a bit hit and miss, it’s reasonably priced for what you get. I would be embarrassed to serve this and I’m really surprised they’re not, one piece of bacon is just not enough for a dish that’s centred around bacon. I’ve had this dish before and it was better before, so I can only assume they’re trying to improve their margins but cutting down on the ingredients. I think I’ll be ordering from elsewhere in future

My granddaughter’s christening reception was here, wonderful staff & atmosphere, the buffet food was delicious & the christening cake was wonderful. It’s spotlessly clean, outdoor area for the kids to play. Would highly recommend absolutely faultless from start to finish. Thank you x

This is a beautiful cafe, it’s very welcoming and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is always fresh and hot, very child welcoming too with a little play area outside plus seating area. Definitely a regular for us.
