We went for lunch and ordered a jacket potato with baked beans, jacket potato with tuna mayo and a children's sausage roll with beans. When it came the sausage roll had been microwaved and was soggy this was not edible as it was also tough. The jacket potato with beans was really dry and I could not eat it, they were supposed to be served with a salad garnish and coleslaw which was so small it wasn't worth putting on the plate and the presentation was terrible. When I complained the attitude of the manager was disgraceful she did not know what was wrong and never has complaints. Bit of advice for her maybe listen to what your customers are telling you. I would definitely not recommend this place at all worst lunch I have ever had and the Manager would only refund the children's sausage roll. Overall very disappointing and attitude of staff bad.

I recently indulged in a fruit scone that was truly a delightful experience after catching my eye in the window. Each bite was a balance of flavours and textures; the scone was delightful on its own, but with the cream and jam, it became an exquisite treat. This fruit scone is undoubtedly the nicest I have ever tasted, surpassing any expectations I had. If you're a fan of scones or looking for a sweet treat, I highly recommend trying this one – it’s a true culinary gem!

Saw the scones in the window and couldn’t walk past! Had the rhubarb and ginger scone and it tasted as good as it looked. Delicious. Lovely friendly staff, good cuppa , reasonably priced and clean toilets….what’s not to like?! Will definitely return.

I had a fantastic experience at the Swadford Cafe with my family! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their friendliness truly made our visit special. The homemade food was outstanding—The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal together. If you’re looking for a spot with great food, a friendly vibe, and a warm, welcoming environment, this cafe is an absolute gem. Highly recommended!

when visiting this well known establishment based in the heart of the historic town that is Skipton, i chanced upon trying one of their delicious scones and was excited by the mouth watering varieties that was put before me. I chose upon the apple and cinnamon scone. It was delicious and the flavours really well complimented eachother. After my rather pleasant trip i feel obliged to come again when i next visit this beautiful town.

Met with friends for coffee and once we saw the scones we had try some. They were enormous and delicious. Loved how all the food is on display and the kitchen is in full view so you can see the preparation taking place. The meals are all obviously homemade and looked lovely when the staff brought them out our next girly date will be lunch! The Swadford hub is now our new “Betty’s” the scones are that good! Well done team keep up the good work

Cannot say anything good. The coffee tasted terrible - really strong & like instant rather than latte or cappuccino The scones were very dry & none of the staff smiled at all. Maybe a bad day as a busy bank holiday but not good at all

Arrived in Skipton, with 15 month old granddaughter and 2 dogs, shortly before lunch. My wife is gluten intolerant and vegetarian so finding places to eat, especially with two dogs, is not always easy. Consequently, when we were passing the Swadford Hub and saw it was dog friendly and was advertising gluten free scones, we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. My wife, for once, had a reasonable choice from the menu and, overall, there was a good choice for breakfast or light lunch. The food was tasty and the homemade cakes were delightful. Staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. For some, the tables and chairs may seem a little functional but the chairs were comfortable and everything was clean and all tables were given a good clean after each use. Toilets were clean and there are baby changing facilities. We will definitely go back.

A great little find, called in Saturday afternoon ended up having homemade quiche with salad and corned beef pie with mash and mushy peas and 2 proper mugs of tea all for £20. My wife said the quiche was the best she had ever tasted and the pie was lovely, proper mashed potatoes, 🤤 We will definitely be coming here again.

Food home made and tasty and pleasant staff. However charging 50p for a glass of tap water is to me unacceptable when paying nearly £5 for a bowl of soup and a roll . (ie total bill just under £10 but became over £10 with the tap water! ) Didn’t get the £1 staff tip although new policy of now charging for tap water presumably means 50p more to owners and in my case staff punished £1 for what I see as managements greed. (Sorry it wasn’t fair on staff ) Not sure whether water price was displayed ! Will never go back!

Also known as the Swadford Hub or the Swadford Wellbing Cafe. Ordered cheese omelettes, one with onion and one with mushrooms (just under £7 each), and 2 lattes. Service was really good, with polite and friendly staff. Lots of tables to sit at which are all clean and well presented. The food was homemade and tasted delicious, with the side salad being very fresh and crispy and a small but thick omelette. Lattes were strong coffees and not the largest, but still good. Will visit again when next in the area.

The staff were pleasant and friendly. The ambience was quiet, no crappy music, the chairs were comfortable. Three tasty local beers on tap at fair prices and a range of varied eats, again at reasonable prices. Exellent spot for a quick drink/snack/toilet visit.

I can't say enough good things about this little coffee house! The food was delicious as was the coffee. Their hospitality was warm, inviting, friendly, funny - my list could go on and on. They have seating inside as well as outside. There are lots of yummy choices on their menu. The baked goodies are made fresh each morning by the owner (who was just so lovely). Honestly, this was our favorite place to grab a bite in Grassington.

Enjoyed the special pie night 2 for 1 😊 Young girl behind the bar was excellent, she basically ran the bar, took food orders, waitressing and all in a professional manner, never flustered even when there was a queue. We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned the following night and was served by an equally proficient young man and enjoyed all our meals. Generous portions, well cooked and presented. Big thumbs up to the whole team. 😁

We've visited many times and chosen from the breakfast menu which has always been first class. However today I decided to choose a punjabi lunch special which was brown lentil Dahl yogurt, salad and freshly made chapati, oh my word it was first class. Well worth the 36 mile round trip. The owner & waitress are lovely, so friendly and helpful and seem very genuine that you enjoy your visit. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed
