Suzette in Wandsworth

I went there on 3rd of September 2024 food was good prices were reasonable. On 4th of September 2024 went there again food was awful prices had doubled. I asked for a receipt. The guy at the till kept on getting closer while trying to justify huge price hike. I almost threw up as he had a shocking breath. Please check prices before ordering and avoid asking questions at all cost if you don't like bad breath.

Visited on a Thurday lunch spontaneous drop in after shopping. We had a lil puppy with us & were delightfully welcomed & served by lovely italian waitress. She bought some chicken treats for doggy & paid so much attentiin to detail when preparing our baquette & ham & cheese crisiont. The food was fresh & top quality. Juice was genorous & fresh pressed. Coffee excelkent. Ambience welcome, peaxful & above all very attentive.

I used to love going to Suzette because of its great coffee and customer service, but this has sadly declined in recent months due to their new weekend staff. Last week, I was behind one person in the queue yet it took nearly FIFTEEN minutes for me to be served. I should have walked off but I was knackered and needed coffee, and don't like Gail's, which is the only other alternative nearby. There were three members of staff behind the counter, two of whom were focused on making food for two customers who were sat down. The other staff member was frantically making coffees in between processing people's payments after they'd eaten their food. This caused constant disruption and delay for me and the customer in front. On a previous occasion, I walked into Suzette and was the only customer queuing up. Again, the same scenario played out, except this time all three staff members were busy making food and none of them stopped to acknowledge my presence, let alone serve me. I found this to be incredibly rude and not in line with the usual lovely and friendly service I get at Suzette on weekdays from the female members of staff. Just some suggestions for Suzette's management: 1) If there are three members of staff behind the till and a big queue has formed, logically, two out of three staff members should not be preparing food for one set of customers. This causes massive delays and is unfair on people who want to make a simple coffee order. 2) Please revert to charging stay-in customers once they've made their order, as opposed to them finishing their food then going up to the till and disrupting the barista while he is taking another customer's order. This kept happening while I was queuing. Again, this causes a lot of delay and isn't fair on other customers who are waiting to be served. 3) Teach your weekend staff basic etiquette: a simple "hello" or "I'll be with you shortly" to customers wouldn't go amiss, as opposed to completely ignoring them when they're waiting to be served. Nor would an apology or a "thank you" after making them wait a century to be served. I must add that the above does not apply to Suzette's weekday staff, who are beyond charming and efficient. There's one lady who is especially lovely (who's either Dutch or South African). How is it that she is so quick when serving (coffee and food) to a big line of customers on her own, yet three members of weekend staff working simultaneously take ten times as long to complete a simple order?!!!

Great busy little place where the owner definitely works there and oversees the excellent food going out on the plates. It’s a rare thing to go to a restaurant where it seems their main aim is so that you leave happy. Will definitely be back, thank you Suzette!

excellent baguettes- can make your own with your choice of fillings. service a little slow as theyre very busy but very friendly staff. Prices quite expensive but good quality

What a lovely place Suzette is! Friendly staff, great crepes, tasty cakes and they also offer discount for NHS staff which is always really appreciated. I’ll definitely be back ☺️🥞

Great people, great food, must visit!!! With Suzette we don’t need to go to France anymore. Their galettes are amazing 😍😍

We walked from Putney to Hyde Park for the Hyde Park BST gig and stumbled across this gem. It was so hot so we stopped for a smoothie and chance to get out of the heat. The guy was super friendly, I mean so nice it made me wish we were friends. He bought over a French pastry which we all fell in love it and instantly googled to find a recipe. The music and the decor was fabulous. If I lived in the surrounding area I would make this my regular haunt but alas the commute from Plymouth is far too long. However, I will be back.

Stumbled across Suzette and it was brilliant. We had the La Breakfast and the La Goaty galettes and they were incredible. Huge portions and very tasty.

My friend showed me this place last weekend and I loved it, so yesterday we came again. The service was again very efficient, so the social distance queue was getting short very quickly and mostly the staff was lovely and very friendly! We had oatmeal cappuccino, americano, fresh orange juice and 2 of the French canelés and enjoyed it all!!! It was our high light of the Sunday during lock down.

Love this little cafe. Really good sweet crepes and savoury galettes (not many of these in this part of London) with superb coffee. The guys up front are always having a laugh and will make any crepe or galette you fancy. It's nice to sit inside when it's a bit chilly, great on one of the tables outside in summer. Also nice to wander with a takeaway to the river - about 100 yards away.
