Once again, Rey and Thomas made us feel like guests in their own home.. So welcoming. Food was delicious, and really good value. Would recommend to anyone.

The Gazette is like being at home in a French kitchen... comfort and style with wonderful food and happy ambience..

I had my reservation confirmed by Open Table for Sunday 7 January 24 for 13.30 for 3 people. Upon arrival at the restaurant we found the door locked and handwritten notice “Closed tor private function”. We were disappointed and greatly annoyed aa my 2 friends came from far away. I have written to the manager of Gazette Trinity next day complaining but had no reply. It was a big inconvenience to travel there and find the restaurant closed. I will not support this place in future.

Delicious classic French food. Excellent friendly service. Pleasant ambience, conservatory between buzzing main restaurant and quite side extension. Good value.

I booked a month in advance for Mother’s Day for my mother and my wife, but when we arrived they had mistranscribed the booking and thought there were 2 not 5 of us coming. So we were put in the empty, soulless, draughty alley room. No apology given. I asked if the manager could come to discuss, but no one ever came. This is a nice place in theory, and the food was decent, but this was terrible service and I won’t darken your door again.

French onion soup was the worst I have ever ever had. It’s on their “ our specialties” list as well Bland, no croutons, cheese was like flavourless chewing gum, onions under cooked. Properly horrible.

This is one of my local favourites for dinner or lunch. Great French food and wines, lovely, warm and efficient staff. Nice decor and ambience. Highly recommend.

We love Gazette and it was our first time at the Wandsworth venue. Food and service were perfect as usual. It’s just a pity that it was too hot. The glass roof is not ideal during a heat wave. Appart from that, we had a lovely time.

Classic French Brasserie food of a high quality. Good and friendly service.

First time here. Clearly under pressure to turn tables and move as much product due to covid but we found the service abrupt and rude. We were also criticised for arriving slightly late and reminded that we need to leave in 1h15. This focused our minds into ordering less and making plans to continue or brunch elsewhere. When we left, the restaurant was still half empty. A shame.

We had an excellent time here celebrating my brother’s birthday. The food was delicious and the cocktail and wine menus were extensive. The garden is tucked away from the Trinity Road so you wouldn’t even know you were near a main road!

Good as usual, though service struggled a bit given cramped quarters and the post-lockdown demand for tables. Still a good performance, and still a fan.

Amazing staff, good food, nice space

The best steak I have ever eaten! Go on a Monday for a great offer on Chateaubriand. All courses were delicious and that little bit special. Great service and lovely venue (though it wasn’t exactly outside, more just open doors at either end). I’d definitely recommend, especially if they open the roof to make it fully outside.

Took my food buddy here for a surprise romantic dinner as he is French and we absolutely loved the food! The risotto is a MUST try, such beautiful flavors and great customer service and environment. We will be back here for a future anniversary.

We had a very nice table overlooking the green. The service was very attentive and quick. The food was great apart from the oysters were tasteless unfortunately, but overall we really enjoyed our lunch. Nutty Late was delicious!

We had a very enjoyable meal at Gazette Trinity. The menu has changed from last time we visited, and is more innovative / creative, but maybe less traditional French too, though I'm not an expert. Lovely service and thoroughly recommended.

Amazing food as ever and the restaurant is excellent but was very empty with meant it lacked atmosphere

The food and the service have been amazing. An couple of criticisms, we asked for a ribeye “medium rare” and it was well done and the starters were too much could. It’s impossible to feel the real flavour of french charcuterie if it is could.

Our second dinner at Gazette within a month and this Christmas get together was both enjoyable and festive. The food is fresh, varied and well-priced, wine list robust and the service is jolly and attentive. Rapidly becoming the go-to local of choice!

We had our book club Christmas dinner at the Gazette on Monday evening. Totally delicious food, such a great choice, amazing value for money and so glad we chose to come here. Will definitely be back!

Solid french food. Beautiful rustic setting. Steak tartare is the star of the show. Onion soup needs to have more depth. Very large chunks of tough duck. Great wine selection. Reasonably priced.

Our large group felt well looked after. The restaurant was not too busy, and we were able to enjoy a fairly private and relaxed dinner. The food across the Gazette restaurants is always of a reliably high quality. Would definitely return, I'd recommend this place for groups of family/friends and also for a cosy date.

We had a good late dinner with five friends. Food was good, service ok but informal, price fine, venue relaxed.

It’s a nice place, replacing the Bellevue menu with a gazette group upmarket bistro menu. We had an unfortunate drinks service accident hence a star off for service - but the drama was well handled by the staff! I was there with family and we all really enjoyed the meal, the ambience and the staff are lovely. Will return frequently!!

I booked this table for my boyfriends birthday. We had a really lovely meal, good ambiance, great service, very friendly staff and I felt good value for money. Enticed by the fact they had their own wine we went for the house rose which was a lot nicer than bottles I’ve paid double for. We did go on a Wednesday night so it was a lot quieter than I imagine at a weekend.

Absolutely brilliant and delicious food - 5 of us all had starter and main course and every single one of us had delicious food. This is a million miles better than the one that was in Balham - it’s like a different experience. The calamari risotto was so good as was the chateau briand, artichoke and they do a very nice Pinot noir too !

Really enjoyed our meal at Gazette this evening. Lots of great choice on the menu, authentic French cuisine beautifully cooked and welcoming knowledge service. All at a fair price in a comfortable relaxed setting. I could grumble that I might have expected a little more tiger prawn in the starter (that portion was a bit mean!) but everything else was spot on. Bravo!

Breakfast was amazing, I assume not many people know that they do breakfast as it was very quiet in the restaurant. That didn’t matter because we had fantastic service and really excellent food! Cannot wait to try this place in the evening - I hope they get lots of support and can continue to deliver great food and service.

We used to visit Balham Gazette regularly and were sad when it closed. We are delighted that Gazette Trinity has opened and enjoyed our first meal there very much. Service was a bit slow but it was very child friendly which was great for a family celebration

As always, food was very nice - it may be my imagination but the portions seem to have got larger - and starters were too large!! I dont often say that! Service was excellent, ate in the lovely little courtyard outside, all very nice. Starters - I had the crab which was fresh and very nice, my friend had the foie gras creme brulee which was delicious - but a large portion for a very rich dish! We had cod for main - beautifully served, and very nicely cooked. All good!

I have never heard of the restaurant and was searching for something nice last minute. So I had no idea what to expect. The food was amazing and the atmosphere equality good. Very relaxed friendly staff and typical French service. If you are looking for a relaxing dinner with quality food I would recommend this place highly!

Lovely food just ensure if booking for 12 not be early since the restaurant only opens at 12. Overall a lovely bday lunch.

He estado aquí varias veces pero el viernes pasado no funcionó. Foie Gras estaba tan poco cocida que se salía del plato, el bistec de la mujer tenía que volver y las órdenes secundarias como la coliflor gratinada eran blandas como un asado inglés de los años 70. Todo combinado con una actitud algo superior que realmente solo funciona en un restaurante francés donde realmente lo están clavando. Esta fue una alternativa local divertida a cruzar el río, pero ahora un viaje de Uber a Chelsea parece valer la pena. . . . No estoy realmente seguro de lo que pasó pero no voy a arriesgarme de nuevo.

The food was OK but not all the dishes were to our liking. The risotto was very disappointing and came in a lump the crab was over salted. We ordered cocktails which arrived after our first course was served. It was a Monday night and probably as a result there was only one waiting staff which meant she was a little overstretched. The place could do with a good clean. The flowers in the vases were old. It has the potential to be a great place, it has a nice aspect with views across the cricket pitch and the conservatory like front is bright and sunny a wonderful place to sit and sip a drink in the summer.

I have a great time here every time we go. I guess the food is traditional French although I am not an expert. The food and wine are very reasonably priced and the service is great.

Great food and drinks again at Bellevue. This is one of my favourite South London restaurants. The only down side this time was how quiet the place was - but it was Bank Holiday Monday lunchtime. I'll definitely be going back!

After a superb day at Chelsea Flower Show, and work for some, we met for a relaxed evening meal.Varied menu and so refreshing to have French cuisine. We chose the Scallop, Creme Brulee and King prawn starters. Followed by the Duck, Salmon and Lamb main courses. Although we shouldn't have, only because we were so full, desserts were selected to share and accompany our coffees. Everything was cooked to perfection and service was spot on.Perfect end to a wonderful day.

Amazing, slow service but actually didn’t mind, we was so relaxed there it didn’t really matter. And food came out beautifully done and hot.

Todos los platos principales que teníamos eran perfectos y por el precio (entre 13 y 19 por plato principal) la calidad de cocción y la cantidad ofrecida fue impresionante.La tarta tatin fue, literalmente, la mejor que he tenido en Londres.En cuanto al servicio, fue amable y eficiente.En general, una experiencia maravillosa por un precio bastante razonable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was great and we would definitely visit again. Bellevue is a hidden gem and I will be sure to share with friends.

One main course was forgotten. My John Dorsey was dry as were the lentils that went with - no sauce - rather plain Burger was small but tasty ditto the lamb

Visited Bellevue for lunch on 13/4 to celebrate our 16th wedding. The decor is very clean and fresh and our table by the window was perfect. The menu is relatively small rather than extensive which is great for us - having too much choice on a menu is off putting! There were about 5 or 6 starters, including two vegetarian options and a variety of mains - again, with a couple of vegetarian options. I would describe the menu as a mixture of rustic French with some modern twists - I’m no expert but the dishes were flavoursome, colourful, fresh and well balanced - I had the veloute to start with followed by the lamb. Both dishes were delicious. The restaurant offered a good selection of desserts but the Chariot of Fromages was the best! Service was good and the price was very reasonable. We will be returning again with friends soon!
