very good covid precautions taken had jacket pots and prawns perfect the coffee was great and the staff very good had food and drinks for 2 under £10 which is very cheap for the amount of food we had will call again when in Southam

I was passing through and called in here for a coffee. Good covid precautions were in evidence and the staff member was efficient. Price were reasonable. There was nothing exceptional about it however.

After explicitly asking for no tomatoes on a full English breakfast and paying extra for hash browns, my plate arrived smothered in tinned chopped tomatoes. On sending it back to the kitchen we heard the chef loudly say “I can’t be bothered with all this substitution bollocks”. We were offended and not impressed. Any establishment that disrespects their customers this way does not deserve the business. We asked for our money back and promptly left without eating. In this instance, not having tomatoes was a personal choice, but if this had been a food allergy issue...?

Luke warm welcome , luke warm coffee and luke warm cheesecake ( we always thought it should be kept refrigerated at the point of sale ) . The only redeeming feature was that the toilets looked clean .

Met a friend here for coffee and cake. Amazing price a just £2.25! Love the decor! Will definitely come again.

Good place for a full English. Gluten free toast available. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. food was served quickly and very tasty.

I stopped in this market town at lunchtime and found this café close to the church. I ordered a jacket potato with chilli and it was quickly and nicely prepared and tasted good. The price was competitive too.

Very friendly staff with a lovely worm welcome, fun jokey service. fresh clean look inside and out. Food served in good time and hot. Reasonable prices, would recommend for small groups, family’s and couples. Take away service is also very good 😊

As always I’ll add my stars after I’ve written my review. We came here myself and my 2 kids as another venue was full. I thought ah we’ve not been in here yet let’s give it a go. We did and the cafe is small but cosy comfortable and decorated for Halloween too. Both tables were taken but they have the American style bars and stools so that was okay as they were comfortable too. I had a latte which was okay, perhaps could’ve done with being a bit stronger for my own liking. The Milkshake looked great for the eldest. We ordered the food which was cooked fresh. It took a bit longer to come out but this was because they were cooking it fresh. The Full House Breakfast was by far one of the best breakfasts I’ve had out of a cafe and I’ve had a few. And value for money too as it was only £6 ish. I’d go again just for the breakfast. All the food was good the service was swift and friendly and the atmosphere was superb. I’d have liked to of seen some big cakes in there to choose from but they only had smaller tray bakes which were all individually wrapped in clingfilm so we didn’t have any treats afterwards. Well worth a visit though folks.

Straightforwardly a quality, simple corner café, with friendly service and filling food. It's easy-going and the staff will do make a real effort to give you what you want, how you want it - I'm writing this review because the 'AndyB20' review seems so unfair. I've know the place since it opened a few years ago, and the boss lady and staff make a real effort to keep the service and quality good.

Called in for breakfast with some workmates as we regularly do if passing. Always a friendly welcome good sized portions and great coffee. Can't wait till next time 🖒

Two of us visited this cafe for lunch on Thursday 27th April 2018. The cafe was cold (2 doors open causing a through draft and a ceiling fan was on). Perhaps this was deliberate to try to reduce the strong smell of fried food! We ordered paninis. One brie, bacon and cranberry sauce which we asked for without the cranberry sauce! It arrived smothered in the stuff!!! If it hadn’t taken so long to arrive we would have sent it back and reordered. But due to needing to be at an appointment we didn’t have time to wait for another panini to be prepared! All in all very disappointing!
