Delicious food but seriously understaffed ; not helped by gazillions of take away drivers constantly coming in hassling the manager and detracting massively from a very nice restaurant.

Small restaurant serving great sushi and small plates including tartares, ceviches and salads. Great service and nice cocktails too!

Brilliant. Food was delicious, especially the tuna tartare! Lots of gluten free options and the team where very friendly.

We arrived very early in the evening to scope it out as a possible venue for a big birthday celebration. The wait staff was incredibly unfriendly as soon as we arrived and he made us feel very unwelcome. We nearly left as he made us feel so uncomfortable ... We ordered sushi which included tempura prawn which was obviously not made to order. It tasted of old oil so must have been sat out for a while. Not nice. We will not be back.

The decor/interior/vibe and the service were ok but non of the food we ordered were good…..failed attempts to ‘revolutionalise’ their take on “Japanese” cooking 🙈😅 left feeling hungry and frustrated because we could have ate better at Brixton market 🙄

Had been here before with a friend and had wanted to bring my wife to try it. Food as before excellent - apart from one of the dishes which they offered to replace for something else without even asking. Excellent and friendly service. Many thanks and look forward to dining here again

Love the decor of the restaurant, especially the bar area. All the food was incredibly tasty and the staff were so friendly. Definitely somewhere to try!

Amazing food, we had an array of dishes and all tasted equally great. Only downside is how squishy the restaurant is so go with people you're comfortable with as it's elbow to elbow at the high tables.

Not exactly traditional Japanese sushi, with padron peppers on the menu. Maybe it's Spanish Japanese fusion? Really yummy either way. The service was uninterested, with the waiter forgetting to bring us menus and it was hard to get their attention. Food came really quickly though, possibly because it wasn't busy. Nearly £80 for two people is a bit pricey, even for sushi.

Luckily this is our local but we would happily trek across London for it! Excellent quality sushi, salmon and aubergine nigiri are a must. The gyoza is also banging. They have a great playlist too. Would recommend finishing with miso brownie bites.

we found this place on tiktok and absolutely adored the sushis. I can safely say that it was some of the best I’ve ever had! however the service left to be desired, we were practically shoved off the table and our plates taken away when we were barely finished. the waiter then proceeded to tell us that it was a card only service very rudely when he came back with the bill —which is a bit frustrating, because once again the food was exceptional.

A cool place, elegantly designed, surprising dishes, don't expect ordinary sushi. Definitely lives up to its name

Order from here for delivery and everything was delicious and like it was served in the restaurant. The tuna tartare is unbelievable as was the soft shell crab. The chicken wings were a little disappointing as they weren’t at all crispy but overall great place for delivery!! Next I’ll need to try in person.

There are other places I like better for a full on restaurant experience if I want sushi. But most of those don't offer takeaway options. So, if I fancy a takeaway of sushi, Sushi Revolution will always be my go-to place. So far I've never been disappointed.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at Sushi Revolution which we happened to walk past on a Sunday. Delicate delicious-ness really beautifully presented, friendly staff, spotless restaurant, and really good value for the quality of the meal. Particularly enjoyed the surprise hit of aubergine sushi, and tempura prawn nigiri. 🍣 Left very full. Hope the restaurant does well. Thank you!

I am extremely disappointed in this place. I’ve been visiting many times in the past usually I will call up and I’ll make order to collect if I don’t have time to sit in the restaurant. However today I called up and the treatment I received on the phone was disgusting I asked for the fried chicken sushi roll as it is what I usually order as I couldn’t remember the name of the specific dish. Usually the staff will know off by heart or suggest some of the sushi that it may be. However, this time around the manager was extremely disrespectful and was being sarcastic , and not saying what it was, he proceeded to tell me I need to look on the menu and call back and then hung up in my ears before I had a chance to let him know that I wasn’t able to access the menu online I called back and I explained to him that that is not how you speak to customers and I explained that me and my partner have been visiting here for years And we always spend quite a lot of money in the store, he was continuing to speak to me disrespectfully, and raising his voice on the phone. He wasn’t aware that my partner was listening in and thought that he was speaking to a female. Only. I was completely shocked and appalled, as I have never received service like this before. I am unsure if this is new management or what has happened here, I am unaware my partner then took over the phone and explained to him how rude he was being his attitude was like he didn’t care and I will not continue to spend my money in establishment like this. Customer service needs a lot of work and I’m completely shocked by this conversation.

Best experience. The food massively surpassed our expectations - we had seen sushi revolution on TikTok so gave it a go, but we were blown away with how delicious the food was, the crispy prawns, fried cauliflower, edamame and sushi was the best we have had! Vibes were really nice and the staff were so lovely, the manager was so friendly too - we also expected to spend a lot as we ended up ordering more and more food and wine, but it was still so reasonable and cheaper than most date nights! Highly recommend the brownie bites - you won’t regret it (and only £2.50 you can’t go wrong)!

First of all this place is super close to the Brixton station. The place is super charming. The staff is absolutely amazing, profesional and friedly. Ugur and Rodrigo was taking care of our table and they did a incredible service. The food is wonderful everything super delicious. Thank for all Sushi Revolution team and Congratulations.

My sister and I took my mum here for an early mothers day celebration. The food and cocktails were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was on point and the atmosphere was great, the decor really makes it special.. we can't wait to go back, highly recommend!

Excellent food Excellent service

This is a cute little restaurant with an open kitchen serving up some excellent sushi and some Izakaya style dishes “with a twist”. Sometimes fusion dishes fall flat on their faces, but not so here. The food is beautifully presented and totally Instagrammable. Everything we had here was scrumptious. Thanks to the staff for recommending the gorgeous aubergine. You were right, it was amazing. We could have had beer, wine or cocktails, but were immediately tempted by the sakes on offer. We felt transported back to some of the trendier Izakayas (pubs) we visited on our Japanese travels. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and provide great service. There’s something here for everyone, as there are numerous gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Loved this place: we will be back.

Great sushi for a really reasonable price. We spent about £60 including service and left full. It’s a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. They do take out too which is good to know for future. Would recommend the soft shell crab roll. I’ve eaten at a few local sushi restaurants and thought this one was the best value for authentic sushi.

Very tasty and surprisingly affordable sushi - we had to try hard not to over-order! The service was a let-down though - asked for tap water when we sat down, nothing came. Then waited for what felt like quite a long time just for someone to take our order (including a repeat request for water). Aside from that, we would happily come back.

This is some of the best sushi I’ve had in London. The food was delicious, the portion sizes just right, and the prices reasonable for the quality of the food. The atmosphere was lovely and laid-back with incredibly friendly service. We were shocked at how fast the food came out - I unfortunately have no photos to share because we dove right in. I’d recommend the sushi for two platter, which had a multitude of sushi flavors through it. Most surprising dish was the miso aubergine - light and crispy on the outside, yet melts in your mouth. Don’t hesitate to come and check out this place - you won’t be disappointed!

Great sushi place in Brixton. Really happy with our 2 person platter (we started eating before taking the photo but there were more of it on the plate). It’s on a pricier side but makes sense due to the quality of fish. Will definitely come back again when I crave sushi

Great food. I always order the salmon nigiri and scallop katafi. Felt a little off with the service today as the chef and man behind the counter were just staring at me, felt so self conscious I decide to wait for my food outside. I'm sure that's not what they intended. Maybe a smile and hello would have been better for a consistently returning customer. Hopefully, next time will be better. The guy who gave me my food was cool though.

Really lovely food and atmosphere, music was on perfect volume so even when restaurant was not as busy you could have a private conversation. Not one ordered dish was average, it was all delicious. Gentleman serving us was really nice, thank you. Will be back!

Great sushi/sashimi and good minimal/sustainable use of packaging. First time using this restaurant. Personal taste, but the spicy tuna was to spicy for me, couldn't really taste the tuna because of this.

Yummy sushi place & chicken karagee

Absolute rip off merchants. I know Deliveroo prices things up, but £19 for 12 tiny slices of sushi is just daylight robbery. Won’t be returning.

Had 2 kaburimakis and sashimi, which tasted quite nice, yet ceviche could’ve been better. Menu could be improved, they all have tempura prawn, why? Cocktails tasted meh 🫤 and such little portion for the price

The price does reflect the quality, but wow. I feel like this is the best restaurant in Brixton. We had the Dragon Platter, aubergine, pardon peppers, vegetable dumplings, scallop croquets. It was excellent. Chill environment. Attentive but mellow server. In the general chaos of Brixton, this feels like an oasis. ❤️

Amazing Sushi - the best we have found in South London. Good portion sizes and very tasty. Attentive service. The atmosphere was slightly lacking but this was most likely due to the time of day we went (late Sunday afternoon) rather than reflection on the restaurant.

Brilliantly tasting food that is served quickly by friendly staff members. Lose a star for the flavour and small size of the Piccante Sour. Could have been punchier and wasn't "sour", and very small. We'll be back 😊

Visited today with my friend for his birthday. Food was delicious and filling, we got the salmon picante rolls and they were better than I expected. Also got the veg gyoza which was stunning. Staff were lovely and attentive. Great little hidden spot would definitely recommend & visit again.

I would definitely go back here. We ordered takeaway online. When we showed up a minute early to pick up the staff was nice and honest, letting us know our order would be a bit late (someone had made a huge order right before us). They offered us a seat to wait and got us water for while we waited. Now to the sushi, it was well packed for the walk back to the hotel, it tasted great!

Every dish is delicious, and the service is great too. Highly recommend the okimari platter and the cucumber tataki!

Vegetarian options here are fabulous! The miso soup, veg gyoza, aubergine, cauliflower and spicy edamame are all utterly mouthwateringly good. Never had veggie sushi dishes this good. Blessed this is my local sushi place!
