Super Fry Fish Bar in Greenwich

Nunca pedimos sal, pero hoy alguien añadió sal al pescado y a la masa, por lo que es tan salada que no pudimos comerla! No volveré a pedir desde aquí.

Have been using this chip shop fairly frequently since moving to the area 2 years ago, it is usually ok. However today after finding a pubic hair INSIDE my chip roll we will never be using this place again. I am currently very heavily pregnant and this has made me feel sick to my stomach and we have had to throw the whole families food in the bin, a complete waste of time and money.

Not the greatest fish and chip shop in the area but great opening hours being open on a Sunday evening.

So fresh fish (from sustainable sources), twice-cooked chips, handmade salads, mushy peas and batters, great beers and coffees, environmentally friendly packaging.

I went the this take away shop on Wednesday evening 23rd August 2017. I ordered a chicken kebab for my wife and a done kebab for myself. The next 3 days were the worst in my life. I was so violently I'll being sick and diarrhea, it was intolerable. I was off work Thursday and the Friday and my Saturday was also ruined. I have never been in so much pain ever. On the sunday, I went down to the shop and asked for all the staff to come out from the back so I could talk to them. I told them what happened and they just looked at me bemused. Advised them that I will be reporting this to Greenwich council food standards and hygiene department as this shop is not cooking/storing there food properly and they must be reported as such. Go to this restaurant at your own risk. For me, I will never return and only advise of my own experience.

Everyone here is very positive and friendly, and one can eat in as well as take away. I may perhaps have arrived when the oil needed to be changed, but the generous portion was rather greasy (and I prefer my chips cooked in dripping anyway). Perhaps I will do better, next time!

An OK fish and chip shop that has a great advantage of being open on a Sunday. Pleasant staff and a good product. Reasonably priced for area.
