Absolutely incredible place to get plant based meats. Literally where the future is at. My personal favourite being the “Lamb” Kebab. Exactly what I use for when football is on and use it in Pita or loaded on to Fries with Garlic Mayo. They created the very first Vegan Boiled Egg *Mind blown* and have completely nailed it with a little of black salt!!! Also have to mention the flawless service every single time at a Market that I’ve been to! Something I could recommend for those who are wanting to look at Meat Alternatives. Thank you Sunshine Deli!! X

Increíble SFC vegano, nuestro favorito es el pollo con palomitas de maíz. ¡Todavía no he probado nada más, pero he oído cosas buenas sobre el resto del menú!

Reservamos para comer mientras visitábamos cerca. La comida es muy buena y después se compran muchos productos deli. La pestaña allí fue genial para hablar y muy feliz de agregar algunas personalizaciones a los platos.

¡Visité este lugar esta noche y tuve la mejor experiencia vegana deli! La hamburguesa de macarrones con queso era tan sabrosa, la porción era increíblemente generosa y la rosquilla biscoff que comí para llevar era tan exuberante. ¡Es tan encantador ver a la gente representando correctamente el estilo de vida basado en plantas, haciendo comida sabrosa! ¿Será un visitante frecuente?

¡Tengo que decir que el kebab mixto es para morirse! Todo el personal es realmente maravilloso. Las raciones son geniales y no puedo recomendarlas lo suficiente. ?

Ordered today off of city grab with the family. We got fish and chips, a sea burger, a mac daddy burger and a tandoori kebab. It seemed like they had a lot of pickled slaw to get rid of before it was out of date as my sisters macdaddy burger had its crisp salad replaced with pickled slaw and the crisp salad in the sea burger was replaced with pickled slaw. But the worst thing was my tandoori kebab, which should have had cabbage in but had pickled slaw instead, as it was about fifty percent pickled slaw which was extremely over powering. Drinking a bottle of vinegar would have given me the same experience.

The food is amazing, but the customer service is lacking. There is no doubt that Sunshine Deli is high demand for ordering throughout Sheffield, it is understandable that we have difficulties placing an order so when we finally get to order it’s something to look forward to! However, on 3 separate occasions (spanning 6 months) we have had our ordering pending for 1 1/2 hours to be cancelled due to insufficient ingredients. Perhaps do not allow more orders to go through if you cannot handle the demand? Or check orders frequently so you don’t have families waiting for an order that never comes. We have probably been able to place 4 successful orders, and although the food was amazing there was always something missing from the order. If we ring, no answer. Message via app, no answer. Message via Facebook, an answer minimum 2 hours later (more recently it took a full day!!) promising to add this on as a extra next time we order... which never happens. The food is amazing, but the customer service is below average. For a business that actively engages on social media it is confusing why they wouldn’t address continuing issues in relation to customer or even express a genuine apology for a minor mistake. Unfortunately after many orders hoping for there to be not one problem, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

Got a delivery of the vegan chicken bucket - such tasty food & great portion sizes! Haven’t had such good vegan ‘chicken’ before. 10/10 recommend.

Booked brunch on a Sunday, five of us dining, one vegan two veggies and two meat eaters. Had really good communication beforehand, really responsive. Such a friendly welcome on arrival, we weren’t sure what to have so we had a sharing selection. Absolutely cracking, and we were offered more but declined. Everyone really enjoyed everything, I loved the doner, scrambled tofu was brill - I’d not tried it before. We also had: sausages, cheese and onion on toast with bacon bits, hash browns, chicken nuggets, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, coffees, orange juice, jug of water. Service was faultless and the food was great. It was £35, for the five of us, we also had leftovers which we took away. It’s a small place, not part of a chain, just good honest food, I know if there was a problem or I wanted something in particular they would have tried hard to help.

3 of us ordered food via Just Eat at 7.30pm, it was declined so we rang the cafe to be old ‘Oh yes I cancelled it because we don’t have part of the order’ alarm bells probably should have rang then, but we persisted with a telephone order and was told it would be an hour which was fine. At 9pm I called to ask for an update to be told the driver is on the way but has other stops before us. At 9.35pm, 2hr 5m after ordering the driver arrives and apologies for the delay and offers £10 off the order which was very nice. Until we checked the bag and the food was freezing cold which we expected because the driver had left 35 minutes ago, and one main meal and a side was missing leaving one person with no food after a 2 hour wait. I called the cafe to be met with ‘oh I packed it sorry’ so I suggested she call the driver because for some reason this thought did not occur to her. 10 minutes later no knock or call so again I called back and she said ‘it’s not in the car but we did give you a refund so I can’t give you more money back’ At this point I was just very disappointed in this worker, she had no interest or common sense to try and help the situation. When I explained that actually the refund of £10 did not cover the missing side and main meal she said all I can say is sorry but I’m not management and can’t offer anything else. Genuinely would never return here again, the lack of communication, understanding and forward thinking was completely unbelievable. A lot of the experience could have been improved with a bit of common sense and thoughtfulness, but all of this occurred about 20 minutes before closing time & I think she just hoped the shop would be shut before we called back. You will be beyond disappointed if you eat here I’m afraid, I think i had the sausage once before that was ok but wouldn’t recommend much else! (We had to collect th last delivery because it was going to take over 2 hours again) On top of this terrible experience the food was honestly dreadful. The orange juice tasted water down, the batter was swimming in grease, the ‘fish’ tastes like a chewy sponge and of course all the food was freezing cold. Plus at the prices they’re charging youd think they would deliver it warm and manage to get the order right but sadly no. I personally believe this cafe doesn’t have the staff, delivery drives or stock to run as an online delivery service. They should stick to a day time cafe experience, I believe that would improve the customers experience because currently they’re failing to impress.

second time I've ordered from sunshine deli and they only delivered half of my order, They also refused to refund me or deliver the rest of the order when I phoned them.

Not a bad word to say nice the food is home comforts, f’sh & chips, seitan kebabs and cruelty free (seitan) chicken on the menu. As well as breakfasts and even new vegan fried eggs! Sunday roasts as well as pies and cakes too Nothing is too much trouble they will make anything for you if they have the ingredients which is really nice of them. They do frozen meals to take home or a delivery service too. Sarah kindly baked a 🍋 lemon cake 🍰 for my friends birthday as we were having a meal here and I secretly requested it 🤫 which exceeded my expectations it was so light & delicious 😋 and its really easy to get to by bus, yellow or blue tram, car, bike or walking too why not go in or get food delivered by calling up or on deliveroo/just-eat xx

I'm so sorry guys I just hated all the food the only bit I liked was the hot chocolate I just could not eat it. even the mayo was strange ! took a very long time for our food the staff were lovely but I don't agree with letting a dog into the premises surly that's not good for health and safety and petting the dog and trying to reassure us that you would both wash your hands I felt it was very odd. it had a homely atmosphere but also very quiet not even a bit of background music

What a lovely place. Dinah (the resident dog) is absolutely adorable and gave us an enthusiastic greeting. We tried the breakfast burritos and they were packed with flavour (and with texture, which as a meat-eater is something I sometimes miss when I eat non-meaty food). The vegan nature of the place was front and centre without me feeling unwelcome, the price to quality ratio was excellent, there were so many items on the menu we'd have liked to have tried- and the lady who runs the place is lovely. We were chatting to her before we left and she brought out some CFC 'chicken' with garlic mayo for us to try- delicious and ingenious. Deserves to do very well and to be better known.

I'd give this place a ten if i could!! Food is absolutely gorgeous and Sarah and her staff are so lovely, we left feeling like we'd made new friends!! Also Sarahs puppydog Dinah is the most perfect little girl and i love her!! DEFINITELY GO EAT HERE!!

Pretty much great all around. Portion sizes, quality, service and preparation time are down to a tee.

Sarah was lovely, food was great, came very quickly. Love it!!! had been wanting to try here for ages but never down that way of town but decided to order it online! will deffo be ordering again

Beautifully prepared wholesome healthy food lovingly prepared n served by Sarah and her fab staff. Covers all bases this cafe. Vegan or not eat here it's great.
