Spent four days here, overall very good. The staff, especially Shirelle were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The big letdown was the restaurant, we were half board, out of the seven meals we had we had too send the food back six meal times for being cold mostly. Nita

The best hot breakfast sandwich cafe in the area - good always hot and so tasty without all the grease you get at some cafes

Was incredibly happy to find out that Sunny Side Up is still open for takeaways and deliveries. Bought a few sandwiches and hot drinks and a Breakfast Family Feast (BFF) for my colleagues and I, which consists of 6 bacon, 6 sausages, 4 eggs, 4 hash browns, 4 slices of toast, 4 black puddings, mushrooms, beans and tinned tomatoes! The breakfast and sandwiches were a delight and will be back for more! Great service as usual and they have done an amazing job of maintaining the social distance rules. Can’t wait for my next BFF already!

Usually good food from here but standards seem to be slipping. Today toast seems to have missed the toaster.

As a coeliac I find it really hard to find a café that does tasty gluten free dishes but this café has a great variety of just that. I was torn between the homemade soup (which is also gluten free!) and the GF breakfast. I went for the breakfast and had a cup of soup to go! The sausages on the breakfast were delicious and the soup was perfect! My boyfriend had the toad in the hole breakfast and he would not stop going on about how amazing it was! To top it off, the staff were so helpful and friendly! Safe to say we will be visiting again...and again!

I had the vegetarian breakfast which has the best veggie sausages I've ever had! Everything is fresh and not greasy at all. The whole place has a lovely feel and everything is kept very clean. The staff were also lovely and very chatty. A great find!

I called in today by chance and so glad that I did the food and service were both excellent will be going back on a regular basis. I must say that the owner was very friendly and her home made soup was fantastic. The place was very clean and the food on other tables looked great. Roll on next Wednesday so I can go again.

Visited twice to the Sunnyside up cafe, the first experience was some what of a shock as not what you expect from a cafe on an industrial park, hidden away from the high street or main shopping area. The food was amazing, myself and my husband both had a full english. We couldn't fault it one bit. The service was great, the ladies were so welcoming and warming to us. The breakfast was lovely not greasy at all, lovely and fresh. On my second return i went by myself with my baby, even though of the positioning was still welcomed and offered a high chair which was lovely and i sat and had a breakfast and the ladies chatted to me and made me feel at ease of being on my own. I would definatly reccommend people finding this hidden gem! The prices for the quality you get can't be beaten!!! Will be returning again very soon.

They say that if you stand outside this pub you can see four others. I tried this and could see only three. Maybe this is the fourth? Anyway, popped in here for a couple on a Sunday night. Decent enough pub, seemed quite lively. The beer was Cruzcampo, from Luton. Lots of people in, but table to be had. Overall worth a visit for a pint or two. Not much to add. Try their new beers!

I just wanted to leave a review to show my immense appreciation for the hard work the Albion put into Remembrance Day this year. What a great pub that went above and beyond for all who served, serving and those who wanted to show their respect. The Albion had a wonderful poppy arch inside the pub, were stocked up with pin badges, poppies, lanyards etc. I extend my thanks for allowing me to stand outside with my trike and proudly wear my medals for folks to come and donate to the appeal. On the day there was food put on for everyone and a free drink for military personnel. The pub was warm and inviting, there was people from all walks of life celebrating and enjoying the hospitality shown. Well done to all involved in pulling off a spectacular day to remember. You really are doing a fantastic job with this once unloved pub. You all have brought such joy back to Rugeley. It’s wonderful to see the veterans using the pub and donating to the military wall for everyone to see.
