Sunflower Chinese & Singaporean Takeaway in Canterbury

Mediocre food that they managed to get wrong. Even after ringing up to say something wasn't sent they wouldn't send out another which is pretty poor and meant my wife had barely anything to eat. Not that it matters, most of it went in the bin anyway as it was fairly bland and quite dry.

Gone downhill since new owners took over,the chicken chow mein was really dry and tasteless,only found about 4 bits of chicken in it,egg fried rice dry as anything,won't be going back

Fantastic food, we order from them every week. Really reasonable prices and some lovely new dishes we have tried.

Really tasty food, not normally a Chinese take out fan, but my family enjoy. I would love to eat from here again. It was really good.

Very tasty, good service, highly recommend. It is just around the corner for us so also conveniently positioned.

This is a fab Chinese takeaway all cooked fresh always hot and very tasty.I have been going here for years and my family always want food from here when they come over.please give it a go .

I have been eating from the sunflower since it opened many moons ago, ordering anything from chips and curry sauce to orders that will feed a party of over 30, I have never once had a problem with the quality or service and I can’t recommend this place highly enough, simply Devine

We've been getting takeaway from Sunflower since we moved to the area 5 years ago. They're a friendly family run business, the food has always been excellent, and they're normally quick to have it ready. Portion sizes are good.

This restaurant is great! Food is always delicious. If you ring an order through it is always ready and still not when you get home!

Use sunflower every so often and for a Chinese it's quite consistent. Very quick and lovely people. Portion sizes are fair but value is very good. Only complaint I had a change from curry tonight to chow mein and I was a little underwhelmed at the flavour. But I would definitely recommend.

We have been coming here on a regular basis and have had many dishes and i can say that the quality rarely ever slips with this takeaway, the food is consistently good as is the service from the staff. The staff work very hard and deserve a great deal of recognition for all their effort, the portions are about right and the prices are also about right too. If i were to make a suggestion i would say a little more meat in the rice and noodle dishes, other than that the Sunflower Chinese&Singaporean Takeaway is a great place to dine.

I ordered satay chicken and 80% of it was onions / bean sprouts & peppers! The sauce was watery too. Won't be returning to this one.

Excellent food, ready when stated. Would recommend to anyone. They don't deliver but this keeps the prices low.

fab food, lovely staff, hot and well packed, be warned this take away gets very busy and you may have to wait a while but well worth it

Wife picked up a takeaway on her way home from work we have often used the chip shop a few doors down and there food is fantastic so tonight for a treat we had Chinese MISTAKE!!! Food was awful asked for special fried rice got egg fried rice spare ribs had little or no meat on them Chinese roast pork was fowl covered in a really tangy sauce and 6 pieces of pork the rest of the dish was made up of beansprouts chicken balls were ok and sweet and sour sauce was ok but after spending £23 and not eating most of the food sorry to say very disappointed.......

Again average take away, try and avoid this one not so much because the food is crap, which it isnt , its mediocre, i dont like being ripped off, when I say this they always charge you for using you Debit card and im sure this is not correct, Credit card yes, Debit card no, I have askec thrm the question but im the one that is wrong, so for thst reason I avoid it, also they never give you a receipt when you pay, it just annoys me.

I've been using Sunflower for ages now, the food is always excellent, the staff are friendly as well. I have never had to wait long to be served and is normally good on busy nights.
