Since the new owners have taken over there has been a massive improvement with the garden and inside. The staff as always are very welcoming and friendly and food is of an excellent standard with a good choice range too.

Fabulous food - definitely recommend the lamb rump on the specials board. The food is definitely cooked to order so there is a little wait but not too long. Donna & Andrew are so friendly and a great atmosphere in the pub. Dogs are allowed in the bar area too which is an extra bonus. Thank you

Sunday lunch is always delicious, we visit most Sundays and never had a bad meal, my only criticism is the gravy could be a bit thicker but suppose thats just a personal preference.

Had a lovely afternoon at the summerhouse with family. Attended for a carvery, the food did not disappoint, excellent quality, vegetables were fresh, generous amount of meat and all for £11.99 you cannot go wrong. The staff were very attentive, a warm welcoming atmosphere and to top it off the dessert was delicious! Highly Recommended!

Fabulous bank holiday weekend, brilliant live music, food was excellent and the outdoor seating area perfect. Plenty of staff running around and everyone happy to be there. Price of food good, especially the Sunday carvery and choices. Thanks for a really good day… not even the windy weather deterred us. We will be back. Highly recommend!

We went for some lunch on a Saturday, I did pre book the table just incase, but seemed there was plenty availability when we arrived. Staff where very friendly and welcoming, nice relaxed atmosphere. This is our 3rd visit here and we have no complaints. I never left any reviews previously but I would highly reccomend the Sunday lunch too!. Food on our Saturday visit was very enjoyable, 3 of our group enjoyed the hunters chicken and 1 member had the chicken fillet burger, no complaints here. Puddings where very good too. All in all 10/10 and we will definitely be back.

Popped in for lunch on Saturday afternoon. A pleasant atmosphere, if a little quiet, and service with a smile from Danielle. Food was decent 'pub grub' and the beer was good. Overall, a good choice for a casual meal out 👍

Quality of food was very good and well presented.Had light bite meals and there was plenty on plates. Didn't have to wait long for meals, around 15 minutes which is very good for a Saturday evening. Will definitely go again and recommend.

Another evening meal but on a weekend with my hubby and the inlaws. Asked for a table near to the conservatory entrance and wasn't disappointed (table 3). Food amazing as always. Attention to detail was second to none. Kev even spoke to the chef who was so attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Visited today with my Mom & Dad. Staff were all really friendly, the waitress who served us it was her first day she made us feel really welcome & was so friendly and helpful I had the Tandoori Hanging Kebab from the specials board which was absolutely beautiful, the meat was so succulent, really enjoyed it. My Dad had Grilled Cod Fillet from the specials board which looked amazing, he ate everything on his plate & said it was a lovely tasty meal Well done everyone at the Summerhouse 🙂

Had lunch here the other day. When l walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. Beautifully presented. Food was amazing and very fast. The staff were smiling and attentive and eager to please. Rachel one of the bar staff couldn’t do enough. Always smiling and accommodating. That’s customer service. I’ll definitely be back with family and friends.

A lovely, warm and cosy pub. My partner and I called in for a drink on Saturday afternoon and found Andy and Donna to be very welcoming hosts. A bonus was that the pub is dog friendly, our little Bonnie girl was able to have a drink from the water bowls provided and even little doggie treats from the bar. This was our first visit today , we were looking for a pub with a Sunday carvery, a separate child's menu and it had to be dog friendly.I am delighted to say the Summer House ticked every box.The carvery was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful in advising me of my gluten free options.My young grandchildren were delighted with the choices on their own menu, and there is an additional adult menu for those not wanting a carvery.Our dog was also made to feel very welcome.This is a lovely pub with a great atmosphere and some very friendly and helpful staff.I would definitely recommend it.
