very very quiet, we were the only ones there, small building with seating area outside. amazing sandwich like any other subway.

Well .... After reading through all the reviews for the Shrewsbury town centre branch of Subway, I'm totally disgusted by what I've been reading about the attitude of the staff to most customers and the way they serve the food, sometimes (or is it every time?) with dirty or contaminated gloves!! I've decided not to bother to even walk into the shop. I was was going to pay for a substantial order! I wonder how many more have walked out or straight past? I think someone higher up in the chain needs to go in and sort things out. It can't be making a profit with the rude attitude of the staff! I won't even bother to go there now.

The food was fine, but the staff are quite rude here, and as I got a drink with my meal it tasted like nothing so I told them and they were very rude, I strongly recommend you don't eat here.

Dine in | Breakfast | £1–10 I visited Subway Battlefield Shrewsbury on the morning of the 13th of January where i had a foot long breakfast roll it didn't seem to be that hot but thought nothing of it at the time as i watched them put in the oven that was the only thing i had to eat for the rest of the day i had to go to Carlisle that night starting at 00,00 on the way back down to shrewsbury on the Sunday the journey took forever i became very ill my stomach became very painful eventually i got home i went straight to bed due to the pains i had numerous visits to the toilet day & night didn't sleep much at all didn't eat anything for over 5 days i contacted my doctors as i didn't k

Old lady was very rude and the young guy couldnt wrap the subway properly. Workers taking up the seats.

Order delivery was pushed back several times, when it arrived the sandwich was cold.

Food was cold, bread rock hard couldn’t eat it

I went into this branch today, order the big breakwich and requested for no egg, they told me that they would have to charge me to take the egg off? this has never been an issue before and then they proceeded to put the egg on anyway underneath everything else so it melted into the entire sandwich, they also put extra egg on the sandwich

Nobody makes a Tuna sub as good, not even me. Meal arrived bang on time with everything delicious as usual

One of the worst service I ever experienced since I became a subway customer in the year 2005. The lady who was at the counter today @ 2:10pm was not at all professional. She was not bothered to provide a good service. Also she refused to add the sauce which I requested for my foot long BMT. I felt she is stubborn, rude and discriminating. I prefer going to Meole Brace(love their service) or Battlefield to get my Sub. Never to this outlet again

Items missing or incorrect. Contacted customer services three time and had a the worse service I have experienced. Refused refund only credit (which I still can’t see) . When asked for proof that I requested credit customer service chats are cut short and very rudely. I will be taking this up further.

Finally, when we inquired about the availability of hash browns, we were met with a refusal due to apparent time constraints. It is disappointing that such a simple request could not be accommodated, especially when Subway's menu typically includes a variety of items that should be readily available during their operating hours. In conclusion, my experience at the Subway in Shrewsbury Town Centre on October 5th, 2023, was abysmal. If this Subway is indeed a franchise, as many are, it is imperative that both the franchisee and their staff are held accountable for maintaining consistent quality and customer service. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this particular Subway location, nor will I recommend it to others, especially the local college students with whom my daughter is acquainted. It is my hope that by sharing this review, potential customers will be better informed and consider alternative dining options that prioritise customer satisfaction and food safety. In light of these issues, I can only give this Subway location one star, and I strongly advise others to avoid it at all costs.

"I visited Subway today at 15:30, and I must say, I was quite disappointed with the service provided by the elderly lady behind the counter. This is the third time this has happened, where she placed my wrap directly on the counter without placing it in the paper underneath. What bothered me even more was that she seemed to prioritize serving others who came after me. It's important that all customers receive the same level of service, regardless of their background. I hope this issue can be addressed for a more pleasant dining experience."

just had the rudest most awful experience the staff were rushing us out bare in mind it was 4:49 and they close at 6 but as it seemed they we already closing down, complaining when more people entered and not to mention they wouldn’t take cash because they had already counted the tills and her words not mine ‘I ain’t counting that bloody till again’ actually appalled this old crone can even speak like this, on numerous occasions she’s been disrespectful and began the closing process early she needs teaching respect at her old age. 02/10/2023

Decided to call in to grab lunch on the go. Member of staff seemed very inconvenienced by me. I was ordering a veggie option and a meat option but at no point did she change the gloves after handling the meat before going back to the veggie option. Also kept coughing, again no glove change despite this. Over £10 for two subs. Absolutely not worth it. Should have gone to tesco for a meal deal.

The quilts of food is going down with subway meatballs we’re wrong for a start and with the prices they charge for delivery is just ridiculously you’d expect better we deserve better.

Staff were incredibly rude. When I queried something, they made no attempt to resolve a simple situation and just made the whole atmosphere feel so tense. They massively affected the day of myself and those who accompanied me. I would not recommend for the lack of staff friendliness and unease that was provided. If wanting to go to a Subway in Shrewsbury, go to the one closer to the Quarry instead.

Last few times I’ve been in, food is fine but the customer service is awful. Really rude and blunt.

Ordered at 12:50 and arrived at 14.46pm almost 2 hours after ordering

Ok but quite slow even when you're the only customer. Food is exactly what you expect from a Subway. There's a small indoor seating area and more seating outside.

The food arrived was totally wrong. The man on the phone refused to do anything about it. I’ve never eaten beef in my life and was presented with meat balls. Was utterly freezing and all wrong. £29 and we had the food all messed up, no food and no refund. Do not use this subway.

Absolutely horrendous. I had to wait 2 hours and then I did not receive my order and I could see that it was delivered to someone else down road from me. I'm never using Just Eat ever again. It's happened four times where I've not received an order. Drivers obviously don't care that they are delivering to correct address (and other people are obviously woefully dishonest). It's a shame that you have lost 2 customers in me and my partner forever now and of course we won't say positive things to others. Perhaps you should have a system where you vet your delivery drivers more or something or have a system where they have to check address they are delivering to.

Food cold over an hour late driver didn’t speak English so no hope

3.5 Hours since ordering , food was ice cold

Order was initially due to be delivered between 1620 and 1640. No contact/updates given during this period. Logged on and ETA kept changing to 1650 to 1710, then 1715 to 1725 and then 1725 to 1735. Attempted to contact the Restaurant to cancel the order, at first there was no answer and then the second time we were told to direct the request to JustEat. All in all a very poor experience

there was no knock at the door and the food was just left on the doorstep and it arrived cold. terrible service and ruined food.

Everything was good except for the fact that my sub wasn't toasted, aside from that everything was pretty good

The order arrived over 30 mins later than initially expected. It took 50 mins from ordering for a driver to be available to collect the food. Delivery was advertised as within 25-30 mins. The order was correct but the sandwich was cold by the time it arrived. I'm usually happy with the service but today's was very disappointing.

Struggling with the card machine the server was being patient with us. The manager on the other hand said to the staff member "you've got to let them know, quicker quicker" whilst snapping her fingers in their face! Rudest manager I've ever experienced. People don't quit jobs, they quit managers. Vile service especially in front of a customer. Feel so sorry for the server

Food was lovely however who I'm assuming was the manager was so rude to her staff, clicking in their face and demanding they work faster. My friend was trying to pay on the card machine and the 'manager' was yet again having ago at the lad working there saying he needs to explain how to use it... Like we don't know how to use a card machine. She also shouted at my friend's if they were paying together and got so moody with us. I think she needs to learn some manners.

Food was half a hour late clearly had been sat around as everything was freezing cold and the meatballs where burnt and black?! Not one item in the order is edible! Sauce missing from the potato crispers wrong salad on footlong all cold and soggy will not order again!!

Sweet chilli dip leaked a little bit but that's expected, food was great as always otherwise. Delivery driver was a little grumpy when he answered the door, didn't say anything just grunted a couple times.

Every Friday Evening-although it is a bit embarrassing to admit me and the boys hit the streets,and head straight to subway for a slap up meal.While the food is t the greatest when you try and get complicated,I think anybody can appreciate a good 6 inch.Ever since the Great Depression I’ve longed a warm subway and after 30 years,we finally achieved the American dream.God Bless all of you.

Well my sandwich fell apart on the plate and ended up eating the majority of it with a fork, but it was still really nice.

The staff obviously don’t want you in there as they throw your sandwich together as quickly as they possible can (which leads to it being a broken up mess) and I think a certain member of staffs attitude has rubbed off on the rest.not great at all. And hasn’t been for a few years now. In the past I have heard oh for f@&k sake said from the back room as I have walked into the store and a member of staff has walked out with a face on them as if you are an inconvenience. Also heard other members of staff have attitude with other customers.

Rudest lady in the entire hospitality industry of Shropshire, she’s never changed over the years always serving the sub with a grump!! My order was missing a sandwich filling and had the wrong crisps in unfortunately.

I had a steak melt 12" it was chucked together I could not peel it from it from the paper it was served on. One mouthfull and tasted like water in the bin it went as for the person that served me he needs to get another job VERY DISSATISFIED

Very poor service at 1200 at subway in shrewsbury Town centre today. Initially I was the only customer in the shop. A girl was stood at the till and totally ignored me! After approx 1 min she asked what I'd like, she appeared very flustered and was short and sharp with her comments and very un welcoming. She threw a sandwich together with no apparent care and then rudely said "can you pay". I told her she appeared stressed and she replied that she had a huge order to fill. At all times I felt that I was not wanted in the place and my custom was a huge inconvenience. I could see the full extent of her lack of care when I later unwrapped my sandwich, there was more filling outside of the bread than in it. I feel for the girl if she was on her own and under pressure, however, this is not my fault. Very dissapionting experience, i would not recommend this branch of Subway.

These drivers a terrible! They can’t find the address and can’t be bothered to ring for directions so they decided to leave it elsewhere but the correct address!!! Shameful

The hash browns were freeeezing unfortunately

When the order arrived they had packed the wrong crisps. Both of our subways were without cheese and one had spicy chilli sauce on when I only ordered mayo. Super disappointed.
