Gross, dirty and guy rolled his eyes with every choice I made. Won’t be going back here

I have coeliacs and struggle to find food that I can eat. Most subway locations are clean and well kept, and all know a lot about allergies. However I went into this one today and was shocked at the state. When I began my order, I had to tell him to change his gloves and when selecting foods, the eggs were in little packets, but food was all over the packets and he opened them with the same gloves. However when he had got it open he let it fall onto the GF bread rather than touching it. He then changed gloves and put bacon into my order. I wanted cheese but it was covered in a mix of other foods that I couldn't risk. So he offered me the vegetarian cheese which was clean. Once toasted I asked for a bit of light mayo. As its listed as GF. When he picked up the sauce container it was contaminated with other sauces so I declined this. All foods were mixed and contaminated with other foods, he did not wipe the sides down before starting my order. All in all I am shocked that it was in this state as it was not busy. Myself and one other customer. Staff had just been leaning up against the counter on our entrance to the store. I shall not be going here again

Thats the worst subway in the town. Wanted to order a saver meal but the guy had no idea. Then i ordered a garlic cheese steak, and fortunately i was watching, he was giving chicken instead of beef. Again, he mentioned they dont have the sauce! What do you mean no sauce? And cant believe i paid for that! Horrible experience. And the environment was dirty.

Paid for 2 x cookie only receive one, paid for a foot long cheese garlic slice and got a 6 inch. Paid for pigs in blanket and the order turned up with no pigs in blanket but a bag of wedges in a replacement but I would have wanted a refund. I want to be refunded for my order that is missing/incorrect

The server tried to charge me more and barely filled the sandwich.

Two tomatoes, barely any lettuce and charged £4. The bread is tiny and squashed. Do yourself a favour and head over to Tescos nearby and get a meal deal instead.

After entering this place I found out that they only prefer cash. Weird. It was dirty inside, even though it was early in the morning. I ordered takeout. The food didn't taste or look like it should. Waste of money. This place deserves a 0 rating

Food awful, minimal salad, hardly toasted, wish i took a picture to share. Didn’t have what we wanted, and then I chose from the set menu and didn’t get what i ordered which i was annoyed about. The server did a quick job and walked out the back. Burnt cookie. Overall not impressed at all. Should have just walked up the road to the other one.

Could not have worked slower if he tried, I appreciate he was on his own but he wasn't even trying.

Sat 25 November: AWFUL SUBWAY. I always notice this Subway is more quiet than the other food shops on Union Street so thought I'd go in for some peace and quiet. This is where the good things end. The restruant tables clearly HAD NOT been wiped down since brefaskt time. (It was about 12 when I went in) and to top if off THE BOTTLED BEVERGE FRIDGE WAS OFF/BROKEN! So my drink was awfully warm. Why didn't they warn me about that or I would have opted for a cup dispenser drink instead.

It is a wonderful place for whom who would like eat healthy food or who is health conscious

I mean the foods fine but how can you mess up a simple order so badly through Deliveroo… the order is right there for you to read. I ordered a footlong and got a six inch, not checking if the side was in stock before accepting order so told me to just claim through Deliveroo. Have some bare minimum pride in your work.

The worst dining experience of my life. The so called sandwich ‘artist’ was careless and showed no desire to give me and my friend a decent sandwich. The toppings were slopped on top of the bread in no orderly fashion and my footlong didn’t even come sliced in half. She was really moody as well. Avoid this place like the plague!

We had a terrible experience at this place .. The salad given was terrible And poorly made ..almost filthy looking .. The waitress asked £1.49 for a glass of tap water.. Both the staff and the manager were extremely rude.. Weird people , bad experience!!

When you spend £7.29 on a sandwich surely you can let me choose my salads choosing. No need to be stingy, live a little

Waited 5 minutes for the guy to be done with someone’s order and when he was done he took the order from the people behind us in the queue.

Einfach nur Schlecht, schlechte Mitarbeiter und unhöflich und schlechter Service. Sie meinten das man sich nicht in den vorderen Teil des Geschäftes Sätzen darf. Weil der anscheinend gesperrt ist. Dabei saßen dorz die ganze zeit zwei Mitarbeiter in dem Bereich. Und haben nichts gemacht. Außerdem wurde die Bestellung komplett falsch aufgenommen.

The mega melt breakfast was terrible. The bread was over cooked and the egg was overcooked and like rubber.

Haven't been on this site for a while, today's visit was poor. Only the manager was doing a good job but the other two staff looks like they Haven't got a clue of what they're doing. I asked for condiments but the lady server said there was none, when I repeated myself and asked for a spoon, she gave me a fork. Ordered hot chocolate but completely missed on my order, they didn't gave my receipt too. It was busy when we came but that shouldn't be an excuse, looks like they're just rushing every customer and get rid of the queue as soon as possible. I won't be coming back to this site again.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY, awful what people will do when they get paid first without caring about what they serve when you're not there! Ordered a footlong wasnt even cut, ingrediants all scattered and messy , bread all broken from every side and they didn't even toast the steak and cheese, found a big piece of pepper SKIN in there, yes skin, just THE skin!! and paid for extra cheese didn't get it, ALSO ORDERED A COOKIE DID NOT GET IT. What a rip off!! Spent £20 and totally wasted. Never ordering again from them.

Worst experience of any subway I’ve ever been to. I’d give 0 stars if I could. They tried ried to charge me £15 for two 6 inch subs and refused to accept that it was actually a footlong! I was so stunned I just left my food and walked out.

This Subway serves good food as most of them do but here I found members of staff willing to go the EXTRA MILE. Friendly and enjoyable to talk to; we had a chat with the manager about their services; I will definitely be back in no time.😁

Absolutely terrible service. Staff was rude and impatient. Not so sure if it's normal to have the lettuce and onions wrapping around the bread.

Went into this Subway this evening after having a bad experience in the Subway on Victoria street, my partner ordered a meatless marina salad, the staff were friendly and attentive and were very happy to serve us. The store was immaculately clean also! Probably one of the best subways in Bristol!

Tuna Salad wasn't fresh and tasteless. Also they had no cutlery. So I asked "How am I supposed to eat the salad" Eventually she found me a SPOON !! VERY DISAPPOINTING as I was so hungry at the time. I would not recommend.

Server was stingy with meat and veg, basically just ate bread.

The store was very clean and the staff is very friendly. I was served quickly and there were quantities of every ingredient I wanted to add. I had a chicken teriyaki Italian footlong with pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion and honey mustard sauce. The footlong was generously filled as you can see in the pictures. Delicious!

I wish I read the reviews on their website before ordering. They really do mess your order up. When I called to find out if I had been charged extra, the female said "oh my god" huffed and hung the phone up on me. I was sure to ring back and tell her what customer service was that as I was being polite to her on that call she put the phone down. But I wasn't too polite then. This was a treat for my children for working hard all week and the food was like slop covered in too much sauce. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Get staff that want us to enjoy your good not just feel like we are in a Oliver twist movie.

AVOID ORDERING FROM HERE. It's a shame I can't give this less than one star. Our order was spectacularly wrong. We had several missing items, wrong food delivered (we received a non-vegan salad instead of the 6in Sub we had ordered), the hash browns we ordered were inedible and we only received one of the two sets of hash browns we had ordered (which was probably for the best as they were vile). Not one item that we ordered was correct. On top of all of this, the food was stone cold when it arrived. Unfortunately we did not realise the full extent of the errors when requesting a refund so we only received a partial refund. I would highly recommend NEVER ordering from here via Deliveroo, Uber Eats or any delivery service unless you want a fudged up order of incorrect and disgusting food,

Understandably there was only one person serving. Didn't have the tiger bread for the sub I wanted but otherwise ok.

As I've entered the shop I was asked by a bloke behind tills to wait 5 min and he started putting drinks to the fridge. Meanwhile a girl "working" on the phone complaining about her job... After 5 min girl attended me and proceeded to prepare my footlong steak & cheese using HALF amount of filling comparing to other shops... Waste of time and money. Felt unwelcome and had to look at employees frustrated faces...

Very friendly staff well worth a visit..

Went into this branch today and was disappointed with the service, from one staff member in-particular. When we got there we showed the guy on the till our UniDays code and said that was fine to use and he was nice throughout our experience. So we ordered what we wanted and when it came to paying the lady in that day, couldn't get her name since she had no name badge on, said we couldn't use that code. This would have been fine but she had a very rude tone and put us right off this branch. She then reluctantly used the code but failed to give us a drink each which was part of the deal on UniDays. Disappointed in the level of service today and another thing there was no onions on this day, even though there is a photo of some onions on the wall and to replace the onion was sweetcorn which doesn't seem a good swap...

This review is for subway in the galleries Bristol. Tried to order the vegan meatballs. Both staff on duty didn't understand what the word vegan meant and repeatedly tried to dispense the usual mixed meat balls. If I hadn't spotted their careless, ignorant behaviour they would have served me meat!! Very offensive attitude when I pointed out that they were the non vegan ones. They just shrugged and smirked at each other! NOT VEGI FRIENDLY!!!

Came there many times - never crowded, very fast service and friendly staff. Would come there again soon.

Cleaner with more professional staff than the outlet at Montague Street - all coupons went through fine so far, at a swift rate. Moderately hygienic drink dispenser. No electronic menu flashing you dizzy either. Staff tried their best speaking English, and it was understandable. If only they would put up identifying labels for the 'festive cookies' at the cookie shelf.

Furniture left in middle of floor for customers to trip over, no one tidying up messy areas. Lazy lot don't go here.

The fact that this branch states online that it's wheelchair accessible when it is not,is disgusting. There is a step to get in. Appaling that such a massive company cannot make it accessible. Shame on you. Never again with Subway for me.

The lady who served me was super rude for absolutely no reason whatsoever, she didn't change her gloves when handling the vegetarian food then persisted to throw the lettuce back into the pot that had touched the meat in my boyfriends sandwich. Never had service so awful with any sort of fast food/restaurant place!! Not usually one to leave reviews either but thought it was definitely something worth mentioning

Absolutely disgusting, brown lettuce and rock hard stale bread. I have been a customer at Subway for years. I even complained and the did nothing. Waste if money. I will never eat at Subway again. Do not eat here if you like old food and food poisoning. Awful.

This location especially has some exceptional staff, we always try to visit here when in Bristol needing an easy family lunch on days out.

One over worked member of staff coping best she could with shop full of people took a long time to get served not the place to go if you only have a short break management are to blame the server should get a pay rise they're working her to hard they should be ashamed of themselves

Food is fresh Just the hygiene is terrible. The lady on the till, with loose hairs and nails serving food with dirty plastic trays, which they not cleaning after someone use them. What a shame.

There's this woman named Iolnanda wich cheats when giving the change and is very rude and salty. Food is great but this woman makes eating there pretty unpleasant.

Se detuvo en Sub Way por un momento antes de ir al cine Odeon.El personal era amable, acogedor y eficiente. La comida era buena como siempre, la tienda estaba limpia y ordenada.No hay quejas reales.Sería útil si proporcionara algún tipo de toallitas desechables para las manos para que los clientes puedan limpiarse las manos, ya que las manos pueden volverse pegajosas debido a algunas de las salsas.Aparte de eso, una gran sub tienda!

My first subway it tasted really nice.

Nice place compared to some of the other subways in Bristol the service is quite quick and the staff are always friendly and the price's are very reasonable.

We called in here for a quick bite. The two ladies working here were superb. They dealt with a very noisy customer politely and were cheerful and chatty the whole time. Good sized portions and clean inside. A pleasure to visit.

Was awful my son was asked what sauce he woukd like on his sub so he asked for ketchup and was given garlic mayo and then they wouldn't even sort it out or replace the order he's only 10 will never go into that place again

Went at 10pm on a Friday night after coming across the country to get to Bristol. Was told we could not eat-in since they were closing soon. The door said they close at 11pm. Absolutely ridiculous, the employees made my family as if we were putting them out. Would love to hear from the manager or owner.
