staff don't listen of what your order. some of them are rude as well like I order at 9:30 pm when I get the food at 9:45 he said only take away which i told him I am going to dine in. chicken hardly has souce on it.

I recently ordered from Pepes and had a very frustrating experience. I was really looking forward to enjoying my meal, but it took them over an hour to deliver my food. I understand that sometimes things can get busy, but waiting that long is unacceptable. It felt like my order was completely forgotten, and I was left feeling disappointed and hungry. The lack of communication from the restaurant only added to my frustration. Overall, the service was not up to par, and I can't say I would recommend them based on this experience. One star is all I can give.

Out of all the pepes this one is a let down! Watered down sauce ...bland rice and very cheap om the portions when comes to chicken In the chicken and rice. Defo gone down hill over there years compared to other pepes

Got chicken and rice mild and it gave me an upset stomach the chicken was dry and dis not seem fresh.

By far the worst service I seen. Absolutely rubbish. Received my order with missing items in my order and the srvs is very poor. The manager was very rude and his trainee that took the order also lied about the order gave the wrong items and did not fulfill the order. Do not order from here! They are liars and don't expect good food or service. My order came to £50 and they had missed items and did not fulfill the order. Nor give me a refund.

I ordered chicken and rice, a menu item recommended by Uber Eats. Even though I used coarse rice, which I don't prefer, it came out better cooked than I expected. I ordered mild, and it seemed to be really well controlled, with a slight spicy flavor. The staff were also really friendly, so I was able to order with ease. The seasoned French fries were also really delicious.

One of my rice box’s is missing. I called the shop the worker on the phone said that there was no food left spare. He then said to go through just eats which don’t help as this was my dinner. He was unhelpful. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS PEPES AGAIN. Will have to spend more money on food and have to wait longer due to the workers not being able to do their job properly.

First time ordering and last. The chicken fajita wrap was cold, the 'peri peri' fries had barely any taste at all. The chicken and rice box was average. My garlic mayo spilt everywhere.

Food was good as always, wait was a bit long though and mom didn't like having a speaker right over the booth

Lovely hot food but chicken a bit well done this time.

For a fast food joint , it deserves a 5 🌟. Piri Piri chicken is not far off Nandos quality for much cheaper. Piri’s Baked beans is an absolute must - delicious stuff. Their quesadillas are also really good for £3. Simple excellent comfort food Edited : they've been taking the piss recently since the old manager left 25 mins for 1 quesadilla when they only have 4 customers like seriously ? Fast food ? The staff are working at a snail's pace the service here is ridiculous .

They didnt deliver the food to my address it said it was delivered which it wasnt so i called the restaurant they said to ring just eat for a refund but i never recieved a refund

I went into the store and placed my order where I was told 15, so I waited, then 15 minutes went, and 10 more and there was a uber picking up and he got fed up with waiting as well there are 2 lads making the pizza they do more talking than anything they only work at one pace so if you don't mind the waiting then that's OK but 25 to 30 minutes for a pizza is ridiculous I won't go there again and I won't place an order online either because it would be cold its not the delivery guys fault he has to waite what an experience

Food was an average and I founded 2 items were missing in my order. I called to the store at Sally oak and talk with Mr. Hamza. As I told him about the missing items, he roudly said that he is not responsible for that as he didn't packed your order, go and call to uber. He behaved very roudly and irresponsible. I said that I will complaint about his behaviour. He said me go ahead. This was my first order and really it's very bad experience.

I ordered my food at 7:00, I called the restaurant to let them know not to put mayonnaise in the burger as my son is allergic they said there was nothing they could do and the food was already on the way 45 mins later still no food,bare in mind its a 10 min drive if that, eventually it arrived at 8.20 pm freezing cold and my sons burger full of mayo so that went in the bin, spent £45 overall... Never again!!!! The man who answered the phone was an idiot and needs to work on his customer service

I want my refund ASAP I told the driver the instructions of where my house was if he looked at the numbers instead of just driving all the way to top he would of seen the house, then decides to pass he’s phone on to a bunch of kids telling them my door number and where I live, all while I’m still on the phone trying to direct him to my house. Instead of getting in the car he decided to walk back down the road wasting more minutes then when he gets to me I asked him’ is my food cold ? He said it might be cause I’ve been walking round up the top of the road My food is stone cold. I’ve just gone to the shop and they said to get the refund back from yourselves.

This pepes is stringy. It was good but somewhere in 2023 they started becoming stingy. The chicken used the be juicy and full of sauce, but now they just put just enough to get away with it. For some reason this pepes extra hot is just normal in other pepes. I live near this pepes but rather drive to a different one.

Nice tasting food, portion size used to be banging last year, now the wings are a bit small, they know this so they give you an extra wing.

Original delivery time given was 8.40pm. Then at 8.50pm it changed to 9.25pm. When we rang the restaurant they said it was ready and waiting on the driver, this was at 8.50pm. Our food was delivered at 9.25pm. And food was literally stone cold. Clearly had been sat waiting for the driver and not made fresh. Very disappointed and will not be ordering again.

I ordered chicken rice (hot) but it was very bad in taste because there was no sauce on it. It was like plain yellow rice with chicken. I didn't expect from such a respected restaurant.

first and last time at this branch, Staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I waited over 30 minutes for my food while it was sat there collecting dust, had to ask staff if my order was ready to which the cashier replied "I don't know there's loads of orders here" Wouldn't recommend, unless you want cold food and to be treated like a beggar

A good place to eat in Selly Oak. The place was clean, the service was fast and respectful and the food was good. It's a good choice for my Muslim friends since the place serves halal food. It also has vegetarian options.

Best food in whole uk. Good spicy and flavour, unlike bland british food. Dont ever try fish and chips, you ll die of depression caused by it.

I Love the Chicken served by Pepe’s , the juiciness and Tenderness of chicken is way too good. I’d recommend to try this once in your life. Even though they take 10-15 minutes to process your order, it’s still worth the wait.

Food is good but you cannot advertise as a fast food organisation if it takes 25 - 30 minutes for somebody to receive their order. Employ more staff or advertise as a restaurant!

Ordered my foot at 19:20 arrived at 20:40 as the shop took so long with the order and they didn’t send all what was ordered disappointed after having too wait so long!!

Great food for a rainy night when I had nothing in the fridge. Tasty, highly calorific and delivered as promised despite the weather! Thanks Pepe’s Bristol Road- ( the best Pepe’s by appointment of our entire household).

First time ordering burritos and fries from Pepe's. The food was tasty, fresh and at the right temperature. The delivery was on time. The only minor dislike is that we've to pay extra for a dip, which I think should be included with the meal. But, overall, really pleased and will be ordering again.

Food was very good. Nice flavour- we chose extra hot. Nice choice for lunch or dinner. The whole chicken meal was good, came nicely presented for eat-in. The disposable cutlery was Eco wooden. Would recommend. Picture shows half extra hot chicken.

I've never had any issues ordering from Pepe's in the past & cannot fault how the food tastes, however was left somewhat disgruntled today, when the delivery driver dropped off the food. In a separate plastic bag was a pepsli & small tub of hot chilli sauce, which unfortunately had leaked in the bag. I hope its just a one off.

Burger was thing as paper. Could hardly taste it, n was not hot ladypool road is much better. This is my last time ordering from this store.

Horrible experience. Ordered for a chicken rice meal and had the worst experience till date. The food was average both in quality and quantity, didn't like the way i was treated by the front staff and list goes on. So lemme save you some time by advising you all to not go there and instead try other places nearby to this piece of garbage.

This is not the first time when I order something and I get some items missing from my order. When I call the restaurant they are apologizing and saying they made a mistake and tell me to ask for a refund If I wanted the money I would've not placed the order, I wanted the product. When I call them to get the problem sorted they send me to just eat.

Ordered via Just eat. Where I selected Additional extras at check out. I paid for those extras. Unfortunately 1hr 30 mins later. The food arrived without the extras. We rang immediately someone answered but did not speak. We could hear the noise from the restaurant but no one responded. We the tried for 20 minutes to re-call. Always engaged, presumably off the hook. We finally reached the after we’d eaten the food. They said it’s an error on the just eat website and refused to refund the money we had paid for those fictional extras, despite that money going directly to the restaurant they wouldn’t give it us back. Chicken was nice. Chips tiny portion and cold. First and last purchase from this place.

When is it going to open again?

I found the postcode was wrong (address info is right)when i have ordered. then i called the restaurant in no time and told the staff this situation and let him change the postcode. The staff in pepe's said he had already noted and wrote down the right place. However. the driver still deliver to the wrong place and refused to deliver to our place. This totally ruined our weekend.

Great chicken and rice! Pleasantly surprised especially considering the affordable price!

Chicken breast was cut in half length ways so was so super super thin. Same price yet half the quality, not even worth it.

I ate in this restaurant back in November 2022. Even though I enjoyed the chic n meal back then, it isn't the same when I ordered it this time. Also the price I think is a little bit expose

This is the second time I've ordered a 1.5 ltr of Tango and got Pepsi. If Tango isn't available, please take it off the menu.
