Subway in Newcastle upon Tyne

Absolute joke of a shop......one day the toasting machine broke, the next day they can't accept cash 🤣....never heard more pathetic excuses in me life. It looked to me like the staff couldn't be bothered to WORK....what they get paid for. Oh and the staff member who was on the phone when i walked through the door, probably didn't like the fact that i disturbed his phone call. Place needs shutting down

Was denied getting extra cheese when I asked. The man said the set sandwich has enough. After trying it, it didn't and could have done with the extra cheese I asked for. Plus, he smelt of BO

Missed half the order off the delivery, useless service

it was fast and friendly. Just their staff didn't update collection status to ready. When arrived, it was ready.

Past 2 days I've visited asked for meatballs apparently there's not enough to make a footlong during the middle of the day, went today and got this looms like they've had a fight with it before giving me it, need to be retrained how to cut bread I think, was the smaller of the 2 girls that made this.. always soemthing wrong or missing with this place

Disgusting food I ordered on Uber food came freezing cold stale and the meat could have passed as rubber

Super stingy on the meat! These sandwiches were poor. Barely any meat in them, just loads of salad. And they charge way too much for that? Not worth it!

No idea how to handle allergies. Rude and disinterested.

Wants closing down. Messed my order up entirely and their bread stank of beer, god only knows who is being hired at this place. Better yet, didn't get a penny of it refunded via uber eats, absolute disgrace.

Only drawback is the step to access the shop is too high and very difficult for people with compromised mobility and obviously impossible for wheelchairs. Owners of Subway build a ramp!

The place is due a refresh, the coffee machine didn't work, it just appears a bit run down, the toasted sandwich was burnt and just didn't seem very nice if i wasn't as hungry i would have just binned it - but was back in the office by that point. When did they stop doing oat and raisin cookies anyhow????

Generous salad unlike some subways....

This shop really needs to sort it out !!! When I ordered a tuna salad in store I asked and paid for extra cheese I got about 10 pieces of grated cheese 😡 then my girlfriend ordered online for the same thing paid extra for cheese and when it arrived there was no cheese in the salad box what so ever absolute disgrace !! I won’t even comment on the shambles of a sandwich I got I wouldn’t even give it to my dog it’s that bad !!! then the staff don’t even have the decency to answer the phone !! We will be coming in the store to speak to the manager then I will be putting a complaint in to head office

I never normally leave reviews but I couldn't not after the encounter I've just had with the young lady Maisie who's just served me at the two ball lonnen branch. She was the most sweetest kindest girl ever absolutely fantastic customer service! She deserves a promotion or something♥️

Didn't have any vegan cheese, cucmber peppers olives or ceasar dressing. Really poor service and disappointing sandwich

My sub came in the wrong bread and wasn’t toasted.

Servers didn't care about what they were doing. Ripped the bread as knife wasn't sharp enough. And said 'oh well' when challenged. Time for another job if you don't care about your customer's!!

A love going to subway to get a sandwich and picking wich one so be heading there on Friday mmmmm

Smells very nice and the food is fresh and delicious it's quick as well just don't order the potato wedges they're very soggy but theres not much sitting in

Went in to grab a quick bite but was busy. So a small wait about 10 minutes from start to finish. Standard subway food so enjoyed it as usual.

Bmt with double meat, on plain Italian with lettuce, red onion, guerkins and honey mustard sauce is the best sandwich ever invented 👍 enjoy

Right on the main road with enough car parking on the side. Lovely staff as well. Have a great offer going on i.e, had a footlong meal deal in 7£ something n that's a gooood price! Nice selection available. Highly recommended.

Nice place to have snack item like wraps

They minimise on the quantity of the toppings. An extra bit of ingredients will not cause the franchise or Subway to go bust but instead it would entice the customer to come in more often.

Nice food, great service. I'd give 5 stars but I think it's misleading to advertise 'pepperoni, salami, ham, pork meatballs' etc when they are all basically Turkey and chicken meat. I understand halal but state it in the menu please. I only know because I asked the right questions.

Delicious reasonably inexpensive lunch.

Just visited subway ( two ball lonnen), tasty food, a helpful young lady served me, very polite she even suggested what sauce to have with my sandwich.

I ordered a meal that came to 17.40 when it came there were two items could not get money back after cancelling

Fui a por una ensalada hoy. Fui allí deliberadamente porque no tenía tanta hambre, y las 2 visitas anteriores que tuve fueron las ensaladas de metro más pequeñas que he tenido. Pero chico, ciertamente batieron ese récord hoy.Me dieron 2 trozos de tomate, 3 rodajas de pepino, un poco de maíz dulce y algunas cebollas.El nuevo entrante ni siquiera llenó la porción de pollo tikka / taza.Definitivamente nunca volveremos.Sé que estas son franquicias. Pero esto debe tener el dueño más codicioso de la ciudad.¡Evita como la peste! ! !

A little inexperienced staff but the sandwiches always taste really good. Also good deals with a drink and a cookie.

I love subway sandwiches are lovely. Only problem o had at this one was the toaster was broken so sandwich was cold making it not as nice but that's a one off. Staff are usually ok. Though seam to go through alot of them

No voy aquí regularmente, principalmente porque el personal parecen pensar que estamos en un sistema de cinta transportadora. No por favor o gracias. Sólo una ¿quieres pickles, cebollas, etc.? La comida es bastante simple y sosa. Es barato, pero eso es todo. Servicio de atención al cliente va un largo camino.

Overall Nice food, looked well prepper, served quickly, alright staff, will definitely be returning :)

Okay but not that impressed so won't be going back. Didn't think the staff were bothered about the customers and had to be told numerous times what I wanted before they got it right.

Lovely service. Tasty sandwich made very nicely. Only problem was couldn't understand what one member of staff was saying and she couldn't understand us which is a big issue !!
