Was told a delivery time that time expired was given a new time which was a further 40 minutes later which was unacceptable and requests refund couldn’t get an answer on the call the restaurant, no food arrived but I am still charged and no refund I will be taking this further ad it is theft diabolical service from restaurant and just eat customer I

A week ago, we had a takeaway from here and the food was fantastic. Tonight we submitted an order at 17:45. The delivery time was meant to be 18:30 to 18:45. By 7pm, according to Just Eat our food had been delivered. I rang the restaurant who said it hadn't left yet. I was given a new delivery time of 19:40. At 19:50 I again rang the restaurant, who said the driver had left 40 minutes ago. The food turned up at 19:55, 2 hours and 10 minutes after ordering, stone cold. VERY annoyed

Ordered food 2 hours before delivery time, guess what it arrived 40 minutes late and the food was cold.Never again absolutely appalling service

It said it came with a nan bread and it didn't it came with a greasy wrap, all the kebab meat was burnt, most of it was hard, the salad was chunks of onion and lettuce and that's it, the chilli wasn't spicy one bit and weird, for a kebab chips and salad and apparently a nan for £11/12 it was terrible wouldn't eat it for free!

The food quality is great, the prices are great and espically affordable for those who are students as they provide student discounts. This is a great place to go for a lunch break as the food portions and its price are justified. I recommend their donner kebab wraps as it’s their most popular and best item there.

My friend got a pizza from here and it was not cooked. Worker refused refund and told her to eat it after a colleague had picked it apart and touched it.

ordered my food at 6pm with an estimated delivery of 6:45. it's now 7:45 and still no sign of my order! restaurant said 5 minutes almost 20 minutes ago. this is ridiculous!

Lazy dosent do it justice,we put more than 35 pounds worth of food into order.Only for them to turn around and say "your order has been cancelled as you live to far away" or words to that effect.We have ordered from here before,the food has been alright, they have a tendency to overcook the lamb.Only decided to inform us of this cancellation around 45 minutes after we placed our order. Unacceptable!

Chicken kebab was greasy and tasteless, I put half in the bin. Daylight robbery £8 for that rubbish. Would have given it 0 stars if I could

kebab state they come with Lebanese bread, they don't, they came with standard wraps. portion sizes are small especially for the price.

phoned restaurant 35 minutes after order was supposed to be delivered to be told that the order had only left the restaurant 10 minutes ago so basically it had left the restaurant 25 minutes after the delivery time won't use again

Amazing food and service. Good location right outside of the college for students. Very busy here and food makes you understand why. Knafeh was good and it was cooked. Chicken was dry but wings were nice and lamb chops were succulent. Bushra was very polite and server.

Me and my friend visited this place for lunch last weekend, and the waiter gave us a few extras on the house too. Overall, what we ordered was delicious. Would return again.

Lovely food. Improvement idea: the chips are basic frozen chips. Add some seasoning or paprika to them to up the game. Chips were the only reason you dont get 5 stars.

Ordered chicken madras and got plain chicken pizza.

Didn't enjoy the food at all. Lamb chops were dry. The steamy lamb special was actually gross. Globs of mostly fat mixed with tasteless lamb and rice. I don't often write reviews but this was a true waste of money.

Not sure whats happened to these guys, always ordered to collect and has been fine, food hot and ready within 15 mins. Decided to order in, bear in mind i live a 7 minute drive from the restaurant and it took 1 hour 30 mins to arrive, in which time the kebab i ordered was cold, the cheesy wedges were just wedges (they were hot) and the pizza/garlic bread was cold too. Its clear they forgot about the order and only sorted it upon the first call to them. Extremely disappointed, its only £20 but waiting so long for a substandard meal is the problem. They offered free food on the next order but im afraid there wont be one.

Wish i could give 0 stars. This place used to be so much better. Guy on the phone was rude, delivery was late and delivery guy was incredibly rude and snatched the money out of my hand. Half the meal was missing - would have called for it but the food was disgusting and inedible so would rather loose out. Shwarma was hard, dry and tasteless, pitta was stale, sauce was sour and salad was just awful. Absolutely diabolical to be putting food out like that! Waste of money

Walked in guy at counter sees me but did not look up or interact with em for about 4 minutes, I had already ordered via phone otherwise I would've left. Terrible start but should have told me of what is to come... They began making the food 2 staff members I saw at different intervals picking their nose - HAVE SOME HYGIENE!!!! Then once the food came I went home opened the bags up to find portion sizes which would hardly fill my 3 year old child. I clarified with them that my meals would be same as their menu states I.e skewers and grilled. It wasn't grilled at all! LIES! ITS FRIED IN A PAN - ABSOULTE CON. As for the donner it's tasteless same for the chips. No salad was given regardless of what the menu says and they just seem to stuff chips into every box to fill them up. Overall terrible customer service especially the guy in the black Baba shirt at the counter, the guy in the blue shirt was picking his nose, terrible food. Wish there was a 0 star option. Will not be back. Apparently under new management hence the recent bucket load of bad reviews, wish I'd seen them before.

Pizza was cut poorly and I've worked in a pizza store, sauce was also way too oversauced on the edges. I used the meal deal order and only received one of my diet cokes instead of two, but I'm not the type to reorder off of something small like that however it puts me off of ordering again. Delivery was fine, arrived on time and with hot food.

Really good place… very fast and attentive staff. Food was delicious, ordered kofta with rice. Tea is given for free after your meal which is brilliant.

Disgusting, cold food. I waited over an hour. Chicken wrap wasn't cooked and shish kebab was cold and definitely not worth the money. Ended up in the bin. This takeaway definitely deserves no stars, do not waste your money.

Absolutely shocking behaviour, ordered food on uber eats and waited 1 and a half hours for the order to be cancelled and not even a phone call to tell me it was cancelledor why. I rang up myself and was greeted with a extremely bad attitude and no good reason why my order was cancelled. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Everything was cold. Had to reheat in microwave. The salad was really poor lettuce small amount of cucumber and a huge chunk of onion. No care taken. They are normally my go to for kebabs. But really disapointed this time

one sunny day i was strolling in sunny newcastle when i had a hankering for a kebab. i asked the nice man sat down outside central station where he recommended and he recommended BABAS, to me. so i sped my way there! when i got there, the doors were barred, so i had to walk into ANOTHER RESTAURANT NEXT TO BABAS, to be let in. however, i stood tall with my head held up high waiting to be served. then, a CHILD serves me. i ordered the donna wrap with chips and garlic sauce as i was in a rather plump mood. then after i ordered it, his wotsit stained fingers handed me a receipt. i waited for the whole of ten minutes to be handed my wrap. although the service and environment was deteriorating to my mental health, my wrap was rather scrumptious, and it settled nicely in my skinny belly. the man next to me ordered something with cheese i dont know. thanks babas! x
