Subway in Newcastle upon Tyne

I don’t usually write reviews but First time I’ve received a subway that actually looks like care was put into it, I also put special instructions on my order and it was done, best subway I’ve had in a long time

Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery, when asked why it was late they said the courier hadn’t arrived even though the app was saying it had. Then was told my order would be cancelled so ordered from another one but still ended up coming. Quality wasn’t great when it eventually did arrive

Staff awful and poor service, at this time I wouldn't recommend at all.

The service is always top notch. Very friendly and quick with preparation. The food tastes lovely.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Gowtham, he always brings a smile to my face and has very quickly made this my favourite subway location of them all! Gowtham is always happy and chatty and by far the best and quickest sandwich maker in the land! He always brightens my day by making my subs so well and so efficiently and though he is very speedy he never rushes, always takes precision and care to make my sandwich exactly how I like it. This man deserves employee of the year as he is shining star among sandwich artists and a lovely person to top it all off. I suggest everyone gets themselves along to this subway to have the best made sandwich of them all!

You once were able to get Fantastic customer service very friendly staff and great subs reviews have totally dropped that says it all

Mouldy bread! Only noticed when got home. Keep trying to ring store but line "busy". Staff are also clueless.

What an amazing breakfast sub I had . Staff lovely and working so hard . Great experience in lovely hospitality and clean shop. I don’t understand people negatively commenting food industry not easy.. its made to your order with perfect toast etc.. thank you staff . Visit today 9.30 am. Credit to store.. will definitely visit again.. Thank you..

Some things were the wrong items

Horrendous service. Placed order for collection, pick up time 12pm. Arrived for then and order was just being started. No one else present in shop. Got halfway through making order, which included hot items. Stopped to serve other customer, my hot items were left on the side. Comes back to making my order, at this point its 12.20pm, finishes up and claims she didn't know I was there for collection, despite telling her, her acknowledging me and said she wouldn't be long. Food stone cold!!!

Poor bacon sandwich's and expensive coffee will not be back in a hurry.

Never even delivered it to my address! Watched the driver on the map!! Never even came nearly my home! Shop number is constantly engaged. Absolute joke!

Used this branch few times a week for over 5years the last few months has got worse and worse you have to tell them what goes in what sandwich and still put the wrong thing in cant even make a cup of tea between them Lunch break is over by time you get the right sandwich avoid and go to greggs instead!!

Asked for toasted. It wasn't. Did NOT ask for Olives and the thing was loaded with Olives. I can't stand Olives. Had to go through my entire sandwich and pick them out. 2nd time this Subway has done this. Won't be ordering from here again.

Wraps are a lot smaller then I thought for the price so not worth it in my opinion. Delivery time was spot on but the Footlong toasted sandwich was cold and sloppy by time it got to us. Wouldn’t order for delivery again.

The sandwich had barely any toppings on it and was extremely squashed. Definitely wouldn’t order again. The delivery came on time but took ages. Delivery guy was great

Food stank of smoke after being kept in the front of delivery drivers car.

Ordered doritos nachos - sent a bag of doritos. Ordered cherry bakewell cookie - sent chocolate cookie. Hardly any filling in the sandwich.

Missing a drink, and the muffin that came was the wrong muffin and also stale. Won't be ordering from here again.

Turkey came with tuna in it,person it was for intolerant to tuna,whole sandwich binned

Disgraceful portion size and food quality. Never known a sandwich to just flop over in half and taste like rubber. Almost like it was premade and microwaved...

lovely as usual but cookies were missing, could have substituted them as i’ve essentially paid an extra 1.85 for nothing

Why advertise 1.5 litre if you don’t have any so take it off so people don’t get confused like we just did and keep the 500ml ones

Ordered salad selected items and cross contamination in salad intolerance to corn and use same tools to pick salad massive no to place like this

Great salad worth the price. Forest hall salads are terrible not worth the price. Four land ends are fab

Shocking customer service! 3 of the 4 items in the large meal deal didn’t arrive. Driver didn’t care said ring subway. Rang subway and was told ah well we can’t get them to you!!

Good tasting sandwich, fast delivery. Received the wrong cookies (wanted to try the sticky toffee ones but received chunky chocolate). The app gave me a refund for them.

The sub would’ve been nicer if it had the cheese and peppercorns I ordered with it and I was given pepsi max raspberry instead of pepsi max.

Food freezing. Don’t even think it was toasted like i asked. , potato crimples also freezing about 4/5 of them squashed in a bag with no seasoning. not what they said at all. Terrible

Shop on Benton Road and I live on Benton Road . Delivery on subway page says from £2.49. I was charged £3.49!!! How can this be right? On the same street!!! You must literally have to live next door. Food arrived in good time but bread was soggy and the filling fell out when I unwrapped them.

Ordered a 6 inch tuna and 6 inch ham (both on white bread, both no salad or sauce or cheese) Literally the simplest order ever for my kids - and they sent two tuna

Ordered nachos and they came with no cheese or salsa etc but for some reason 3 slices of jalapeño. Basically got a bag of Doritos

Missing meatballs & pickles, my salad was 90% lettuce. Disappointed.

Food was absolutely freezing and my sub had the wrong sauce, very disappointed.

Restaurant missed my two bags of Doritos so I called and I was told there was nothing he could do about it and the guy who delivered did not follow the given instructions which were to call me as I live in a shared accommodation. Sandwich was delicious though which is the only redeeming quality.

Didn't get some of the items that was ordered. Also packet of crisps where crushed.

both orders were wrong, not toasted, wrong bread, no sauce or extra's, couldn't contact them as nobody picks up the phone, totally abysmal

The delivery time was great but they as they so often do got the ingredients wrong in my sandwich. Can't be that hard

I ordered some meatless meatballs with no other toppings/sauce but it came with chipotle sauce on it, I can’t have any dairy so I couldn’t eat any of it.

Putting frozen ice cream in the same bag, right on top of the toasted sandwich is not a good idea - it hurts the ice cream, and the toasted sandwich.

Ordered meatball Mariner and it tasted horrific and smelled worse. Looked like the scrapings from the bottoms of a burned tin disgusting

Bread was rock hard so could not be eaten, was also missing meatballs.

2nd time I have ordered from benton subway, 2nd time the driver has turned off his tracker within 3 mins of receiving order and 2nd time I've had a no show for my food. If you want a subway, there are many more in the local area, I'd suggest using one of them because this one is useless.

Hi iam realy not happy at all about my order I have just received there was no cheese at all on nachos or sandwich so I have rang the shop and spoke to a girl named Vanessa who was very disrespectful on the phone told me to just contact yourselfs and also the sub sandwich was freezing cold I think its a disgrace taking people's hard earned money and seving that I have photos of the food before I put it in the bin if you need them

One foot long sandwich which was ordered (Italian bmt) was only a 6 inch sub when delivered but was charged for a footlong

It was delivered from up the street the grilled baguettes were stone cold and the ingredients were stale and lacking in portion sizes. Never again will I get from Subway the fresh sandwiches yuck!!

Cocked up an order of 4 subs. Not at all helpful or bothered in trying to rectify it.

Took longer than expected driver got lost and food was poor sub rolls were stale wedges were soggy and cold

Food wasn’t the best. Nachos felt stale and the meatball marinara was not like normal, not sure if it had been mixed up with the vegetarian one...

Unfortunately I navigated the website incorrectly and thought I was ordering extras for my salad. In fact my meat and cheese came with the extras but no salad. I'd not ordered a salad on here before and assumed the whole salad box would come. It was my fault but, it would have been nice if the staff had given me a call to make sure as I'm sure they don't often get an order for ham and chicken with cheese and jalapeños,olives and pickles... and no salad items. I paid the price of a salad box for very little. As I say my first time ordering and I know better now. The good that did come was good quality and early.

Always lovely food, can be a little expensive for a sandwich especially if u go footlong and add extra cheese or extra toppings, footlong can be over £7 😱, but if u can stick to the daily deal of what's on that day it can save u plenty of cash

Don't order from Subway unless you're stood directly in front of them in store to physically tell them what you want and oversee it. They can't follow basic instructions from an online order with all of the information.

Wrong sauce and salad in one sub and wrong cheese in another. Missing crisps. Remainder of order was okay.
