Never arrived!! So angry my child’s went to bed with no food !! I want a refund

Special fried rice, special chow mein...nothing special about it. Both bland, no flavour. Both next to no sauce so got dry, 3 pieces of char sui & 3 prawns in *total*. Might as well have ordered chicken dishes. Not ordering from here again.

food is always piping hot and delicious! one of my favourite places to go. portion sizes are just enough to make you content.

Chips were awful very dry and spring rolls overcooked

The curry sauce has chicken stock in it - vegetarians beware!

Food was average but delivery was very late.

Ordered food at 8.30pm didn’t come untill 10.15pm Food was cold by this point and curry was was very thick probably because it had cooled down. Very disappointed

The Thai curry doesn't resemble anything close to a Thai curry. It was like a Thai curry made by someone who has no idea what a Thai curry is supposed to taste like, or look like. it was basic chip shop curry sauce with some veg added to it. I ate it anyway and it was ok so I've given a 3. but if you are expecting a legit Thai curry you will be disappointed.

The chicken noodle soup was inedible. It was tasteless. Just like boiling water had been poured over plain noodles and chicken. Shame as the rest was fine.

i say this everytime but the food is so fresh flavorful and beautiful from here and the staff are lovely!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!!

Chow mein was cold was special chow mein there was was about 3 bits of meat mostly noodles

The chicken black bean was full to the brim of beansprouts, also very watery. I was expecting a thick garlicky black bean sauce with green peppers in also, overall the rest of the meal was alright just possibly the worst chicken black bean I've had.

Chips were all hard as if been reheated and got a bag of crushed up prawn crackers!

Mushrooms in gravy were the most disgusting thing I’ve tasted in my life. Gravy was full of sugar and no amount of salt would take it away. House special chow mein. What can I say. Loads of shredded meat and one minute prawn. Load of rubbish

Ordered here a few times after googling a good takeaway, hot tasty food, had a few different orders all been really nice, delivery sometimes is quicker than expected, which is a bonus A*, fair price recommended.

First time we have ordered tonight and will definitely be back. Portions were small, but food was lovely.

This is usually my go to Chinese but tonight the chips were stale possibly even refried. Asked for no onions got half a tub of onions. The noodles were bland. Put me off a bit. A shame really

The food arrived almost half an hour late. Was Luke warm and very disappointing. The beef and chicken tasted bland and cold. The noodles were flavourless and the prawn crackers even were moist with no crunch. Very disappointing.

Never disappoints from Lucky House. Requests always met, hot on arrival and always on time. Not to mention super tasty food. Perfect!

We ordered a variety of different food just so we could have a choice. Really enjoyed it.

On takeaway menu it states free prawn crackers if you spend over £18.00. Never got them. Left a note telling the delivery driver where to come as back access is a lot easier. Didn't take any notice. He was rude. Will go back to mei mei all day long. The quality of food is 100 times better than lucky house.

I very rarely leave reviews but this place deserves one, duck in the duck chow mein was cooked absolutely perfect and very good portion noodles were great also , king prawn tai curry was lovely and same again great portion, chips were great. Fast delivery will definitely be ordering again.

Just ordered a takeaway for my mam and myself...it's absolutely beautiful!! Can't fault it...came boiling hot love this Chinese takeaway..the set meal for 1 is brilliant and they let you change the soup for prawncrackers if you want...honey spareribs are gorgeous salt and pepper chips also the wontons 🤤

Wasn’t bad, delivery was an hour, which is to be expected. Hong Kong chicken wasn’t great. Very dry and greasy. Chow mein was good, chicken fried rice was good. Chips were Luke warm and reheats so not great. But it was ok so gets a good rating.

First time I've ordered from here and I'd defo order again. Everything was lovely, great taste and generous portions. Would recommend.

The food was quite tasty, but the reason for 3 stars is the meat was very little. When we order Chinese we can usually make 2 meals, but it’s left us both feeling more hungry after eating it. We had Kung po beef and it just tasted like sweet chilli sauce and no cashew nuts. We also had house special fried rice. On the plus side the meat, despite being minimal, tasted quite fresh. It was our 1st time ordering here but sadly it’s our last. Sorry.

This place has went down hill. Never ordered in years but the food was not cooked properly. Chips not cooked inside, rice hard, funny taste to the noodles. We didn’t finish the meal. My son was up spewing all night, we both have pains in our tummy’s. I have loose stools. The pains are unreal. Never again. Disgusting meal.

First time we ordered from here and we were not disappointed

Food used to be great here but seems to have declined in quality. I forgot to order our special chow mein without prawns, so that's on me. However the chow mein was really greasy. So greasy it had come thru the packaging. The salt and pepper chips although tasty weren't plentiful, I think we had about 8 each. For £3.90 a portion I don't think that's ok. Housemate said their chicken in ginger and spring onion was ok. A bit gutted all in all, don't think I'll order again.

This is our go to local Chinese Takeaway. Consistently great Chinese food, always tasty, the portions are, for us, so substantial that we can never eat it all in one go, usually have enough left over for another meal. Delicious, not oily and always delivered piping hot. 5 stars.
