I went for Hot Pot on a Friday evening, it was quite when we got there & were shown straight to our table, the staff were friendly & attentive, a few minor issues around communicating as their English was not great. The choice of condiments for the Hot Pot were good but I have been to others with a much nicer & more varied selection of condiments. The quality of the food was ok but could have been much fresher, I asked for Bok Choi, none, tried for the Chinese lettuce leaves, none, ended up with a bunch of coriander! I requested a medium spicy soup but what we got was full of chilli oil & dried chillies & was too hot to enjoy. Overall it was a nice enough meal but I don't think I'd be back in a hurry, at least not for Hot Pot. Had the meal been better then the £75.00 we paid for two would have been good value for money as it was I think it was expensive for what we had. 5/10

One of the best beef in black bean meals I've had, lovely flavor, the vegetables still had their crunch, quick and excellent service.....would definitely come back to this restaurant......very impressed 👍

WORTH going to prices are very reasonable friendly staff and very helpful as I am vegetarian And gluten free. Will go again. The only thing is would be nice if the menu had things labelled gluten free although it does mention about allergies and asks that you mention it to their staff.

Great experience! We got a hotpot for the first time ever and really enjoyed it, even the picky eaters! Lots of variety for the food and good quality, just remember to cook the frozen dumplings for a long time as the middles take a while to cook fully. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. The only downside was that the hotpot was on top of the table so it was quite high up and hard to get things out of when sitting down. Overall, we all really enjoyed the night!

Staff greet you with welcome and put a lot of effort in to make you feel at home. Both times visited have been a Saturday night and it's been busy with a great atmosphere. Even though it's busy, ordering drinks and food, the service is still really fast. Mango lemonade is well worth the try 5☆ Thanks again for a 5 star night.

Just ordered a Chinese from this place and wow what a disgrace! I ordered salt and pepper chicken along with salt and chilli chips. First of all the quantity of the chicken was shocking, about 4 pieces of chicken each for me and my boyfriend!! The tub was half empty!! And the chips, they were soggy covered in oil and just a slimy mess. And to top it off the food was freezing cold and my delivery time changed multiple times on Uber so god knows what was going on! Wouldn't waste your money on this place, just waisted £20 on the worst Chinese ever!! We then attempted to call the restaurant and the man on the phone wouldn’t listen to what we were trying to say and took no responsibility! Where can I request a refund as I spent money on food I couldn’t even finish!?

The worst takeaway I’ve had in a long time. £50 spent on enough to only feed an adult and toddler at best… and I say “feed”, salt and pepper tofu was not crisp whatsoever. Soggy disgusting mess, noodle chow mein no flavour, three pathetic looking ribs in the mixed starter, dried old crispy wings, prawn “toast” was a soggy eggy flavourless mess. The only thing they got right was the plain boiled rice… even that I’m hoping doesn’t keep me up all night ont he toilet. Last takeaway before Xmas and you ruined it. You should be ashamed of yourselves. We feel totally robbed. I hope Santa puts coal in your stocking

Unprofessional. They promise 2 mains on the house after a bad experience. Couple months later they don’t know anything about it and apparently no one has promised this.

The food and services is good and local is easy to go, so highly recommended to try.

Had the set menu- £22 each for soup, starter and main each which we thought was pretty good value (though mains weren’t massive but perfect size for us to not waste food). Quick friendly service, would be happy to go back

Made a takeaway order with this restaurant and it never arrived despite calling them twice. Do not use them for takeaway.

The food is good and we enjoyed the meal until desert. Desert was frozen (sticky toffee pudding) I asked why it was frozen and the waitress said she'd sort it out and brought the same desert still frozen in the middle and told her so. The waitress then said its OK it's only a little frozen. My daughter ordered cheese cake which came melted in the outside and frozen in the middle. They obviously only have frozen deserts which is fine if they are cooked or defrosted properly!

My husband and I are still recovering from terrible food poisoning we had from food ordered from here on Saturday night (yes, still recovering nearly 4 days later). The most awful experience we’ve had, ever - not sure if it was campylobacter or other bacteria/virus but we nearly had to go to A&E due to severe dehydration after the second day of illness. Do not order from here. I promise, your body will thank you. We lost nearly three days off work and had to change our flights/add hotel days, so our 70£ dinner cost us nearly 500 quid before you consider lost wages. Edit: No, we did not order hotpot or other dishes you had to cook yourself. Everything we ordered was meant to be fully cooked/fried, but we got a terrible virus regardless. I advise the restaurant to review how it is storing things like shellfish, as well as how long they're leaving food out unstored (like rice).

I have honestly never been anywhere that does as nice food as here, the portions are huge the service is brilliant . I could not recommend this place enough

Contemporary restaurant, food was a bit hit and miss. The prawn toast seemed to be more fish than prawns, salt and chilli ribs were ok, Crispy Chilli beef was really good. Service was decent, they have also added 10% to their prices which they tell you about when you enter but the prices are still relatively reasonable. Hotpot looks like the best thing to have so may try this in the future.

I was told about this place so I had to visit, I found it extremely clean the service is 99% I gave this score only because as soon as your seated to their requirements, it is only 1 min before that ask you what beverages do you require? I question this on its own (please managers/bosses) please give 5 mins for a person to decide ) going along ! The food is delicious and delectable today the least, I feel because of times of living standards at the moment, I respectfully say please go during Mon -Thurs day time upto 4pm as there is a alternative menu on offer (suits all pockets). You pay a tad more for drinks but hey ho, business is busines. I had the 3 course and hell I was full after 2, please go and visit. Believe me well worth a few quid to have great afternoon out with your l9ved one or a great friend ( with or without benefits lol) every lives a chinese meal do we not ( thank got they are better cooks than me )

Food is lovely, as are the staff. Often go for a takeaway, but sitting in is a great experience too, with a good selection of sauces on offer. Toilets, though not necessarily important, are always nice and clean, which reflects well the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant. Overall, could not fault my experiences here!

I love this restaurant! The food is so tasty and fresh every time, the staff are lovely and the restaurant is very clean, spacious with comfortable seats and chilled music.

Placed an order for delivery through just eat. Rang two hours later to be advised they have the order but no delivery driver. Explained the situation to the lady on the phone and was told if you want it to come and collect later on or cancel the order. Won't be back in a hurry.

Living in Newcastle city centre we have so many restaurants on our doorstep to try, especially Chinese or Asian restaurants. We would normally go to Landmark on Stowell Street but we were starting to find their food a bit bland so we decided to try somewhere else. Little Asia did not disappoint, we tried the 3 course set menu as we had not eaten there before & based on this we will definitely be back. The food was delicious, the interior of the restaurant was nice and the staff were lovely and friendly.

Brilliant! 🤩 Trued the honey and chilli chicken dish however the sauce did get overwhelminging sweet so was unable to finish. Service was 10/10 would definitely return! Even with a 10% price increase the food was well worth the money!

Nice little place in Chinatown Newcastle the atmosphere is very quiet but very peaceful and welcoming they have nice chilled music while your eating your meal and the staff are really friendly and very welcoming but some times with the language it can be hard to understand but they manage there best so nothing to complain about and the food is excellent and tasty never had a bad meal from them in my experience going there so a lovely place so my review is a solid 8/10

Super service and good value. Drinks reasonably priced including draft lager and cider. 10 of us really enjoyed the food which was excellent and not greasy like some Chinese meals can be. Would definitely recommend 👌

Called in for a light lunch with my sister visiting from overseas. Had chicken and sweetcorn soup, Cantonese ribs and chicken satay skewers. All very hot, fresh and tasty. Staff friendly.

We have visited Little Asia and love the food and the service. Food is always very hot and the service is prompt. The only downside is the noise. There is not any form of sound insulation and at times when full, the restaurant can be ridiculously loud.

The food tasted good but it was very salty and oily we got a bit sick afterwards. Also they charged us much more than how much we were supposed to pay, we later found out after leaving the restaurant. Maybe they didn’t update the price of the menu(the one for authentic Chinese meals) or they charged the tip, but I wish they informed us in advance. Edit: I don’t know what the restaurant is talking about. There wasn’t any notice on the menu and they should’ve updated the price for each menu.

We visited Little Asian on the Tuesday night, the staff were friendly, service was quick, food was lovel and it is quite cheap compared to other places. There's a hot pot option where you can cook the food yourself which is pretty interesting. There are a few vegan/vegetarian there is plenty of paid parking options near by which are reasonably price. A lovely little relaxed restaurant with great food and lovely staff.

Had a takeaway from here via Uber Eats for 6 people. Everything we ordered was really tasty and we'll definitely be coming back for more. The Munch Box is a great way for 3-6 people to share a range of sides/starters. The crispy squid with salt & pepper was the best squid/calamari we've ever had. Beef with cashew nuts had a great flavour and was very tender. Stir fried mixed mushrooms really was a mixture of different mushrooms and made for an interesting veggie dish.

Absolutely incredible! Annoyed I haven’t been here sooner! We went for the lunch special and got so much food for such a low cost. Soup, appetiser, main with side of fried rice. Everything was so flavoursome and all came out super quick. The service was exceptional; very helpful, friendly and welcoming. The decor of the place was gorgeous. We will definitely be back to try the hot pot, it all looked so good!

Went there without booking a reservation but the staff were kind enough to work something out for me and my friends. They were super nice and their meal was just as I expected it to be. I'm going back soon.

My family had Diahrrea for 3 whole days after eating here. too bad that the service was great. and food was ok. we had the hotpot set meal for £68. wont come back to eat here again.

Fairly quiet when we went in as they were closing soon. Cannot fault the food it was delicious and very good value for money staff were also very attentive even though they were due to close would definitely recommend .

Awesome Food great flavour just loved the food ..I remember we walked a lot to reach but it's really worth it ..and the quantity they serve is also good .Must try the sweet corn chicken soup along with prawn crackers ....and the entire course of the meal was full of flavours and as warm as it requires in the winter .

This was a lovely experience. Went in without a booking and they accommodated. The staff were great and very attentive. The food was lovely and the clientele was about 75% Chinese which I find id usually a good thing. The strange thing was the menu which is pretty much a book of meal photos which was a bit weird

Got to be one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been in for a while. Pretty reasonable pricing enjoying crackers, chicken sweetcorn soup, salt and pepper chicken and beef green peppers with fried rice washed down with a pint of beer for £25!! The food was absolutely fabulous in both preservation and was oozing with classic Chinese traditional flavours!! Service very good and staff friendly. I would 💯 recommend this pls e to anyone visiting Newcastle!!

"Worst Chinese food I've ever had" The food is overly salty and sweet. Not at all tasty. I asked the staff to customise the food, but they refused, and said that this is the way they cook. I was very disappointed because I did not feel it was worth the price.

Very busy, from being sat down to be given a menu or drinks was ages. So busy because the food is served immediately and is hot and delicious. Try the hot pot. Be a bit adventurous, you won't regret it. Delicious, friendly fast service will definitely be returning

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone craving for Chinese food in Newcastle. It was my first time trying hotpot and it was so good (definitely recommend trying it). The restaurant also offers 10%discount for students.

外面下着大雨来吃火锅但是服务员说没有空余桌子了，唯一空余出来的桌子是有预定的情况下直接给后面刚来的客人安排了桌子并且忽略了我们。后来经过我们善意地提醒以后说让我们去坐边上已经说预定的小桌子，然后将后来的两个客人安排去了十人的大桌。全程十分敷衍并且让人觉得不适。

Arrived after approx 1 hour 20 minutes! cold and soggy... absolutely gross. Contacted customer service, they said when it left them it was warm...that's fair enough but it's not still going to be warm an hour later 🤦🏻‍♀️

Average food helpful staff great company

Food was tasty, however waiting time between soup, appetizer and main dish was extremely long (20-25 min between all of them) and because of that, we spent there more than 1,5 hour.

The restaurant does not compare to any other I have visited recently. Well priced. Delicious. Excellent service and beautiful decor inside . 10/10 would recommend to anyone living in the Newcastle area who fancies a lovely lunch or delicious dinner.
