Subway in Oxford

It was an hour and 45 minutes late.

I ordered at 7:42 it got delivered at 9:04. The delivery driver said he thought he cancelled the order but didn’t. My order was made at 20:07 and the receipt says it was picked up at 20:19 however I called the subway at 20:53 asking where it was and they said they still had it because a courier never came. The food is cold, boxes were open and had obviously just been sat there for over an hour. This is extremely unacceptable

The portions were small and disappointing, with no sauce despite paying extra. There were no tissues or cutlery provided either. The food seemed rushed and poorly prepared.

Food was cold, the garlic cheese bread thing was abysmal it’s half a baguette with slight cheese on and was freezing! Delivery time went up every time checked!

My drink was missing from the order rest everything was okay

Distance from subway to my destination was only 10min but delivery guy took almost 45min … i get my food very cold barely even couldn’t eat. Pathetic service never gonna use this just eat again waste of money

The time of estimated delivery kept changing. The food arrived absolutely freezing cold which was very disappointing

I thoroughly enjoyed this subway, I went near closing time but the staff didn’t mind at all they completed my sandwich very well and it was really clean and they used fresh ingredients. This is one of the best subways I have visited.

none of it was fresh didnt what i ordered barely any filling or saled bread tasted like it was yesterday and very stale dont order from here

My order was over 40 minutes late causing the food to be completely cold . I would like some sort of compensation. I had no means of knowing what was going on, no contact information. The times just kept rising up every minute or so.

they didn't have what I wanted so they sent some cookies with a little note on them!!

Yesterday ordered a Brekkie delivered by Deliveroo, the sandwich was not fresh, was reheated after being made earlier, got a jaw ache from chewing on the bread, absolutely no egg. Very very disappointing.

wrong item sent the sandwich was absolutely horrible they need to come back and get it the sandwich is not edible.

The food was cold and I requested the subs to be toasted but they werent and I also ordered 2 liptons and only got one.

Service is good, just that the food needs to be served hot - ordered BBQ baller and the meatballs were not exactly hot even after toasting, though the staff did ask her colleague to ensure the meatballs were hot which her colleague touched it and said yes. But in actual fact it’s not hot after biting into it and I ate it on the spot in the restaurant. So this is some feedback for the place to improve on.

absolutely disgusted. we ordered 2 veggie foot longs which came with MEAT? The restaurant refused to pick up the call and on top of that we were missing 2. Items

food arrived cold, the topping of pizza slice was stone cold and all over the lid of the box, the 3 subs were meant to be cheese and toasted but none of them were just stone cold cheese slices, out of the three cookies ordered only received one and a half. The general overall quality of the order was disgusting. I called subway to discuss this to have a man just laughing down the phone at me telling me i'm wrong he did the order and there was nothing wrong with it. I reheated all the food and we ate some and binned the rest as it was that disgusting I didn't take any pictures and when i explained this the guy laughed and said well you need a picture i said how will i do that i've eaten and thrown it out and he just kept laughing saying take a picture. In all fairness id like a refund as I've never had an order as bad as this and as for the customer service it did not exist he was rude and sarcastic

food was absolutely bangin, 100% would recommend. service was fast and friendly. perfect lunch to have on a hot day

Ordered vegan subway- create your own but sadly missing Pickles, Red peppers, jalapeño, and crispy onions

This is no fault of the driver. Subway had a problem with my order. After waiting over an hour, I called Subway. The lady had no idea and lied to me saying the order has been picked up over 30 mins ago. Another hour later, my food got delivered. I asked the driver when he picked my food up and he said only 5 mins ago. So subway lied and made my food cold. Absolutely ridiculous. Never ordering from here again

With food i have no complaints, the problem is the staff I use Subway app with its QR code so i can get points on the app so they can gather up and then i can get for example: a side for free or a hot drink. I have been SHOCKED how as a under18 they took photos of my qr code,my subsquad etc. For no reason, my qr code also had my name and they asked to double check too..???? They have absolutely breached my privacy,comfort-zone and respect - will go to another subway but this one is not good ' strange staff who also give me weird looks and stare at me while i eat my food

The cleanest Subway I have ever seen (or any fast food)!!! I have worked in hospitality about 10 years and places this clean I have only seen in fine hotels and awarded restaurants. I hope Subway management have seen how this place looks and they realise how lucky they are to have the staff there. Staff that manage to keep a business and the equipment like that would never struggle to find work. Any restaurant or hotel would be happy to have them! When I was there Nimisha and Jisa were there and even though it was quiet they were cleaning. Massive well done to the team on Cowley!

Order took ages and all food was stone cold so guessing it was made straight away but left sat there for ages, I don’t mind waiting as long as food is still hot! Inedible food!

Whoever made my sub for deliveroo just now needs to be very ashamed of themselves. Literally just a bit of mayo and lettuce?? I assumed somehow they had forgot the actually filling but right at the bottom I found a smidgen of Tuna. Appalling for £10. Do not ordering from here def not online. I've been subways all over the world and I've never experienced anything like this JOKE I just received.

I am a semi-regular customer. Every time I've been there, the staff has been the friendliest of any shop I've been to. I don't usually leave reviews but they definitely deserve this one.

No drink, mayo instead of ketchup!!!

Friendly staff but very slow service despite the restaurant being empty. Gluten free bread used was literally raw - had raw dough in the middle.

I’ve never come across a restaurant so consistent in getting an order completely wrong.

I believe this is the first time I've been to a Subway and I've been greeted upon entering! The lady was very nice and smiley, shame I didn't see her name - We visited on the 8th October at roughly 11am. Parking is a bit of a pain due to being on the high street but I'm sure you'll find a way as we did. The subs, I had the 6 inch chicken tikka which was full of meat and salad, with a good amount of sauce so I can't complain at all. Everything felt fresh and warm from being toasted. The other sub was exactly the same, bar the meat. She said it was one of the better subways she had! We did use the current vouchers posted through our door, so that made this sub even more inviting.

Looking at my bank account I got charged £10.97 for a footling meal. Complete rip off!

They made a really bad sub in the whole world. They don’t know how to wrap it and even the staff doesn’t understand what the customer is saying specially one who is on till. I have eaten alot of subway’s but this one is the worst. All stuff is coming out one can’t hold it properly to eat. Can someone send them to training and teach how actually it should be prepared. Even i have uploaded a picture in photo session just look what they have made. Shame on you!

I went twice in a week. Normally I really like to have a subway but both times here especially were a bit ruined by the fact that we had to wait at least 15min before ordering (they decided to prioritize the deliveroo orders..), some of the staff had big issues with understanding what we wanted and finally the sandwiches were both too grilled with not enough sauce. I just think the managers should put more effort in the recruitment and on the training of their staff..

One decent worker, poor her because the other 2 seemed clueless. Unfortunately price didn't match the menu, no receipt given so couldn't check Food was as expected its subway

They refused a legal assistance dog and even refused to listen to the police over the phone. I am giving a statement at the police station about this awful hate incident tomorrow. Take that “service dogs welcome” sticker off you liars. You have violated Equality Act Sections 20, 29. I have no idea what happened to this place. I have been coming here often with my assistance dog and suddenly this?!

Lovely place! The staff is friendly and work really, really hard. Please 🙏🏽 continue to support them as they get so many online orders but are constantly trying their best. I go there multiple times per week and they have now memorised my order so I know the work they are doing. 💯❤️ Excellent experience!!! The entire staff works hard to make me feel welcomed and special. On several occasions, the staff anticipated my order and knew exactly what I was going to get! Their ability to work so well as a team was amazing to see. For example, they were very well organised and systematic! Although it was super busy and Thiozu was helping a customer with at checkout, Lia was able to come back over to my sandwich with clean gloves and finish making it with clean gloves and finish it! I know that Lia works hard to ensure the sanitisation of the restaurant and often switches out gloves between tasks. Great job Subway 🙌🏽🙂

two men working there served me wrong order despite I've made it clear what I wanted and wrapped everything. when I came out the shop and sat in my car to open food find order completely wrong.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE VIA JUST EAT ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE ON A HOSPITAL WARD WITH A SICK CHILD!!!! Placed order fine driver arrived luckily had signal unfortunatly unable to answer as i had nurse in at the time. Couldnt get through to the driver and restaurant unwilling to help and werent prepared to get hold of the driver. If you want subway from this place go and collect it. Subway cowley your lucky to get 1 star. Realistically its a -10

meat ball was not hot,but tastes good

Several times I have ordered here through Uber eats and got the wrong order delivered. Furthermore food looked like it had been dropped on the floor and rewrapped with the bread torn up in the wrapper. The correct receipt was on the package. Refuse to do anything to correct their mistake. Extremely poor service. Will never use again.

My vegetarian girlfriend ordered a veggie meatball sub from here and they sent her normal meatballs and didn't do anything about it. No refund and not even an apology just told us to ring JustEat (who also did nothing about it)

One of the top non hygienic places I have seen, serves both veg and non veg with same gloves. Salads are not fresh, chicken is like either over cooked or under cooked and breads are like crisps, absolute nightmare.
