Subway in Oxford

This place saved my life, was staying in a hotel but they struggled with my "no processed, no sauces, low fat diet". Stopped at Subway for a lean turkey, tomato, cucumber and lettuce brown footlong with no sauces. Loved it.

Crazy when you go to eat somewhere and there's mice running around on the floor!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Made a mobile order for a sub takeaway. They gave me a random stupid wrap. I even double checked showing them the order number on my phone. The phone number provided is also unavailable to call. The worst Subway I have ever been.

Timing changed 3 times and we were given an old churro, the sandwiches had barely any mayo and our cheesy garlic foot long only had a thin layer of cheese and garlic butter

Despite other reviews this particular subway has lit to offer its close to the city centre so very convenient for a quick pop in the staff on shift during my visit were pleasant and cheerful very well mannered and polite and surprisingly very attentive to my requests unlike some subway locations ive been to .... Special note to adeel the manager for being super helpful even though he was in the middle of staff orienteering he took time to provide what I required . Well worth the visit for a quick bite to eat . The store was clean and fresh The wait was minimal if any Service was prompt Staff were very courteous I will be coming again .

Awful customer service, ordering system takes too long, no smiles and hello, poor product at the end and technology is allowing staff not to interact with customers.

I came here for lunch and the food made me unwell due to how undercooked some items were. I ordered the waffle fries, triple cheese dipper, Chipotle bites and a cookie. The dipper was nice and hot however the rest of the food was stone cold. The service wasn't great either as staff were not helpful when fixing the kiosk and we're adding unwanted items to the order. The tables looked as if they had not been cleaned recently. When staff did decide to cean they were aggressively banging their broom and making a racket . DO NOT EAT HERE! Just go the cowley road branch as that one has very nice food and good staff.

£8.57 for a nearly empty box. An utter disgrace that they could call this a salad and I paid extra for "double cheese".

I just loved the customer service from Mr. Bilal, I called him as I got difficulty in using the kiosk, he just helped me out and most importantly he over checked the price as he thought I would be overly charged. I never seen any employee in any fast food chain giving so much importance to customer & their money. Food is even great but for me service stands out the most. Keep it up👍

food was good but delivery was very late

I pop here for a takeaway coffee fairly often and it always takes ages or the machine isn’t working properly. But this evening I wasted my entire work beeak waiting for a large cappuccino. Didn’t look very busy, but it took 14 minutes for a cappuccino. Staff laughing and chatting amongst themselves 0 customer engagement, no apology for the delay, no communication through the entire visit. Just a simple heads up it may take a while and I would have been okay. Finally got my coffee and then had to ask for sugar and a wooden stirrer, like it’s the simple things. Manager on shift was Bilal… zero management skills.

Food is good. Really conveniently placed in the centre. Only issue I have is the sockets don't work as sometimes I need to charge my phone lol

I go to a lot of subways. This is the worst. I was being served by Bilal the manager too. I had to ask for more sauce and lettuce on my salad and I paid for double chicken and literally got 1 portion. Lettuce is 96% water, it’s not gonna affect your margins that much to actually give your customers what they pay for. My friend got a foot long and they gave him one measly line of sauce down 2/3 of his sandwich. To make things worse, I got back to my room to eat my food and the cutlery WAS A SPOON. No knife, no fork, a spoon. There’s literally nothing at subway to eat with a spoon. (This is a big deal since I live in uni accom. on the top floor so this added 10 minutes of wasted time to my life very late at night) This is subway is trash, do not go if you aren’t feeling like giving away money to a MNC for literally nothing.

wrong sauce was put in my sandwich and I couldn't eat it! phone number to store doesn't work so can't phone them!

The order wasn't delivered even though the driver marked it as such.

Bag was ripped open. Missing 5 items off of our order. Delivery guy left so fast we couldn’t do anything about it. No one is answering the phone.

I ordered at 9:25 and didn’t receive my order till 10:15 my driver told me to complain about the wait as he was waiting at the place for a long time! I even missed an item in my delivery

added 2 cucumbers to entire sandwich and refused to add more.

Accepted order then just kept sending drivers away until they closed. Also never refunded additional charges. Poor show.

The worst subway I've been, my spicy Italian had 8 slices of salami on footlong sandwich

I love this Subway! It’s super conveniently located, always clean, and the food is consistently fresh. The service is excellent, thanks to Adeel, the attentive manager, who has motivated and uplifted the team since he took charge. My go-to order is an Italian footlong with chicken breast, all vegetables except corn, and a mix of lite mayo and chipotle southwest dressings.

Asked for more filling... Very disappointing... less than half full... guy who was serving had no idea... salad is meant to be footlong salad filling with extra lettuce .... should be ashamed of themselves.

food took over 1 hour to arrive . to be told by the delivery driver that they kept stopping preparing our order when customers came into store to serve them. food was cold and incorrect salad and sauce added to wrong subs. I dont belive it takes 1 hour to make 5 6inch subs

Usually been good from here but today the order was late and my food was cold also even tho it was a late order they still managed to forget my drink so not only was it cold I over paid because I didn’t receive my drink not happy lads 😂

I am absolutely disgusted at the service from just eat. I waited over an hour and a half since ordering my food, only for the driver to drive strangely up and down my road and then mark my order as delivered when he never dropped it off! How low do you have to be to take someone’s dinner that they’ve paid for and mark it as delivered? Oh, and I’ve got your vehicle reg number and I’m reporting you for theft.

Arrived cold and when I tried to call it just directed me to some online thing and I was unable to speak to anyone. tried to speak to subway directly and it just cut off. I specifically selected I wanted it toasted.

the driver didn't deliver the order...I told the driver where he needed to drop the order off but still didn't deliver the order so I've had to go out myself and buy the food again and deliver it myself, I will be asking for my money back...

Delivery time was good - however items were missing so not so great

Asked for a footlong sub to be wrapped as two separate subs and ended up being charged for two six inch subs. Whilst not, technically, an overcharge it was still almost £3 for an extra sheet of paper. I think now I have seen it all. As much as I enjoy subway I will definitely not be back to this one.

Worst experience with the staff there, specially one staff who thinks he is the king of that subway, staff has threaten me against my life. I recommend better to take action against the staff there who don’t respect the tourist there.

Great place to eat in centre of Oxford, quick service and the seating area downstairs is lovely! Definitely recommend

Worst subway I’ve visited. Not sure what the area management were thinking. The manager (Adel) is lazy, just stands on his phone whilst taking payments. Mouldy lettuce on display, chewy bread. Will not be returning. Awful display of management

Overtoasted until the bread became unchewable—very hard and crumbly. The poached eggs also hardened 😞. I talked to the staff to improve it. Please don't do this to your customers again; it was so sad to eat this kind of Subway when you're really hungry.

Incompetent staff, just didn't want to know ,failed to add points to my app even after I asked twice if they had been added. Very stingy on fillings had to repeatedly ask for more !!

I just ordered two six inch subs from this store and both were on stale bread and basically inedible. I actually pointed out how stale the bread was to the member of staff serving who essentially lied to me that she couldn’t understand and that the bread was soft. This was just after lunch on a Saturday so I don’t understand why all the bread would be stale unless corners are being cut. I can assure you if this is happening on a regular basis this store won’t last long in spite of its prime location (maybe one of the reasons it often seems to be empty).

Good Subway outlet, they also provide member benefit option (the subway rewards). Love their Tex Mexan option with 9 grain wheat.

Only two out of the three items I ordered and paid for were delivered. I got no explanation from the driver except that that's all the store gave him.

Finally a Subway in the centre of town, usual service and sandwich quality you would expect from a subway. Tidy and clean.

Mediocre food, seemed less fresh than other subways that I've had, staff were uncoordinated and seemed frustrated.

Portions are poor. No one knows how many slices of meat to put in the sandwich and put only 3 slices of ham in my footlong . They never add enough salad.

Ordered a chicken footlong only to find out when it was delivered that it was just bread with salad and no meat. Worst service ive ever experienced. Wont be ordering from here again!

Driver drove around the wrong street for over 20 minutes and didn’t answer the phone when I called multiple times would only communicate through text, food was freezing on arrival and driver was rude

Today, when I came to Subway, I have noticed how much busy was staff, Managers trained new staff and worked hard to give The Customer The Best Service. In my subjective assessment in several restaurants I saw that the green color always prevailed, it was much more than here, this store has an interior design very friendly, there are few different colors, what make this store more attractive from others. I think that the interior design itself will cause the customers feel good here and they will want to come back. Good luck!

If you want a subway sandwich, you won't be disappointed. We came here twice to fill the gaps between day trips and a desire for light dinner. The Subway is good place to dine in, the staff is friendly and one of the best places to eat n relax with family n friends!!

Glad to finally have a Subway in Oxford city centre. I went there on the inaugural day and found it quite good. They have a seating place in the basement and is decently spacious. Nothing special - just like any other Subway, but good to finally have one as I like subway wraps. Good news for all the Oxford subway lovers.
