Leon - Oxford in Oxford

It used to be a very nice place, but now the upper floor is usually closed, and the food is not comparable with the one served when they opened the business . Another company's service in decline like other thousands.

Lovely aesthetic cosy place with friendly servers and yummy food. Worth the money! Ordered matcha latte, breakfast box and pink latte.green matcha wasn't good. Pink latte was yummy would recommend.

I visit Leon’s at least once a week as I work close to it, absolutely love the food and the place is great. Although! I popped in to get my lunch today and while waiting for my food one of the servers was using the dust pan and brush then finished returned behind the counter and started serving food WITH OUT WASHING HANDS! Along side that a guy was changing the bin liner then also returned behind the counter again with out washing hands!! Really sad as I love Leon’s and it’s really a great place, but hygiene needs to be reminded!

Came here to plan a lecture at Oxford. Outlets for electronics galore and I really enjoyed their ice coffee. Comfy chairs upstairs a major bonus.

Never provide cutlery when food is delivered. Expects customers to eat curry and rice with fingers. Avoid take outs *update* After reading the managers reply I thought I’d try again. Again no cutlery. Thought maybe another unfortunate “one off” but after a second go yesterday I have come to the realisation that Leon and the management really don’t care!

Went on a Wednesday morning at 10am. It was very quite so plenty of seating. There is seating upstairs too. Ordering is via terminals. I had the breakfast deal, which was £5. That was a sausage and egg muffin with a hot drink. The ketchup is quite spicy, which makes a change from the norm. There are toilets, these were clean enough.

Went in for some lunch and were concerned about if our meal had been fully cooked. Front of house staff were so lovely and helpful - they offered to remake the food and offered a refund which was above and beyond. However, a gentleman I assume was the manager on shift came over to our table to confront and intimidate us about the issue - which was completely unnecessary. What would have been a complete non-issue has now ended in a poor review.

Great food and service but lighting in the public space is poorly designed. Most adults knock their heads when standing up from the dining tables.

I was told I couldn't use the bathroom 20 minutes before closing because it had already had its final clean. I was also asked to move about an hour before closing, when I'd just sat down, so that the area I was in could be cleaned. ~10 other customers were also sitting in that area and asked to move.

Leon is super fast, and rather unique “fast food”. You can order yourself at digital kiosks and pick up the food when ready. Its not spectacular, something you’d expect in an airport, but its satisfying fast food without the guilt.

Fast food with healthy food in Oxford city centre, many gluten free options. Good food and nice environment. Very fast service.

Leon Oxford, the best choice cafe, ask for hotchoc with almond, you will enjoy, staffs very good smile faces

Food was great, but toilets were unhygienic, hope the kitchens are better.

I like this city but the food? not so much ! England food not so good as India food and Leon proves this very well ! Many choice for vegans and vegtarians but wanted meat and there was not so much ! Sauce taste bad and fake (because vegan, not real). I do not come back ! Perhaps i go to the Burger Kings across the road in future.

Amazing for gluten-free options

Coffee was not good at all. Similar to McDonalds but at Costa prices. Had an iced latte and that was better.

30 minutes to wait for a “fast food” take away

I don't normally do fast food chains but have been following the rise of Leon for some time. Their ethic seems pretty good to me and I hope they lure more away from the USA fast food giants. Leon are that bit healthier and have much better ethics in my view. This visit didn't disappoint; for this type of food it was very good.

Had an emergency and had to accommodate a group of 35 with less than an hour’s notice. The guys were absolutely amazing, helpful, friendly, fast, accommodating and the food was very good.

Takeaway took a while to prep, not tasty, no ustensiles. Do not recommend. Especially not for the price.

I was angry and tired and hot, after doing a stupid task and being nearly knocked off my bike by numerous vehicles on Banbury Rd, but coffee and chicken nuggets made me feel like a reasonable human again. Thank you Leon.

Ordered 3 "big box" breakfasts a croissant and 4 hot chocolate dr I nks and it took about 15 mins. Was informed about a 10 mins wait as the Oxford half marathon was on and the city was busy. Collected from the front counter, it was hot and very tasty. I'll be back to try lunch/ dinner some day. Keep up the hardwork.

Fast food that's also good food!

When it's open it is good food with good gluten free options. I actually like the self service screens as you can check the ingredients which is really helpful for those with food intolerances. However this branch is never open on time according to online opening hours. I've come after the 7am opening time during week and it's not open, I've come on a Sunday, like today at 8:30, 30 minutes after it's meant to be open and it's not open. Please adjust website opening hours.

Recommend Leon to travellers. Good location. Nice service. Ordered GFCand Peanut satay ricebox meal set. All taste yum but not into dash water with peaches flavour.

Quite a small selection of food and drink. Can order off the screens and food is prepared fairly fast. Fries were very soggy sadly but the wrap was pretty good.

Super friendly staff member this morning. Younger guy with a beard and ponytail. Food (breakfast sandwich) was tasty and fresh, and easily altered on request. Good vibe. Fast food, but much better than BK or the clown.

We visited Leon in Oxford a few times in the past few years and I must say, I was extremely impressed! Firstly, the location is absolutely perfect - it's right in the heart of the city and easy to get to. When I arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which immediately put me at ease. Despite the restaurant being very busy during my visit, the staff managed to keep everything running smoothly and the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. As for the food - it was delicious! The food was better quality than other fast food restaurants

Very casual but so friendly and warm. There always great service and a friendly team of staff at Leon, as well as a great range of delicious food.

Great food as always with options for the whole family, staff incredibly helpful bringing the food to my table when I was struggling with my toddler.

Didn’t know they were dog friendly! We got in from a week away on a holiday after collecting our dog from a friend and they let us sit in with her and even got some grilled chicken as a treat! Great experience and treatment from the cashier, the tall gentleman with the curly hair and with the husky ;) And! delicious food as always! Thank you!! ♥️

Stopped by for Lunch today. I went for the Grilled Chicken burger (only choice they have), the standard baked Waffle fries (only choice they have) and a can of Original Coke. Can’t go wrong with a can of coke. In terms of the burger, it was very underwhelming. As someone who eats chicken every day, the chicken itself was noticeably not fresh. It was going dark and very chewy, as if it was reheated from days ago. The lettuce in the burger tasted bland and the sauce inside the burger wasn’t tasty as well. The baked fries weren’t too bad, although they were soft and had no crunch to them. Giving 3 stars for the fact that the staff were polite and efficient, and they offer 15% student discount. But personally, I wouldn’t go back.

Food was good but the whole impression was damaged by horrible dirty toilet. Brrrr...I am not recommending using it.

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Came here for lunch with my little one and although it was busy at the time, we were made to feel so welcome and the staff went out of their way to make my little one feel comfortable and at ease by interacting with her. Food came out really quickly, which is important when you’ve got a hungry toddler in tow! Would definitely eat here again and recommend to friends!

All looked clean etc but we didnt like the menu much as there were plant foods on there and certainly not for us.

the most foul-smelling and dirty restaurant in town, disgusting, it smells really bad, you don't have fans or air conditioning in the kitchen, I was last there the other day with the child from the smoke and the smell of frying we were suffocating, we couldn't eat normally, the clothes smelled unbearable, the food was not fresh, we were very disappointed

I normally love Leon, it's a favourite normally but the full breakfast is ropey. The eggs have bullet hard yolks, the toast limp and beans were just sloppy. You never serve anything but the proper baked beans if you want a good dish. The whole experience was a poor, lukewarm disappointment.

Good fast slightly healthier food

Amazing experience - good is delicious and healthy alongside the gluten-free deserts which you can rarely find in other places! I come here as often as i can and it never disappoints.

£11 for 10 chicken nuggets is very pricy. Bit dry. Not bad and would be 4 stars but so expensive and I mean really pricey even for posh fast food. At this price will bot get again. Would rather eat at home said the wife

Never been before and won't be returning 😣 As a plant based eater I decided to support a business with 'similar' ethics but it was really poor, burger was cold the "chips" only had about 7 hash fries in them. Definitely NOT fast food as it took about 10 minutes. And expensive...... vegan burger, chips and a can of Coke for just under a tenner, should have gone to McDonald's or Burger King and had 2 x hot burgers chips and a drink for the same price or gone to a pub 🤔

Went to this so called Korean burger place ordered by the look of the picture burger looked awesome also got a couple of rice boxes when I got the burger the lthing looked a bit deflated rice boxes were probably half full I ain't been to this place before but I do know 1 thing I won't ever be going again absolute rubbish

Tasty food on the go and reasonably priced

Food was all cold which was a shame so luckily I had a fan oven which I shouldn’t of had to use but other than the food being cold was nice but I’m just unsure if I want to eat here again which is sad

Service is really quick once you place an order on the screens. Upstairs you can literally sit in the window and enjoy your food. Food quality was good and tasted great. Overall a good experience at this location and would recommend all fans to visit and enjoy !

Really disappointed with Christmas curry bought last night in Oxford branch of Leon. . Artificial taste, no turkey or potatoes evident, as advertised. Left a taste of garlic powder and additives. Most thrown away. Overpriced and underwhelming.

I appreciate the healthy fas food concept, but a chicken box filled with rice and topped with just a bit of chicken isn’t for me. Should the labelling had done accordingly, then it would be fair play. Not to mention the chicken was slightly burned, too, which I didn’t really care because as I’ve said it’s just a tiny piece of chicken.

Poor service, limited choice as many of the options were unavailable, and perhaps most problematically, no recycling at all, in spite of there being a giant "Help us recycle" sign on the wall. The staff told us to just chuck it all in the same bin as there was no recycling, and seeing our surprise, said rather aggressively that we could always talk to the manager if we were not happy.

You have to order at a self service computer and pay electronically . Hand gel available after you have used the touch screen. Nice food but no smoked salmon salad ,my favourite,boo boo . Smoothies are amazing . Loos upstairs and down

They say it's England's kimbap heaven, but it's 3 times more delicious than Gimcheon.

Iced tea was good. Coffee was fair. Biscuits were good also. Slightly slow service.

Stop here usually on my way to and fro places. The place has a good central location with plenty of seating (they used to use the upstairs but typically when I go it's closed). The food tends to be quick and it seems to be relatively healthy fast food. I quite enjoy their blueberry pastel de nata and coffee. Recently, they started also doing meal deals and they do offer student discount. The staff are professional and friendly. A little bonus is that they allow you to stay there to do your work when it's quiet whilst you eat or drink your coffee. It's a cosy and comfortable environment and it caters a lil something for everyone.

We paid for the meal but we didn’t had the delivery,called the restaurant the manager on duty Eduardo said that he can’t do nothing. Do not buy nothing from this shop they don’t care about the customers!!!

Myself and husband had breakfast here (the egg halloumi tub) and by 12pm we've both been sick. The egg at the top was well done, but the bottom egg was liquidy , we haven't had anything else to eat today so this is too much of a coincidence. I didn't finish the end of mine because it was too wet, but my husband had his mixed up and has been far worse than me..

Fast food place to save your appetite. The food is simple, although it has more variety than other fast food places.

Their south korean chicken burger was despicable. The worst burger I’ve had in my life. Very few edible items on the menu. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Everything else was good, apart from when I ate my chicken burger it looked a bit pink which makes me think that my chicken was not cooked properly. I ate it anyways as I was too hungry to complain and I didn't want to get up out my seat just in case nobody took it. Now I have a dodgy tummy.. hey ho least I had something for lunch today.
