Reina Grill in Oxford

If you take a walk in Bury Knowle Park, you can't miss the savory smell of grilling meat. Reina grill is the source of this smell. I've not tried any burgers or fried chickens, but I tried all the kebabs. My favorite is the chicken doner kebab, the best chicken doner in Oxford.

They seem to have changed the tray from metal to polystyrene so portions are smaller ,but website has not been updated, plus food is not as hot now

We bought two burgers and the burger tasted so bad there was no flavour. The burger buns were mushy and old. Not recommended. Spent over £15 and not worth it.

3 of us ordered kebabs from this store through Uber. Next day all of us had severe diarrhoea and vomited all day. I ll be calling Oxfordshire council to complain and ask for health and safety check

wrong order, it was a meant to be Chicken doner, it was normal done. no salad and no mayo dip

Nice and reliable! The chickien kebabs are plentiful, and the portions generous. It does what it says on the tin, and is a family favourite! A nice hot chicken salad, and lovely coleslaw, too!!

On entering some little fat man was being rude to the staff, then I ordered a mix donner...15 mins later I have my food, after enduring the little fat guy eating his one piece of chicken whilst trying to chat to a non interested girl. So salad OK Chicken donner hard and crispy.. Lamb donner about 6 bits of lamb donner thinly cut. Pitta bread filled with grease, not sure why as there was no kebab juices. Awful guys, will be going to shwarma house from now on.

Order a meal got no chips or drink and food was cold. Ordered cheese and chips tasted like rubber and cold

worse kebab, I've I have ever had! didn't even come as kebab! separate salad,in a tin foil container. £35 for three kebabs! what a Joke. do Not Order frome here!

Took a bit longer then I would have liked, my drink was missing from my meal deal and the delivery driver was quite rude.

Despite ordering exactly the same thing every week for the past few years they still regularly manage to duck it up. Now that there is cheaper and better competition a few doors down they need to buck their ideas up or won’t be here soon.

Your rider never delivered my food am sure he enjoyed eating it.

Wouldn’t go here again, not only did they get the order wrong and put kebab with chips rather than pitta bread but they also but everything in separately, you have to make the kebab up yourself, we eat out as a treat so I don’t have to prepare or cook and then have to prepare anyway. Food was cold too and very very over priced.

Ordered 3 meals worth £40 on deliveroo and received the wrong order for 1 meal. Called the restaurant and they brushed their hands of it and weren't willing to help and just told me to go through deliveroo and they can't do anything about it. Poor service

Missing chips and salad and pita bread

Combination with skewers is very tasty. Grilled wings with garlic sauce is awesome 😎

The food and service here are excellent.

Ordered from here multiple times, and the quality has never dipped. If you're after a kebab fix that doesn't disappoint on all fronts this is for you. I'd go far as to say avoid the vans of Oxford and order from here.

No pitta bread with it and lamb shish was really chewy

Have eaten here before and found it very tasty in the past. Unfortunately I found a pubic hair underneath my chips and will now not eat here again.

Pubic hair found in my second bite of a falafel wrap. Will never set foot in here again, please avoid.

Great place but didn’t realise you have to make your own kebab

I wouldn't usually got out of my way to leave a review. If I ever fancy a kebab I will definitely have to order from here everytime. So happy I took a chance on this place. The portions are amazing, food is fresh, packaged superbly and arrived nice and hot. Delivery driver was not a nice experience but no reflection on the restaurant. Thank you for putting thought into your meals being delivered you have gained a loyal customer!

Quality of food is the aspect of this place that cannot be undermined. Meat and vegetables are always fresh, and it certainly feels like a home-made approach was applied. Definetly the best place for kebab wrap in the UK where I’ve been so far. Staff is always surprisingly friendly, and I personally love the lamps above the tables)

Just ordered a kebab and have ordered many times before and was nice but this was a delivery and it came as 1 pita bread not even cut salad in a box and meat in a box all separate and rang the place to complain and he said do what you Gotta do. Won’t be using this rat hole again

Food order through uber eats was wrong. No attention to detail and no claim back from uber eats. Shambles. Driver was great.

One of the few Turkish restaurants where food is cooked fresh in front of you. The kabab options are there and I like the doner kabab. Wraps are available too. Fried chicken is a nice adjunct to the kababs. Salads are fresh and sauces add to the flavor of food. Dine in space is restricted. It’s more of a takeaway and dine at home. Staff are courteous and truly worth visiting once.

Poor services,waiting ages to get the food and obviously was cold !

So disappointing to only leave 2 stars but this is the 3rd time they have got my order wrong! The chicken Shish is the best around which is why I have persevered so many times however for the price they charge the constant mistakes aren’t justifiable. They always mix the sauce orders up or in tonight’s case, forget the sauce all together! And on the other kebab just add garlic without chilli! The cheesy chips were also like warm and the cheese not melted which demonstrates this. Had to microwave. Considering this was around £25 for 2 large chicken Shish kebabs, a rice and a cheesy chips it’s poor. If they just listened this place would be so good. I called up and although they apologised they didn’t seem interested. Real shame as I’ve recommended them to many people and returned in the Hope previous feedback Would have been listened to but maybe they just don’t care!

Cold food. Wrong order. Probably the worst in Oxford Rude and serve cold food. When you're spending this much money you don't expect everything all squished together. Fries we're soaked in grease from the meat, that looked like it had been put through the washing machine first

Rude liars. Hung the phone up when I tried to rectify their mistake. Apart from the completely messed up order, and terrible customer service, the food they did send was stone cold too. Save yourself the money. Won't be using these cowboys again.

I’ve been loving the mixed diner kebab on top of rice only because the rice used to be tender & warm. But idk why, today the rice was too dry to eat!!

Went there when it first opened and thought this was pretty bad. When there this year 2022, they gave me old chicken which tasted terrible, I wi never return here.

Good prices, chips were OK but their Doner was really poor. Rubbery, tasted old and not fresh. They were very busy - so maybe my Doner was just an old batch.

Had 2 kebabs between us last night and both were absolutely delicious! Plenty of fresh salad in it and plenty of the good stuff too! The gentleman behind the counter is really friendly too, wouldn't even hesitate coming back again!

Good kebab shop have been a customer eversince they opened the shop, happy with the size and prices and everything tastes fresh always. It has great fried chicken as well and anything grilled from shish to doner to burgers is delicious.

Okay .. this is the second time we've ordered from Reina Grill - small doner kebab, salad and a skewer combo of lamb and chicken. It was mostly delicious, except for the lamb shish which had some rather gristly pieces (whereas the first time round the lamb was drop dead delicious and really tender). The chicken shish was, however, awesome! A delicious char, and really tender. Note to self ... when ordering salad, request NO raw onion, as it was smothered in the stuff, and I can't stand it! On this occasion, my bad! The one star drop is because the order had included two dips - garlic mayo and mint yogurt, but instead of the yogurt, they had included a pot of chilli sauce, which we really didn't want as it's just too spicy! That, and the lamb, was a little disappointing. That said, we will definitely order a third time and hopefully it'll be an all-round 5 star meal!

Friendly staff, high quality meats. They even make custom dishes if you're a regular. For example, a double chicken burger! The prices are really good, for 10 wings it's such a bargain. The reasons I gave 4 stars is because they removed the seating area which I personally enjoyed and the doner wrap foil will leave shiny bits of paper in your doner wrap which is quite gross. Make some adjustments to how the wrap is wrapped up in paper, and it will be a 5* rating.

Best burgers and kebabs in Oxford

I have been using Bodrum kebabs on the Cowley Rd for the last 30 years, love the guy's in there, always happy to see me, especially if I haven't been in for a while, and the food is always on point. That said, Reina Grill Headington is just as good and has been consistently good over the last 3 months that we've been customers. We don't eat Turkish food only when we're on our way home from the pub and over the past 30 years we have visited many beautiful places in Turkey 🇹🇷 and met some wonderful people, eaten lots of delicious cuisine. I don't consider myself an expert on Turkish cuisine but I do know the difference between bad, adequate and good food. This is good food. Çok teşekkürler.

Best chicken shish kebab we have ever tasted, absolutely delicious, I highly recommend the mint yogurt sauce. Fresh tasty ingredients and the chicken is always hot, yummm.

Excellent Beef burger and fried chicken.

I eat there every other day and can say they have the best chicken and lamb shish wraps in the city! The ingredients are always fresh and of the highest quality, the garlic mayo sauce is fantastic, and the service is always terrific! Highly recommended.

Small portions for the price. The food is nice but very pricey for the small amount you get. I think the kebab vans nearby are a better deal.

I was very disappointed about the food ad I thought is a new place and would serve nice food. Portions are small for the money they are asking for. Meat was very chewing had not taste and rice was just only boiled. I wouldn't not recommend that place at all

Best chicken kebab in Oxford :)

Was my usual quick fix when working long shifts at the John Radcliffe. Gotten to be very poor recently. Soggy and cold pitta with rubbery kebab meat for 6.80. New go to is dominoes across the road.

Never judge anyone the way they look.

Bad followed by good. So we ordered 2 mixed kebabs and chips, when it arrived it come with no chips, no pita bread. We rang up and complained and they sent us a full replacement meal with everything we originally ordered and a big bottle of coke. So much food I took some to work 👍

Ordered for the first time tonight as a friend recommended and reviews seem impressive. Chicken wrap was divine! Good size portion. Donor wrap was also good (forgot the sauce) but swell. Chips lost a star not many and there not very tasteful rather bland. Wasn't greasy and we don't feel yucky after eating ! Will definitely recommend and become a regular customer.

The sheesh and donor are pretty good actually. Really nice staff as well. Would recommend the wraps and fried chicken as well. Chips could be better-but you can easily go across the road if thats what you're looking for.
