Subway in Exeter

The breakfast sub was missing from the order and was not packed but I was charged. Please give a refund for the missing sub. Thank you

the 6inch chicken and bacon sub came with onions, my son is allergic! so can not eat this. it also has mayo on, also not on the order! you've already had £30 off me and didn't refund me! this is becoming a joke. also the footling wasn't wrapped correctly.

Driver was lovely great delivery. Good wasn’t ideal I asked for no jalapeños and even called the store to make sure they confirmed it said no jalapeños on the ticket and then when my food arrived. It had jalapeños -_- When I attempted to call the store to see if anything could be done about it the call wasn’t picked up.

we were missing a 6 inch not only that but they scrimp on the salads so much! hardly any filling! we had the wrong bottle of cola. However the delivery was in good time and man was polite.

We ordered through just eat which was great, But the items that we recieved were terrible! This place has really gone down hill I'm sorry to say but it has been noticed by so many people. Sandwich hardly had any filling in it and the bread was falling apart.

Literally got given half a salad. The lady who was serving used the same gloves to touch the screen and the same one to touch coins and went back to touching lettuce…. UNHYGIENIC. Utterly disappointed

Been going to this Subway for a long time so I've seen staff come and go. Some of the current staff seem to be rather sedated. For example the 3rd time I've come over in a row there is a queue of over 5-7 people and the staff are moving at snails pace. I know this Sub rarely gets this many people in at once so the least the staff could have done is pickup the pace for like 10min to clear the queue and then resume the snails pace. Food wise the guy put salami on my big bombay and when I asked him if that normally goes on it he said "do you want it" well I'm not gonna ask you to remake it when theres 5 people in the queue and you took 10min to put my sandwitch in the oven. Honestly just wanted to jump over the counter and take over for 15min to show them how its done.

Best Subway restaurant in the city by far. Fast, friendly staff and tasty food.

sandwiches wasnt nice, i ordered a cheese and bacon with onion and cheese and a ketchup toastie, felt like i was just eating an onion and ketchup sandwich , forgot my crisps left unhappy and still hungry waste of £35 as partner said hes wasnt nice.

Was absolutely heartbroken to see you have to order on a machine. Another great company lost to the hands of AI 😭😭😩😢 all I wanted was a yummy PERSONALISED sandwich. Going to have to find a service station or one that hasn’t been gripped by modernisation to get my sandwich. Almost cried was so hungry.

Subway is pretty predictable but this site is sadly understaffed. Single staff member on a Saturday night who didn't seem too confident dealing with lots of irritated customers. It's not fair on the staff that you have got to have them rushed like that.

Swapping bread, ok. Missing ice cream, a headache to sort a credit for. Putting hot sauce in a sandwich that doesn't come with a sauce by default and didn't have a sauce added to it is inept. Not once have I had an order from here without some issue

the waffle fries were cold, dry and chewy. The sauces I asked for along with the waffle fries and beef taco dipper, not included and why oh why would you wrap it all up next to a cold bottle of dr pepper? So a lukewarm drink with a lukewarm lunch, great.

Absolutely appalling 6 pieces of letice in the 6 inch. The way the staff was talking at eachother and customers was with no respect and extremely rude. One staff member was allowed a 10 minute break no more or no less. Out of 3 staff members only one spoke. One lady had her down when dealing with the food. Rember the days when the sandwiches was bursting at the seems.

Time wasn’t a problem. Problem was that for the second time ordering from this restaurant, items were missing! The delivery driver doesn’t want anything to do with it and the store are too busy to pick up the phone despite me trying 18 times to call. No response whatsoever on X. It’s just robbery

On Thursday morning 6/2/25 i went in and had a lovely hot coffee guy was friendly as well as it was very good I've just gone in now 7/2/25 and ask again for a coffee and another guy said do you want a drink i said yes please I'll have a coffee he said oh the coffee machine isn't working it's got to be cleaned out he wasn't interested he would rather mop the floor inside of sorting of the machine so don't go in on a early Friday morning go on a early Thursday morning you get better treatment that's why it's a two star review

Went there, appalling, 1 worker alone with 8 customers in front of him and well over 10 delivery tickets, that was a real struggle, i just left, no point to wait for hours for a sandwich, higher management should be held accountable for its workers conditions and stress, that was unacceptable.

I had to wait over 30 mins to be served , the staff behind the counter kept disappearing around the back. They really did not seem to know what they were doing, no tops for the coffee either. I have always had good service from this establishment..but this was terrible several customer left !

The quality of service was really bad. The staff wearing his jacket which is touching the food his serving. Don’t get me wrong but he got his t shirt uniform on top, I honestly didn’t eat the food.

Placed an order on the app and made my way to collect. Once the app showed my order was ready, I approached the counter to pay. The girl serving told me my order had not been processed. Apologised and asked me to wait whilst my order was made ready. I waited 10mins before I was called forward. I took my order and made my way to work. I opened my order and bit into my sandwich to find I had been given the wrong sandwich. Nothing like I had ordered, other than the bread. Won't be using this outlet again, if any thb.

Wanted a coffee at just after 5am. The guy in the shop said we had to wait 30mins as he was cleaning. We said that you offer 24hr service but he refused to sell us 2 coffees. Don’t offer 24 hrs if you can’t deliver a service when customers arrive.

We have just bought 2 ft longs & 2 6” , although I ended up with 2 6” in place of a ft long, not really an issue but the filling was disgusting! Lack of presentation, and nothing in the sub !!!! Absolute S@&T !! no customer service boys to busy talking in there language, always pop into a Subway where ever I drive around as a healthy option but seriously if you have to use this place keep an eye on what they are doing, obviously a franchise so it’s cost effective to hold back more profits. I truthfully would not recommend this place !

Food was supposed to be ready for collection, it wasn’t I had to wait an extra 20 mins for it. The fillings were all mixed up, chips and chicken bites were cold. Very disappointing.

24hr subway but when I turned up 3 rolls left all brown bread salad looked like 5 days old and staff asleep by counter had to wake them up lolol

I ordered a 6 inch sub meal with vegan cookie. I got a 12 inch sub no sauces and no cookie!! Poor delivery driver waited over an hour for them to prepare the food! Wish I’d been able to tip him!!

The last few times I have gone in here, everyone behind the counter is chatting away ignoring customers waiting to be served and ignoring the beeping to get my food out of the toaster. The salad they put in is next to nothing and there were areas that had none whatsoever so I had to ask them to put more in but then I got dirty looks from the person. I have to mentally prepare myself to go here as I know I am going to be annoyed when I leave. The only good thing about this subway is it’s convenient location

I always love Subway, but the English lady taking the money was so rude to her colleagues. I felt so upset for them. She was condescending and made them feel like they were worthless. So disappointed.

Served us so rudely tuesday night 22.10.24 and last time when I visited same rude behaviour was there and he was wearing airpods in ears and just was so so fast on me so that I can go away fast and he continue his talkings over phone Management must take a step abouth this as this was my second visit and the same boy was there!!! Very arrogant and bad behaving :( Never gonna visit here again

Wrong order sent this is not the first time this has happened

Worst experience at Subway Sowton yesterday. I genuinely use subway as a comfort food and I genuinely enjoy the service. However today was a different story. A larger chap with dark hair and glasses started shouting at me for no reason just because i ordered my food for click and collection and not at the counter? Speaking to his colleague extremely rudely and it made me and my partner feel really uncomfortable. I get it’s busy and he was obviously stressed but there is no need to take it out on paying customers and stuff. If anything I was embarrassed for him. Will never come back here again and I’m also going to write a formal complaint to the local manager. (Lastly he slammed our subs down with anger at the till) shocking service.

Not really happy with how did my sandwich.

Whilst there was nothing particularly wrong with the food I’m not certain why the store is 24/ hrs as the staff member I dealt with at night was rude in fact the words ‘ for ££££sake’ was uttered as I walked in. I sympathise with the fact he was trying to do I guess out of hours cleaning but he could at least wait till after the customers presence to rant.

The completely wrong Sub was given to me. ordered a meatball sub, and received a pepperoni and bacon which quality control looked really poor. Very disappointed.

Wasn't really any atmosphere here wasn't busy at all. The service was brilliant really helpful staff. Food was great. Apart from not having certain things on the menu (deserts) but it's all good. I had the Philly cheese steak I think it was and it was amazing on the new jalapeno bread.

Delivery was great but wrong choice of bread, waffle chips were absolutely stone cold not even warm and sauce was good served but was missing. Reallly disappointing

Three bottles of drink packed on top of 3 sandwiches so they were all destroyed. All 3 cookies were missing from the order. Tamper stickers on the bag were open on delivery. Shocking all round, not impressed for nearly £40

Delivered the wrong food and didn’t care that it was wrong

Great food and great service as always. However, as per last visit, floor and all tables were dirty and we had to ask for a cloth to wipe a table down before we could eat.

The employee who served me was extremely rude. When I asked for extra toppings, they sighed loudly and rolled their eyes, making me feel unwelcome. This was not the kind of service I expected from Subway. I suggest the staff receive better training in customer service. This experience left me feeling very frustrated, and I hope the management takes steps to improve the atmosphere for future customers.

I have never experience such bad service in my life! Delivery driver soent newrly an hour trying to find my place i saw him go down the same way 7 times and made no attempt to come near my block, delivery driver made no attempt to ring me at all!

I went in with my friend and immediately was stared down, i asked for hearty Italian bread and the woman just goes ‘no we don’t have that’ so i said ok then just italian. She begins to spread only 1 and a half scoops of the tuna i asked for with a disgusting moody face. As she moves it along to the salad section and i proceed to tell her what i would like on my sub, she puts 2 black olives on and 2 pickles in a 6 inch sub. She then asked ‘anything else?’ i said ‘yeah, more of the topping since i’m paying for it’. She may aswell have threw it on the table after half wrapping it. After that, i should have just left and said eat it yourself. However, as it took 20 minutes to get there i was hungry so i continued to pay, not a word from her. Not knowing if my payment went through or not yet, she looks at me as if i was stupid. My sub wasn’t even wrapped properly and was next to her rather than handing me it or atleast moving it over to me a bit. I have never had such bad service in a subway. she didn’t even crack a smile, it was not busy in there so ‘work stress’ is no excuse. I work in a busy fast food place and always make sure the customers experience is 10/10. However this lady has a face that needed a sl@p. Do not recommend.

Came here for dinner Friday evening 2/08/24, me and my partner have been to this subway a few times but this time the customer service was awful! The man serving us wearing glasses was constantly swearing behind the counter every time more customers joined the line, throwing the cheese back into the pot with a stroppy manner, when he took our sandwiches out the oven he put them down on the counter so harshly the bread broke off of both including the customer ahead of us and also rushed the wrapping so our sandwiches weren’t fully wrapped up. I don’t usually complain but the attitude we received from the man serving us wasn’t pleasant .
