Waste of time. Customer service is worst

Very slow service and the bread was so stale, half of it fed the birds instead of our children. My sister has an allergy and the server proceeded to try and touch everything with the same gloves. We had to request he changed his gloves before making any more sandwiches. Maybe some more training is required?

Service so slow, wasn’t that many in but 3 customers walked out . I gave it a 5 more minutes got fed up.SO SLOW

Service was adequate. Young lad, fairly hasty and got everythung right. But the SMELL. the whole back end of the nisa (the subway section) completely STUNK. the inside of the subway looked disgusting. I decided to go in and try this "footlong churro" ive seen on insta/tiktok. They didnt BOTHER to put sugar on. The churro was cold. Not even room temperature, COLD. it tasted stale. Everything in there looked stale. It was disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs.

The girl and boy who were on on the 9th of July made me 2 subways but I think he were just a learner, anyway I'm from Yorkshire visiting the lake district and asked for a steak and cheese with lettuce, Tom's,cucumber, and onion and 2 sauces, she proceeded to put all the salad on to grill it, I said " you don't do that, I said " you grill the meat and cheese and then when it's grilled then you add the salad and sauce, she was adamant her way was correct,anyway I've been in today and a lovley lad served me,and I asked him not to put the salad on till after everything else, meat/cheese was on, and he said" we dont" I said. " well you tell that to the girl who was on on Tuesday cos she did, and who wants red hot salad etc, anyway he apologised for her , she needs to learn her job correctly

Spent £8 for a sandwich on uber eats and it got here and i’m not being funny you would think they stomped it and molested it. It was mashed up and stuck to the paper it was wrapped in.

Fat. Arrogant. Ignorant lazy cow behind the counter needs sacking. She is a joke. Don't do the sandwich anymore that is clearly on the board in front of me, and all the items off the sandwich are there in front of me in the sandwich display. Ignorant horrible excuse of a person. If you dislike your job so much, don't work there.

Ate within 2 minutes of getting order, Hash browns cold certainly not freshly cooked and missing sauce. Poor meal.

Do you know what, I never write reviews but as a former Subway employee myself, this establishment is an embarrassment to the franchise. I have been here many many times and I've never had a positive experience. I don't know where they hire their staff from but they are the dopiest bunch of people I have ever seen who don't have a brain cell between them. The incompetence is unbelievable. Every single person who has ever served me works in total slow motion. Half of them don't know how to build the sandwiches on the menu. Another couldn't even work out what the Saver Sub was, overcharged me, didn't know what to do when I said that wasn't the right price and looked at me so blankly, I ended up paying twice what it was supposed to be just to get out of the place. Needs a serious overhaul.

AVOID!! I literally had to walk out, disgusting attitude of the girl serving, I have never been made to feel like I did today. I asked the girl her name, Natalie. Judging by other reviews this obnoxious girl needs to be sacked as this has obviously been going on for some time and Subway seem to think its okay to treat their customers to this level of service. If you are that angry and upset about your job Natalie then find another one. I will be writing to Subway head office also.

There was a sub mix-up, cheesy bites were cold and cookies really old, I mean really, really hard to bite into. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

Avoid. Rude woman (wearing glasses if this helps the owner sack her) told my daughter & I it would be a 15 minute wait as ‘they were too busy’. The place was empty.

Fat ginger lass is disgusting. Not only to look at but her manners also. Rude to staff and customers. I would rather miss my dinner out than go there and spend 1 second in her presence.

The staff member was friendly despite what must have been such a dull part of their shift (in-between meal times) The shop is within a small fuel station. The subway area looked clean and tidy but it looked like they were making the best of a shabby old building. The staff member was knowledgeable about allergies but checked with me before doing things... To make sure it was right (which is fantastic service). Standard prices, standard subway menu ... Im gluten free (not celiac) and I enjoyed my takeout salad from there without any issues. My friend had a standard sandwich and they enjoyed theirs too. Friendly staff is such a bonus.

Hours were apparently updated by the business 5 weeks ago and shows they are open till half 8 in the evening. Went in at 10 past 7 pm and lady at the counter said they were closed.

I'm a regular and the bigger ginger lady is ALWAYS and rude snappy with seemingly no care for the customer experience. No customer service skills and manners are non-existent. I have actively been avoiding going to this subway for this reason - I don't go to a sandwich shop to be made feel bad for ordering a sandwich

Fat ginger vile rude server, very abrupt, no customer service skills. Worst experience we have ever had, disgusting manners 😒 maybe needs to reconsider her job choice if she doesn't enjoy it that much to be so rude to customers.

2nd time in a row ive had to walk out of the place. Last time id waited in the que for nearly half an hour to reach the front only to be told they were now shutting so they could have dinner. Fair enough, went in 6 months later for the same scenario but just to be told there were no ingredients for a salad at all and i should have something else as its a sandwhich shop. Given up now. Shame as its the only one for miles. Go to carlisle instead if you can.

Larger ginger lady was rude and had no customers service skills or manner. A customer in-front of me asked her for a meal deal, she replied, and I quote, ‘get yourself a bag of crisps then’. Other shorter dark haired girl was clearly new but was very polite and trying her best. Based on previous reviews this ginger lady is clearly a problem and management should seriously look into this, miserable member of staff

Ginger lass was realy rude to me and my freinds had an awful attitude not very good customer service was also rude to the woman behind us in the queue some disaplyn is needed .

Subway is set inside the petrol station shop towards the rear like an aladdins cave. service was good as was the sandwich, much appreciated because it was late and I'd been travelling for a while

The shop is a joke limited sandwiches aragont staff filthy surface they wear gloves but don’t change for next customer and they have been handling money worst subway by far been in lots of different ones this one is a utter discrace

Sun 14/11 The shop wasnt busy and there were two young women serving. The first was very rude and abrupt thankfully the young lady doing salad and checkout was lovely. We are an older couple and I think the first young lady was irritated when we were unsure which bread we wanted and when we asked her to change her gloves it just got worse. Our daughter is manager of a Subway in Scotland and suggested we complain but we dont like to do that, in these current times and with basic wage being so low I imagine its not the best job to have having to put up with customers who dont always know what they want. I blame management and suggest that staff need better training and support. Our food was okay but the experience was spoiled by the attitude of one staff member

More than liked it - 4.6 Stars. New starter, possibly called Ben, made the best subway I've had in a long time, service could have been quicker on the salad but above anything else they had a smile and thank you.

Ageta provided great customer service to group of 8 but it will be appreciated if management could provide training to other staff. I dont know the women name but she was very rude and was shouting for taking orders. Kindly pay some attention on her.

The glass covering the food was filthy, the member of staff serving us had a very ‘couldn’t be arsed’ attitude and half of the selection was unavailable! Only had 2 of the 8 types of bread. Only reason for 2 star not 1 was the sandwhich I eventually received was pretty good. Disappointed considering the price I paid but the ingredients used were good and final product was acceptable. This being said, will not return.

Always good but today tried a wrap and found it even better than the sandwiches! Definitely a new favourite.... Highly recommend..

Good subway in a petrol station not far of the M6. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was exactly what you'd expect from a subway, subs, salads, wraps etc

Service appalling. Was told not to order the teriyaki chicken as it "tastes terrible", was then asked to specify how many chilli flakes I wanted... Utterly feckless staff, but then can make an okay sandwich.

Absolutely terrible, no gluten free options available and no salad boxes, waste of time and very unhelpful staff!

Subway at the garage in Penrith was a typical Subway experience. It seemed a little more expensive than a standard one but much cheaper than eating on the motorway! We each had a footlong Sub keeping a half back for later before an early bed as we flew the next morning at 6.35am.

Rude female staff that should not be employed. Don't ask any questions about meal deal prices as they become frustrated and flippant and also bad mouth you to other waiting customers when you walk away.

Arrived at 07.30pm, on a Thursday evening to find the coffee machine out of use and being cleaned and the Toasting machine switched off and also being cleaned ready for closing, advised only cold sandwiches now available!!!. The website and store times states closing time as 8.00pm, but their server advised me they have been partially closing up early for some time which I know is now true, as the last time I called in some weeks ago the coffee machine was again off, and out of use,being cleaned ready for closing, This Subway outlet is getting steadily worse. I had been calling in every three to four weeks since it opened many years ago , but would not now bother, as my next visit I might find no one their and that they have already packed up and gone home? If closing time is 8.00pm then operations stop at this time, not 30 or 40 minutes earlier, so that at 8.00 pm the staff can finish and walk out the door!!
