Subway in Northumberland

We came for a quick lunch and ordered a sandwich and a salad. After paying for this we were told there was no forks for the salad and there was nothing they could do. If we had know this we wouldn’t have ordered. The staff were very dismissive of the problem, offering no help or solution. Shocking from the manager on shift

Just popped in to get a snack to watch the film next door at the VUE, have not got much idea of what to have, i was served by a young person called Ben, his help and advice was spot on, so me and my wife watched the film eating and drinking, the sandwiches were spot on not forgetting the crisps and drinks. Many thanks Ben and we will be back.

I had to call the health inspector and he watched them with cross contamination because although i ask them every time to change there gloves they still donot they must never read there reviews as they all stay there is a problem for poor hygiene

Rude staff, seem completely incompetent and don’t understand any safety in regards to food preparation. Wouldn’t ‘risk’ ordering from here again

i went today ordered 2 footlongs the lady cutting the bread and loading the meat i had to asker her to change her gloves before she did my sandwiches as she had not bothered from serving the last customer, the next lady adding the salad i had to ask her to change her gloves as well which she was not happy with and then i had to ask her to clean the knife to which she started to argue with me still not cleaning it that's how you get cross contamination, i have sent a complaint to subway direct but i bet they just ignore it

Went there had to ask the lady serving 1st to change her gloves after serving the last customer and when she came to cut the sandwich had to stop her using a dirty knife she was not happy I said something

This is the worst subway I’ve ever had the misfortune of visiting. Unfortunately this is our local subway so don’t have much of a choice unless we want to drive to other local towns which we often do without hesitation or if lunch break time allows. Come rain or shine this subway never fails to have something missing from the menu. Last few trips have consisted of; - Selected / majority breads not available - Most salad sold out (tomatoes, peppers, onions...) - No salad boxes - No bottled drinks - No chipotle sauce - No cookies - Drinks machines broken ... I could go on ... Staff seem not bothered about anything let alone the quality of the sandwich they serve. They’re regularly split in two making it hard/messy to eat. They provide a lack of sauce and seem put out when you ask them to top it up. Again, could go on... There’s also one member of staff who consistently (on every visit) touches his face mask wearing his gloves then immediately touches the food (just what you want in the current world circumstances). Don’t know who does the ordering here but they’re worse than the weather reporters for getting it wrong.

First time visiting the order total was wrong and they over charged, second time visiting stood in the queue for 10 minuets to get to the counter to be told “We have no bread”

Been to this subway many times food always fresh, place nice and clean, staff friendly what more do you want.

Absolutely nutsacks, she started shouting at me because I wanted to buy something but she said it was closed even though it shuts in 3 minutes what a joke don’t come here

twice in the last 2 weeks i have been there and there was no stock, first time no Italian bread and today no ham or cookies i think the person that dose the ordering need to have a word with them self

I visit here with my family it was very nice sandwiches very clean and was fresh too and lots of choice thanks guys weldone xx

Popped into my local Subway for Spicy Italian and not sure what's going on. Have the staff been restricted on the salad portions. They more or less counted out every bit of salad and when they'd done I couldn't believe I could still see the meat. Something strange was also wrong with the bread as it fell apart when holding and believe me it couldn't have been the contents.... Would love to know if this is a one off or if this will be my last visit to Subway?

Usual subay fare the salad didn't seem too fresh however the staff were attentive bit of a wait tho.

Went there for quick lunch. Great that you can choose your own salad and sauces etc. Staff very friendly and efficient, quality of food very good and fresh! Lots of choices, highly recommend!

Always the same At this cramlington branch. Miserable annoyed staff that hate doing work for Paying customers and huff and puff when Serving. They seem fine giggling with Co workers but dare to ask for your order. Absolute disgrace. How are these people assessed to work with the public. 3rd and last time I will be here.

Visited with kids for quick snack - female staff ( with blond hair) was the most miserable person I have met Hilariously after she had finished serving the person behind us she started leaning back on the counter complaining to the lad who appeared from the back “I hate this place, I should get paid for 2 staff instead of the minimal wage as I do the work of 2 pellets ! “ Perhaps she could have swept the floor or cleaned the tables as the place was disgusting

Every time I visit Subway my taste buds start to juice up. And when you get to the counter the choices are never ending. First you choose what bread you want, and whether 6" or 12" sandwich,and then choose what you want in it. Chicken, bacon, beef, sauces, salads. Never ending choices. Delicious.

I came in at 6pm and there was a que foaming at the crisps part. There were two people on, two young girls. The one who was doing salad was keep happening to go on the till to take people money. I think on a night time there should be one more person so that the que keeps flowing...in total I waited 10 minuets to be served for my sandwhich. But overall a perfect experience and will definitely return!

As I go very early in the morning I am made to feel like I am stopping the manager 'jazz' from getting on with her prepping. Never smile & comes over like everything is a bother to her! I am beginning to dread going.

why do subway add salt to tuna they ruin what could be a nice sandwich.and your left with a raging thirst and thats after eating only half off a 6 inch sandwich. not very good will be giving subway a miss in future.

I go here all the time and I'm getting fed up of them being h out of stock of something almost every time I go wish there was one closer to home as I would most certainly be going there instead!

The sandwich was well made and staff were very friendly will be visiting here again and was very fresh and very full and very nice .Well worth the money

Hoy he visitado con mi familia después del cine. La cola era enorme, fácil 25 personas delante de mí. Que es cuando recuerdo que era un día de celebración: el hombre vestido como un sándwich de metro le dio! La oferta era comprar un pop grande y conseguir un metro gratis. El servicio fue muy rápido y el personal era increíble, incluso cuando le dije que sí a mayo en el bocadillo equivocado, ella cambiaron sin más preguntas. Todo el personal muy amable que estaban trabajando muy duro. ¡Bien hecho!

Otro sandwich pan duro desde este metro que deja la puerta abierta donde el pan está almacenada. Le encanta terminar duro y seco en un extremo. He tenido que cambiar de chapatis aquí como están selladas bajo el mostrador.

Buen menú y la comida es estupenda. Me encanta poder tener lo que quiero en mi bocadillo sin embargo nunca parece ser suficiente personal. Fui en la noche y la cola estaba hasta la puerta con un chico pobre, tratando de hacer todo. Me rendí y nos fuimos a otro lado.

They should kick big mouth teenagers out of there not eating as it doesn't make visiting subway the best experience!!!!

Fuimos para sándwich rápido antes cine última noche y 40 minutos. 3 personas en cola delante de nosotros con un chico y una chica que sirve. Tardamos 35 minutos en llegar los sándwiches de sub. Tenía una "máquina de sandwich de señal en formación". pero...

My bf & I went for a "quick" late lunch approx 3pm. There was two customers already sat down and two others in the queue. There was a young girl making the sandwiches and simultaneously on the till. A girl restockimg the fridge full of drinks front of house. My bf asked for a coffee but was told there was no milk! Then a couple came in queued for a long timevand then was told the same. Then there was an almighty argument the lady was very angry with the employee. There was no apology from the lack of milk just a shrug of the shoulders attitude. The couple walked out. Meanwhile my bf was still queuing. The girl filling up the fridge was now flirting with a male customer who had come in . The girl behind the counter was gawping at them and was more interested in that then even serving customers. Suddenly out of no where this boy young again popped his head from around back. Disgraceful place to eat sandwich tasted nice. I wont be visiting there in the hurry.

Clean very busy and order was processed as only subway can like a convary belt can only real complaint I have was when I opened it hadn't cut it in half more awarkered to eat a foot long sub than a 6inch in the car!!!
