Subway in Cheshire West and Chester

Went in this store today Saturday the 30th of November well I won’t be going again………………. Went to do Christmas shopping as new to the area and thought oh we will have a subway why not biggest mistake ever!!!!!!!! What a joke no food hygiene followed at all some of the cucumber had gone off but still put it on to go orders 🤮 all of the toppings still frozen with frost all around the food the work surfaces disgusting, tall guy thin with glasses didn’t get his name wow what’s his problem 🤨 minimum wage minimum effort comes to mind no manners whatsoever ever doesn’t want to work there does he and it’s pretty obvious could hear him moaning about working Christmas Eve and Boxing Day from the sub station doesn’t do his job and doesn’t acknowledge nor does he care about the customers was stood behind a man and woman who he blatantly ignored and was arsey even going to talk to his mates on the table near the door could hear the whole conversation still when paying for my sub the store floor their was food all over it the store seems like the manager doesn’t care nor do subway care about the store at all but what I will say the other worker small guy dark skin guy couldn’t do anymore for you so polite pleases and thank yous do you want to make it a meal what drink etc

Dirty tables and floor when came into store. Chris who served myself seemed like I was disturbing him from doing nothing. Definitely no manners, can’t be bothered attitude the whole time serving me. Later he “cleaned” the tables with his hand, no cloth or spray to disinfect the seating area, pushing more dirt onto the floor spent time talking to his mates at a table then walking away leaving the dirt on the floor, this has been the attitude of this particular member of staff numerous times we’ve visited and he’s displayed a doesn’t give af attitude and that customers are not his priority further to this review I will be contacting subway head office.

It's subway, decent food staff did their job good enough

I recently visited the Subway at Chester Retail Park and was extremely disappointed with the customer service. The man preparing the sandwiches was incredibly rude and lacked any semblance of patience. It felt like we were an inconvenience to him, even though we were paying customers and not asking for anything for free. The lady working there was also unpleasant and did not make any effort to provide a positive experience. Overall, the poor attitude and lack of basic courtesy from the staff made for a very unpleasant visit. I will be reconsidering my options before returning to this location.

Shop empty and 3 men filling up containers so not busy. My sandwich was made OK although the assistant was monosyllabic ,not until he finished the sandwich did he hear I also wanted two sides. The meatball side was not heated to melt the cheese and the torn half roll for the garlic cheese slice only had half melted cheese with no garlic oil on it. At checkout I was told bluntly that my subcard (with a number of points on it) was obsolete and I had been emailed 6 weeks before to warn me. I have since checked & I have NOT been emailed so all my points have been lost through Subway's incompetence made worse by the sullen till operative with the charm of a dead fish. Not surprising the shop was empty.

Food was extremely nice, but customer service is absolutely shocking. I think it's very important that the staff here (subway chester, greyhound) are given a course in customer service. The man that served myself and my daughter was very rude, and had an obvious 'can't be arsed' attitude. We were completely ignored when we arrived, although there was no queue, they were too busy sorting online orders for delivery. A polite acknowledgement would have been enough but to be completely ignored for 5mins I think is disgusting. Manners costs nothing..... remember your please and thank you guys!

Lovely sandwiches, efficient friendly staff. Avoid the standard coffee, it's very watery, can barely taste the coffee. Might be worth upgrading to something with some flavour.

Really unfriendly person serving. I asked about having salad on a certain sandwich.. the menu had changed and I was not aware. He just pointed and told me to look.. unfortunately I did not understand the menu and the communication from the staff member was not helpful. So when the sandwhich was made .. it was not correct. When I commented about this he threw the sandwhich in the bin and sighed so loud. It made me feel uncomfortable.. he did make me another sandwhich. Which I was greatful of. But I will kot be going back there

A busy subway that's clean and has competitive prices. I was served quickly and staff are friendly and helpful.

The lady behind the desk seemd pretty annoyed when I stepped in. I ordered my wrap and then she started to drop the salad and said "Jesus". She basicalley threw my wrap in fron of me. I asked her for some nepkins as there was non in the holder. She threw them in front of me and again "jesus". She was extremely rude.

Blonde lady serving bread and main toppings at 14.30 on 25.02.23 was condescending and rude. Mocked me when I made my order. Franchise owner should be ashamed to employ such a rude person.

5 staff in shop - 2 in rear kitchen area 1 stocking up drinks fridge that was pretty full 2 taking orders . The order takers one was a trainee helped by another. 3 customers in shop waiting ages whilst numerous staff got on with everything other than dealing with customers. I ordered a cheese 6" sub. I was given 2 extremely thin slices of cheese once toasted I was unable to taste it !! What a joke

Only 2 customers and took what felt like forever. Very slow, almost walked out out one point. Usually very quick. But can't knock the food.

Rejected my military discount card and said they ‘only accept nhs cards’ even though their website states otherwise.

This experience was very rubbish the man serving me didn't seem like he wanted to be there whispering to other staff members while serving attitude to the job was not there didn't even offer me a bag or napkin i will not be going here anymore.

Staff are rude and don't even look like they want to be there my 3 year old has more maners and a better attitude then the staff in there its a joke AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU like being treated like mud

One of the larger subways in the area. Attendants waiting to take our order, smiles on their faces, helpful and efficient. Certainly go back for more.

The reason iv given 1 star is because of what I witnessed today. I’m a vegetarian so when I ask for a vegan patty I don’t want meat infested gloves all over my food so yes I will ask you to change your gloves if you don’t already change them I don’t appreciate being huffed and puffed at for it. On top of that the salad section you expect it to be meat free well guys I hate to break it to you I just witnessed sweetcorn being pulled off meatball marinara and being put back into the container ready to use on my vegan patty err no thank you! When I told them about it I got huffed and puffed at and then the knife used for cutting meat subs just got wiped down with a dry tissue again ready to use on my vegan patty no thanks! Won’t be going back!

Staff were extremely rude and were more interested in talking among themselves than serving me. Then getting mad when i told them it was wrong. A massive congratulations to the woman in the purple top serving at 13.00 on Wednesday the 13/04 she managed to not listen to me when i asked to make it a meal then call me stupid. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Food was good but staff is rude and stingy. They didn’t welcome us when we entered the shop and it looked like they were in a rush even if there was literally just us (we went at 3.30pm)… fun thing is that the person who served us was the Store Manager!!

Terrible, rude staff, should not be allowed to work with the general public. They are consistently like this and have got every order I've ever placed wrong. Use any Subway but this one!

Horrible staff , stingy and just rude . Tried to give them feedback regarding their services and the reply was “mh-hm, mh-hm” Asking me a question then turning around to speak with their colleagues about tv shows , disgusting. Wish there was a 0 star review. The manager needs to do something about this ASAP , those people can’t work with public .

Just like any other subway i guess nothing spectacular, customer service was ok, was keep to covid rules.

The assistant wasn't very friendly or welcoming. Wearing masks made it difficult to understand what he was saying and that seemed to annoy him. We had 2 portions of the potato wedge crispies which were quite cold and so they were soggy.

Food was fine however we had to yell out to be served as we were stood inside waiting for 3-5 minutes with no sign of a staff member.

Not great at all order a foot long meatball Mariana and and extra pot of meatballs and all but 3 of the meatballs we rock hard to the point I pushed a fork into one and the Resistance from it made the fork snap whilst I was in the shop showing them how hard the meatballs were

Didn't have anything to eat while I was there but it was busy and the food llked good. I just had coffee which was very nice staff where very pleasant..

Absolutely dreadful....asked for toasted....forgot to toast, then said I never asked....too busy messing about and laughing....then at the till asked for a coffee......no coffee.....didn't hear me.....(Message to manager.....get a grip of your staff...the place you are running is a holiday park....well that's what your staff obviously think)....won't be visiting in the future

Very friendly service lovely food

1 peice of bacon for a 6 inch bacon sub, more brown sauce then bacon. Just observed your delivery of veg, shabby old van with two men that clearly haven't washed their clothes in weeks and smoking in the van, I think I'll go elsewhere for breakfast next time.

Good food but unfortunately I've just been in and the staff are encouraging people to not self distance as they are calling people forward to order when there is no room so I just had 3 people all around a foot away from me with no mask on breathing down my neck I always use this branch but not any more

The guy in charge there today was too worried what the other four employees were doing than what he was doing. Our sandwiches were cold by the time he had stopped faffing about wondering what everyone else was doing, and going on breaks than the two customers in the shop. Deliveroo and Just Eat staff were waiting on collections which effected the production of shop sandwiches.

Went here this morning for breakfast was lovely had the poached eggs and cheese on a multi seed 6 inch and a drink my partner had the mega which was sausage bacon egg and cheese and a latte was really tasty great value for money the lady who served us was really helpful and friendly xxxx

I visited recently and the staff were extremely miserable and had zero customer service skills. Service was slow compared to other subways I have visited. When I asked for extras it always seemed like it was an issue and the salad was just thrown on. There was also a girl working with false nails on which, from experience, is not allowed when working with food. When I eventually got my sandwich it tasted off and I've not felt right since!

Staff work efficiently and quickly served through everyone. However, when it came to drink dispenser... me and one other customer asked twice that 7up needs to change and it never happened. So I couldn’t drink anything else as I only drink 7up so I paid £1 for a drink that I could never even have. I left subway thirsty, having to buy another drink elsewhere.

Just had a Just eat delivery from here, excellent salad and sub. Sandwich artists at work!

23/08/18 placed our order for our chosen subway, looked down at the meats & salad as the young man prepared our order. Noticed the meats & salad were covered it tiny flies with larger ones buzzing around too!! Pointed this out to the young man serving us and declined our order. He looked quite surprised as he wafted the flies & we walked out!! Absolutely disgraceful and disgusting place 🤢
