Subway in Reading

Store will not allow the 30 PCt foot long discount via app , claiming it was not scanning. Had to pay full price plus very poor customer service. Faraz the manager replied to admit the app can be unreliable but to try again. Asked for a further response but he ignored me and will not escalate it

Dirty inside and terrible customer service. They refuse to honour any app discount then blame their system

This subway is full of staff that are not very helpful. I tried using the subway app But no one cared enough to explain how it works as it was not scanning. Also when trying to place my order they would mumble and not speak clearly with bad attitude. Will not be returning.

Very staff,I have been eating from this subway in the last two years never had an issue but this time he gave me a cold sandwich, when I made a complaint, he was blaming me that I’m laying to him. His name is saman. Very disappointed ☹️

If you would like value for your money please AVOID This Subway. Most stingiest subway I have ever been to. I have been to many subways they aren't this stingi in serving food. They will take a scoop of meet and put half of it back on to the container before putting it in your sub or salad bowl. The one on Wokingham Road is lot better and very generous generous. AVOID AVOID AVOID, NOT WORTH THE MONEY. And most of the staff are from Nepali origin who I believe known to the owner where they don't like giving people value for their money. PLEASE READ OTHER COMMENTS YIU WILL GET IT.

If you are driving to this place you need to avoid this. it is just your box standard subway but you are sure to get a parking ticket as the private parking operates in the area use these shops as a lure to hand parking tickets. you must avoid parking around these areas. I have been to this locality twice and both time got parking tickets.

Subway at it's best is only ever mediocre but it's familiar and typically consistent across locations. This location is perhaps one of the worst I've been to. They skimp on toppings. Also on the second and final visit I made there, I got an Italian BMT which includes 3 types of meat. The person (whom I believe to be the manager) who prepared the bread, meat, and cheese for my sandwich only put two types of meat on it. When she handed the sandwich to the young lady who did the toppings, the second staff member asked why there was only two meats. The first lady shushed her and it immediately became clear that she was hoping I didn't notice. I spoke up and made it clear to the first lady that I had seen the entire exchange. I ended up getting a discount on the sandwich because they were out of whichever meat she had left off. If they had just said they were out, I wouldn't have been bothered but because they were dishonest and tried to hide it from me, they ensured I would never go back. My recommendation to management is to first, be honest, and second, stop skimping on toppings. Whatever small amount of money you save on toppings is insignificant to the amount of business you'd get if you just made good sandwiches with generous toppings.

Dry bread for pigeons in Subway on offer now. Only £7 for dry bread with a squirt of sauce and some onions. The rest of the ordered toppings left the sandwich before if got delivered. Can’t wait to order again for me and my fellow birds. Unbelievable.

The gentleman taking the order was clearly new and in training, however the supervisor was very attentive and helped ensure that the ordering process wasn't too laboured. The resulting Chicken and Turkey rasher Caesar salad was delicious. Lots of fresh crunchy ingredients. Only shame is I'd have preferred normal bacon, but hadn't realised this was a Halal establishment before making the journey.

subways are same where ever you go , same taste and service , its recommended by every one so what to say else

Subways are getting smaller far too often and becoming alot less value for money compared to other places like elles baguettes. The subs are generally put together with speed and not alot of care and the amount of cheese and meat is getting smaller and smaller. When they are put together well they do taste good but when not it just becomes a nightmare

Nice staff , and a great chicken and cheese sub.

Female staff there are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Avoid the male working there. Always rude, offhand and obstructive.

This is a halal store. So no bacon

Told yoshbaya that i am asthmatic and examed which means I can't wear a mask. She also asked me personall questions which she does not have a right to ask. She served deliveroo driver who was not wearing mask in front of other customers and refused to serve me.

I was so happy to see its open late. They ran out of most of the cookies by the end of the day so wasn't able to get one. But yeah over all it was good.

Depends on the day, staff can be ok but most of the time they're not very happy and unhelpful - seems like they want to be there. They also started cleaning at 7pm (when they don't shut until 9pm) so all the 'salad' was being served from a trolley...also grabbed the food without gloves?!

Good food. Generous portions and friendly staff. I like their Italian herb baguettes. Halal.

Rude and unhelpful staff. The lady at the checkout was more welcoming but the boy didn't want to be there and was very unhelpful with the questions. Ruined the experience for me.

Food was cold. Nachos were like rubber. The staff were quite hard to understand as they were like zombies when they were talking. Overall staff need improving. P.s ridiculous prices!

Had a relaxing light lunch out with my daughter whilst our cars were being washed at the hand-wash located in Tesco. I'm not really a Subway fan like the rest of my family but they now do nachos, which I enjoyed whilst my daughter got stuck into her sub

Halal Subway, this particular store is either very busy or very quiet. Service is good, no complaints.

Good place to stop by and have a subway. Next to TESCO and at a perfect location on Oxford Street to halt, have a meal and carry on with your work. Visited a couple of times and staff is good. It also has washroom facility.

Had breakfast here! All I can say is the service was first class received! I wish more companies offered this high level of customer service! 10/10 plus breakfast was just right!
