I ordered through Just eat. The rice were so salty and with no value. I will not be ordering food from this place again for my family. Too salty food with no value I think the management has been changed!

Terrible food, tried this about 5 times as it was around the corner and to give them the benefit of the doubt. Disappointed every time. Food bland and stomach ache the next day every time. Avoid Just in case you want to roll the dice it's cash only

Ordered for delivery at 17:25, website says you're open. Phoned three times and alas it's now 18:30 no answer, no response, so just canceled it online. Order at 15:00 to arrive just after we got home... Very poor effort and just lost customers, by the looks of it it, were not the first

Terrible!! Everything that’s possibly bad about a Chinese takeaway or food in general. To start with it was late for delivery, secondly after looking at the food it was all very small portions, it was stated that if you spend over £25 you get a free can of drink (no free can) prawn crackers were those disgusting tasting thin nasty things (and stale) , the ribs were cut up in tiny pieces and amounted to about 2-3 full ribs at most, the conton rice noodles where bland, awful texture and had a couple of tiny bits of meat in, think you get the point. The rest of the food was the same, shocking!! This has got to be the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had, and I have them weekly, as bad as wan choi!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

we waited two hours for our food, we figure that’s fine, if the restaurant is busy then there’s nothing we can do. but, our drinks were warm and we had to stick them in the fridge whilst we ate and we ordered the sweet and sour chicken balls, which comes with ten pieces of chicken, but only enough sauce to cover three. this combined with the wait was just not worth it and i’ll be sticking to my regular chinese place from now on.

Ordered the salt and pepper munchie box it was mostly chips nothing really good about it at all first time I went here and probably the last

Took more than 2 hours to be delivered due to only having one driver. Food was nice but this is poor for Saturday!

Bland, cardboard like chicken satay, tough chewy Chiu sum chicken, overly sweet sauce with Kung po chicken. Lots of Singapore rice noodles.

Portions are generous, good amounts of meat and veg but it’s all very bland… i had to add my own seasoning to bring the taste out. I had House special rice (which I expected to be fried rice), chicken with Chinese mushroom and bamboo shoots with oyster sauce and deep fried shredded chicken ( it was supposed to be spicy but actually it tasted like sweet and sour)

Food was cold and greasy, overall taste not very nice! Salt and pepper squid is like leather! Driver said he called and said the restaurant called me as they couldn’t get in my gate (just needed to shout or push the gate) but received no missed calls. Won’t be ordering again

The Chinese meals that we have ever eaten. I have ordered from them on at least 7 occasions, and have never been disappointed.

Have got takeaway from here previously and was good but tonight the curry was sooo bland like water bland was runny like water too.. the chips were hard and cold overall the meal wasn’t great!

Usually love the satay chicken from this restaurant, but last night the chicken was a bit chewy in places. Not up to their normal standard so a bit disappointed

I've used this place for well over a decade, its like a 5 minute walk. Used to be wonderful. Ordered whole family meals at £45+, or used to pop in for my favourite spicy Singapore Chow Mein. Never faulted the place. But recently its provided really bland under-spiced food to which I've had to add so much soy sauce and hot chilli sauce to make it palatable. No problem with quantity of meat. Not on a health trip when I eat a take-away. Just gimme back the spices, soy and salt, especially in my spicy Chow Mein !

The food had no taste, the prawns were very disappointing. Salad onions were used with warm prawns. Prawns with tomatoes had more tomatoes than prawns. I will not be ordering again. Please original chefs.

The food arrived quickly but at a cost! The Cantonese chicken was off and tasted stale. The food overall was of a very poor standard.

Extremely poor quality food with loads of sugar. All you will get in your order is a bunch of beans sprouts which tastes like your having candy for dinner, thats how sweet their foods are regardless of what you order. If you order meat or vegetable or noodles, it will not matter because they all have the same sauce and millions of beans sprouts

Not impressed. Food was very bland, the fried rice isn’t fried and I ordered ice cream and they forgot it and when I did receive it, it was the wrong flavour.

We hadn't had Chinese in a few years and thought we would try these guys out. The dumplings rice and veg spring rolls were nice. The sweet & sour dishes were too sweet and red. The beef was impossible to chew.

Ordered at 5pm for 7.40 delivery. Chased at 8pm. Delivered at 8.30.

Excellent food , I have been ordering takeaway foods from my home since 2013 . This is the first time I have used your restaurant. I have traveled the Far East for many years . And the food I received tonight . Was. Of the same authentic standard. . I will definitely be ordering in future and I would definitely recommend you try it.

Food missing and could not get hold of them as there phone was constantly ringing

The food was nice and warm when it arrived, it’s a shame that the food didn’t taste very nice. Sweet and sour chicken and shredded beef was bright red and tasted like a bag of suger had been added to the ingredients of the sauce., it was so incredibly sweet. The shredded beef was so chewy, no matter how much you chewed you weren’t able to swallow it, it was un edible. Really disappointed and I will not be ordering from here again.

Only problem was the driver did not read the note I sent. The food was great.

I've been using this Chinese takeaway for the past 7 years, I never had problems. The food was always well done, hot when delivered and in general good customer service, but lots of room for improvement. The delivery service is usually quite fast and the food arrives hot. One thing to keep in mind is that this place takes CASH only.

When i received my order the half of duck was missing. I phoned the restaurant and they apologised and the missing item was sent out and was delivered within 15mins. The rest of the order was hot and delicious. Very good food and great service :)

By far the worst Chinese I have had. 20yrs professionally following and working hospitality and this was far from the mark. Beef pad Thai consisted of beef, noodles and sweet chilli sauce from the bottle. Nothing else. Not a pad Thai at all. Roast pork dish had that shiny green look to it you get from old pork, when returning the food I saw in the kitchen and meat was not refrigerated just left on the side in the hot kitchen. Not just a portion or two but enough pork for the whole weekends service. Health and safety critical issue for food safety. Chips were stale, old and hollow. Checked just eat ratings after returning food, I don't believe they are all genuine reviews. The prices were good, a shame the food was poor, inedible and unsafe.

We used to eat here and I forgot why we stopped, our normal Chinese was closed. Food was Poor quality, pork balls was over cooked rice was so dry.waste of money. Ps they are tight on the sweet and sour sauce. Tiny pot for a full portion on pork balls.

Very tasty food and nice and hot

Half was great half was really bad. Ribs, duck pancakes and spring rolls were nice. Unfortunately the chicken chowmein was dry and tasteless with hard rubbery chicken in it, and the sauce for the sweet and sour pork was just not good at all.

When I was placing my order it said delivery time between 35 - 55mins. After the order was placed my confirmation told me that the order would be 1hr 20mins. When it got to the time the food should have been delivered I tried calling but the line was busy, so I sent a message via Just Eat. The restaurant sent a text back saying it would be 30mins later. So in total it was 2 hours from when I placed my order to when it was delivered. I was unhappy with the inaccurate delivery time and the lack of updates provided by the restaurant.

Food slightly late but the quantity and quality more than made up for that. Would recommend.

Chicken satay skewers have the nicest satay sauce I've ever had, a mix of coconut and peanut. Egg fried rice was delightful, fluffy and plenty of egg

One item was not there and when I phoned the restaurant they were very rude and argumentative.

Prawn toast was chewy and cold on arrival. Duck Chop suey was awful, was three pieces of duck and the sauce was basically tomato ketchup no flavour very bland. Pork balls was mostly batter. Overpriced , DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

Food was horrible and dry. It tasted like it was at least 3 days old and had just been shoved in the microwave. Was expensive for the quality. Would not recommend, there are better Chinese restaurants in Reading.

I get they were busy so didn't mind the delivery time too much..but by the time it had arrived the chips were inedible and the curry sauce was starting to go weird. Was oily and not great. Plus charging 6 quid for 6 King prawns is insulting

5th time we’ve ordered and like all the other times the food was fantastic.

Food is always hot and tasty and delivered before the app time given. Have ordered from them on a number of occasions and always good quality. Will order again

Special fried rice had very little meat or shrimp and the chicken sweetcorn soup was excessively sweetened. Spare ribs were good though.

Sorry to say don’t like giving bad advice but I feel it’s the only wait to learn. Food was very bland would not order again. The only nice part was the egg fried rice which you can’t really go wrong with. Not worth the money spent.

Ordered at 6:20pm for a 7:15pm slot. After approval time went to 7:45 delivery and then again 8:05pm. My food finally arrived at 8:35pm. Disgusted with the amount of time this took to get to me. Can’t fault the food quality but would not order again due to delivery time.
