Visited today and was very disappointed with the poor service we received. If you’re installing new self service kiosks that aren’t working properly, not allowing personalised orders or accepting valid vouchers then please at a bare minimum request that your staff properly advice customers of this when they come in. Rude staff who appear to not care enough about their jobs to provide polite service to their customers!!

If your staff are too lazy to serve and force people to use the kiosks which are rubbish and don't allow personalisation of subs, then perhaps it's time to find people stop buying subway. The price is extortionate for a sub these days. Not everyone wants to be forced onto a digital order experience.

Went to the barry subway to get my daughter a bacon and cheese sub the girl who served us put 2 tiny pieces of cheese on it couldn't even taste it and she was so rude and miserable she shouldn't be dealing with customers with that attitude won't ever go there again

I got the savers lunch meal, I wasnt sure which fillings were included but the staff were very helpful. I got the nacho chicken, I took two bites and nearly threw up. The taste of the chicken was vile, almost stale and was still pretty cold even after being toasted. The staff were very lovely helping me with my order and opening the door for my pram. Although the food has put me off ever having Subway again!

The young lady who served me is very Professional polite and very good at her job. Being a fellow chef I enjoy going in there my lunch when I'm not working. Didn't catch the girls name I did see it and she did tell me. Keep up the good worki enjoy chatting with you while you make my lunch Paul x

Worst Subway I have been too. Customer service is appalling and can't be bothered to change disposable gloves when serving customer. The staff member looked dirty and was serving food with no hygiene standards. Can't believe that Subway would let staff dress like that & serve customers not a great look.

Worst food I’ve ever had, phoned to complain and asked for a refund. I was told I couldn’t have a refund and was offered a new meal. I explained I’d had it delivered as I couldn’t get there. £40 down the drain and no new food or refund. Do not use this place!

The staff are wonderful hear at the barry store always polite and helpful. Portions are not great but I understand its shop policy and they follow subways guidance. I see to many ppl placing negative things when I've never had an issue. If you have enjoyed your experience please take 2 mins to show your happy as we are all quick enough to moan. Thank you all for your service at barry store I've been using you for the last year and will continue to do so as long as the service stays the same. Well done to you all

Very bad service to start with and the staff was very rude. Had to say from the bread to fillings 3 times for each of us as the staff was not paying much attention. Had to repeat the same at the till and the staff kept entering and deleting the wrong selections. Kept many people waiting just to show they were doing great deal where as they were showing how inexperienced each of them were and had to deal with the staff's mean look throughout their service.

They really need to prioritise the customer standing in front of them instead of deliveroo orders. Its very frustrating, when you're stood there waiting to order and there is someone ignoring you making orders from a list from an online order right in front of you. Not even a bit of acknowledgement or a mention of "ill be right with you". Very rarely the staff look happy either (with the exception of one or two)

Been going here for a few weeks due to working in Barry, Portion sizes are always different depending who makes the salad depends how much meat and salad you get. I've had a few salads the last few weeks, however on monday 31st October 2022, I had a chicken and bacon salad and ended up getting food poisoning. It has knocked me for six and I won't be visiting for a while.

Unfortunately due to being coeliac I was hoping I could trust subway for their food. They went to the effort of swapping gloves when handling the gluten free bread, but made the mistake of handling non gluten free bread and then putting their hands in the salad, cross contamination at its finest. Having spoken to the manager he apologised and stressed that that shouldn't happen as one should be doing the salad and one the bread, however I watched it happen so have now been forced to not be able to trust the contamination in the salad from the bread. If I wasn't coeliac and had no cross contamination issues due to it making me ill then the food is great and would be rated higher.

My partner requested a salad with olives, gherkins and 2 slices of ham as this is what I had messaged him to pick up for me. When he got home he advised me that the service was really slow and he decided not to bother with ordering anything else as he couldn't be bothered to wait in the heat for anything else. When we looked at the 'salad' it was lettuce, sweetcorn, olives and gherkins and the ham, there was no cucumber and no tomato. What do they consider a 'salad' just lettuce? this is the second time my partner has been in the shop and he said it will be his last

I ordered a chicken teriyaki salad, service was slow even though they was only one person in front of me. The person completing my order didn't remove his gloves before closing the box so the sauce was all over the outside of the box. When I was half way though eating it a bug crawled out from underneath was totally disguised will not be having food from their again!!!

If you want to be served fast don’t bother going here! Worst subway I have been to. I was waiting for 10 mins waiting to be served when nobody was waiting in the shop. Even though there were 3 members off staff not one person said hi or even make eye contact with me while I was waiting to be served. Myself and the gentleman behind me both left without being served.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Used to love this place, but how things have changed. Stood there for over 10 minutes yesterday whilst having to watch 3 staff just making delivery meals- Just Eat was it ??. No one even offered to serve me. Even when I was eventually served, girl stopped making my sandwich to do even more delivery orders. 2 of the 3 staff not even wearing a mask. Wont be going back, not ever .just appalling service, and downright rude

Just visited this branch and it took me over 30 minutes to get my order. Not because it was busy, as there were only 3 people in the queue but because the servers were waiting for online orders to come through before even dealing with the customers in store! Haven't been subway for a little while and on my return with my partner we were met by an employee of subway who told us on entering the establishment that we needed to leave as there running a two people in at once policy, and as there was already one person in there it made since but then what didn't make sense was the 3 delivery drivers coming and going all in at the same time, other than the attitude of the employee and silly over inforcement of a rule it was a good sandwich as always but won't be back to this particular subway.

Takes a long time to be served in the Barry branch with them prioritising online orders over walk ins. I was waiting approx 20 mins outside the shop, when allowed in I asked how long roughly they would be, the staff member told me he had another 5 orders to make before mine! I left! I did however try again yesterday, waited 15 mins outside but only 5 mins inside. So timed just right I think. Food is nice and so are the staff

Just returned from my weekly (during home working) visit to Subway having been informed that my regular order of loaded Nachos, to which I add a side salad, was now not available to "Walk ins". The shop was otherwise empty, the road outside was empty and I stood looking at both the Nachos on the menu board and the bags of Nachos on the shelf, yet no offer of flexibility! My daughter was able to buy her vegan sub and salad and I left empty handed. Subway today lost circa £7 and guess what I won't be going back!

Me and my partner are currently isolating so thought we were order from subway. When our order came we were missing 2 packets of crisps and 2 drinks. I then opened the sandwiches and they had left off the cheese on both, they were stone cold and mine had mayonnaise in (which I can’t eat due to health reasons) instead of the sauce I requested. Once contacted, the staff were extremely rude and wouldn’t send out the rest of the order or re-do the subs. Leaving us without food and £30 down. I was then told I would be rang back which never happened. Worst service ever and terrible food.

Last time here I oderder a large kebab. The guy who's pretty miserable and not friendly gave me half the meat that comes with a large! Will not spend my money here again! Customer lost!

When it finally arrived the rice was missing and the chips where cold and stale. They provided replacement but by the time i got them the curry dishes were cold and had to be reheated
