Two people Infront of me and I've been stood here 20 minutes, girl behind the sandwiches is in no rush at all, takes more time putting on a new pair of gloves every minute than she does on serving. and her helper out the back hasn't done anything to hurry her up either. Can fit two sandwiches at a time in the toaster. Customer in front of mes sandwich had fallen apart before she even got given it, I wouldnt have accepted it. I just popped in to grab lunch, didn't expect to be here this long. Sort it out!!! Actually embarrassingly bad, could have gone round the counter myself and made it faster and better. Jeez

Alex was brilliant, very friendly. Really great customer service. The food was fresh, amongst the best subways my partner and I had. Recommend 😊

Lizzy and her crew were absolutely awesome on my visit to subway today! Made me feel at home, lovely and bubbly environment to be in!

Lizzy was amazing. Had working and motivated and working on her own with a long queue.v impressed and she was able to deal with our food order quickly and methodically.

I now know were the rudest shop assistant works. Rude and frosty is not the words. I only asked if she,was open as it was early and she was putting food out. She never spoke that time just glared at me worse than my wife. To be fair manger was spot on but you only get one chance for a first impression. If you don't like ppl don't work with them

We just want something quick to eat. We were the only ones who hadn't been noticed for a while. There is no bell here 😉 Otherwise the sub was fine and the man at the counter was nice too. However, the ambience is not really nice. There is porridge in the corner of the Spar market.

Went to store at 7, was ment to be open until 8 but handwritten sign advising that they shut at 6! The time before, half the produce wasn't available. Rude, inexperienced staff. Do better

Good subway but pricing was confusing, first time they wanted to overcharge 2nd visit , person ahead was overcharged which confused me to what should be my cost, Nice staff and good subs/coffee .

Never had a complaint before today, arrived at the subway 25 minutes before it shut, waited for the lady to come out and she says "sorry we're closing soon" and sends us off but continues to restock the food on the meat area, why would you do that if you're shut? Also people had just walked out with their sandwich's literally just before us! If it was 5 minutes before close I'd completely understand but she clearly just couldn't be bothered to serve us. Didn't get her name cos I was so surprised at her dismissiveness, but she had short red/orange hair. Disappointing as the other staff of subway are usually always so pleasant and kind.

Really helpful staff member called Stephen and great recommendation on the sauce.

It's a Subway, nice sandwiches and salads. Staff are always friendly.

I go to subway most sundays after work save cooking went in today said what i wanted seem like i was stopping the staff going home early as the person chucking meat back and extra salad was throne back in the pots no conversation not a happy chappy at all.if go there after 7 there normaly closed on a sunday and never got any bread in if there open but food allways good

Went in to buy a subway and they were closed as they had no rolls baked, had to come back 30 mins time. Not the best a sandwich shop running out of bread 😂

The subs were as excellent as ever but what made the experience even better was the lovely lady serving us - full of beans and super chatty she made our morning!

Great stuff excellent fresh food served quickly. From traditional breakfast baps sarnies and breakfast in a box. Fresh sandwiches in a range of fillings made how you like it.also home made cakes and fillings.they also deliver to local businesses And probably a lot more .

Good, I had steak n cheese with all the salad. Yummy. Daughter's had ham n cheese 😄

Its a subway you know what you are getting but the staff are great

Food was tasty as per usual but some of the ingredients looked frozen within the edges of food bowls. one member of staff mentioned that the wrong utensil was being used and quickly changed it to a new clean one. it dosent personally bother myself but this could be a cross contamination issue as it was chicken with the wrong utensil. not sure if it came from another meat area or not. but happy service and good for a bite on the go.

The food is amazing however went I went here this morning (23/1/19-10:30am) the woman who served me came across as very rude and snappy. She was acting as though she didn’t want to be there and as though I was disrupting her time. I was suprised as whenever I’ve been there before the staff have been very pleasant and friendly. I shall not be coming back when she is working. I think she needs to take a rain check- if you hate it there that much then get a new job don’t take it out on the customers.

Love subway, but this one is sub - standard. Chicken bits mixed in with veg, which is wrong on many levels and all but the lettuce looked old. Won't be back to this one.

It is sometimes difficult to get a breakfast at a reasonable price, so thought I would try the subway breakfast. I was very pleasantly surprised and would certainly go back for another.

Not good food look dry and staff very slow

Annoys me so much that this shop always closes early in the nights. When you ask the staff why they say so they can go early on time instead of closing on time like they are actually supposed to. It's very frustrating it happens to me a lot and when I see the staff sitting there on their phones is irritates me a lot.

Took ages to be served, we weren't greeted with any kind of politeness. It was a young guy and an older woman. Both looked like they didn't wanna be there! Hardly any produce left especially with the choice of bread. Also, I asked for two cookies and the woman explained the deal for buying three so I said I'd have that thankyou! However at paying there were no cookies with our order and the woman vehemently denied she was ever asked for cookies and I was made to produce my receipt to prove to her I had already paid for them! Shocking service and mediocre food

As a cheeky favourite, myself and my husband always enjoy a footlong midday, when neither of us can be bothered making a sarnie ourselves. We always talk to the staff in there, who are continuously happy, smiling and friendly (considering some of the customers they have to serve!) It's obviously a problem when they start knowing your orders! Haha! It's clean, it's friendly, and always very polite! We obviously wouldn't go if it wasn't!

Good service, food was delicious. Staff were pleasant but the girl seemed miserable, could of least smiled or looked like she was enjoying what she was doing..

We went into the subway in the local spar near the end of the day.We waited for awhile not realising there was a bell on the counter.One of the staff was not very friendly and commented that we should of pressed the bell otherwise queues would build up.We pointed out we didnt see it and there was only person behind us.She seemed very agitated and we felt we were being told off.We were not impressed with the ladys attitude towards us.

Brilliant, fast friendly staff. Very clean. We were served by a lady called Nadia who was so helpful. Definitely recommend.

This is a relatively new addition to the the area, and is situated within the Spar store on Meneage Street (that alone would have rang warning bells, as Spar themselves are not known for their value for money offers). Plenty of free parking outside the shop (ideal) and the usual Subway menu is on offer. However expect to be left hungry at their meagre portion sizes, trust me. My favourite snack is Nachos with melted cheese, jalapeños and salsa. Mmmm ... The trouble is the staff here simply do not put much grated cheese on ... and if you ask them to add a bit more (remember the customer is always right) then you're met with a scowl, and the usual excuses about not being allowed to. They're more than happy to empty almost a whole tub of salsa into the box (thereby drowning the Nachos and making them all soggy), but want more cheese - forget it !! The same principle applies to any of their 'subs' you might also purchase - the principle of more bread, less filling seems to apply here. My advice, forget that Subway is here, and go a couple of hundred yards down the road to a local bakery aptly named the Horse & Jockey and buy yourself a pasty. Much better value, and you'll enjoy it more.
