My partner got me a 6inch breakfast sub. When I opened it to eat it.. the roll was stale completely rock hard. He took it back..was told they finish breakfast menu do he got a refund. Staff not helpful at all. Subway gone downhill since new people took over. Won't be hoping there again. Now also charge 50p if you want cheese on when it's grilled.

I don't normally leave reviews but I've not long walked out of Subway with my kids lunch and I feel so sorry for the 2 guys who served us. The first guy explained it was only his 2nd day and was asking for help with my order over & over. 4 others working, 3 were ignoring him, he was being pointed towards the back, no one helping building a backlog and a queue which before I was served, wasn't there. Not one (2 men and 1 Lady) actually gave him eye contact, he was instantly dismissed. A guy came from the back and was helpful and made our order. No problems 10 10👍🏻👍🏻 The Lady, if you're the new owner or manager, the calm, "I'll help you" demeanor towards the new guy AT THE END was nice but not helpful in that situation, you still ignored him to start with and caused the queues and frustration. I gave 3* only because of those 2 guys as I was ready to walk out over how rude those 3 people were. When the subs were taken out the oven, the guy was transporting the hot tray to the side, taking the subs off and the tall guy jumps in his way to put the cucumber in it's spot, almost causing newbie to burn him. To the 2 guys, you're better than a job that doesn't respect or listen to their staff. You shouldn't be that deflated and frustrated on your 2nd day, I hope you're both in a better work environment.

I was served by a lovely manager called Amelia and I had a very weird combination custom footlong, but she was very polite and caring despite my tricky order. She was nice and chatty to me, which I liked very much and her attitude towards me and who I was ordering for was amazing and funny. She deserves the world! Hands down best personal there.

Problem / complaint resolved with thanks May 2024 Hi All it is now 29/7/2024 & this is an update on my issue going back to may 2024. see review i left on 25th July. After i received an email from new owner Navan who was very disappointed about this issue i had raised & not had a full reselection too. we have spoke & are both happy now it has been sorted so this is a brand new review. I'm happy to say if I'm ever back on the isle of weight i will have no hesitation to eat at the Ryde branch of Subway thanks to Navan & his intervention i may have been a bit harsh about the food & service when we was there in May 2024 as the problem & frustration was with the management Ed ( no longer employed there) & Hugh who was not happy with my last review but he has to except some responsibility for my views taking so long to sort it out. Please will the new owner Navan except my apologies for all the negative remarks I did make. And I wish you all the best in the future in Subway. after 3 months still waiting for a resolution to my complaint May 2024 • couples Back in May 2024 me & my partner was on Holiday on the isle of weight we visited this store & had 2 meal deals we was over charged so since then we have been fighting to get some sort of refund or recompense i have spoke with the store then spoke & text for the las 3 months with the Manager Ed now on the 21 July Ed text me to say he has left this employment & i need to chase up the franchise owner Hugh i have now left 2 phone messages with NO CONTACT FROM Hugh what so ever this is a total joke for this Subway to take over 3 months with no resolution to my complaint.

An interesting Subway to say the least, but one I was somewhat disappointed with. Whilst I did order ahead on the app at a fairly busy time it still took 20 minutes for the sandwich to be prepared and served to me whilst I’ve had it at other Subway chains where they’d serve me first if they realised they were running behind. Staff were polite however and the toilets were clean. They did not have a few ingredients of particular sandwiches but I don’t really think it’s fair to blame that on the staff working there who were polite.

11/7/24 1715hrs A cheerful young woman behind the counter served us efficiently. She used to be at Newport branch, I believe. Had the Breakwich, really good. My wife had Tuna subway. We also had Nacho's. Fresh new menu choices & I'm now a fan of the churros, sweet, doughy things with tasty dipping sauce. I have eaten in the Newport & Ryde branches & found the new owners to be friendly & enthusiastic about the food & menu's. I enjoyed the experience & will return. M.A.R.

Please avoid this subway! Unhygienic! Asked for the saver menu, man serving did not speak any English and was confused as to what we were asking for. Ended up that the food we ordered was not on the saver menu even though we asked three times to clarify it was. Then tried to charge us more money.. the guy preparing the food would disappear behind the back for a while and come back and not change his gloves, seemed very unhygienic and therefore decided we didn’t want the food so walked out. 1 star! Definitely end up ill here, not worth it. Can’t speak English is really terrible and then acting like we owe more money. Need to sort this out.

You don't get what you order when asking for delivery. No care or attention is given to reading the receipt of what you ordered We have ordered a few times and normally the drinks and crisps are not what we ordered (no big deal) but this time we got 2 footlong subs exactly the same .which can't eat anything spicy Won't be ordering again .

i am a vegetarian, i told staff that they should change the gloves for me because i am, and because they didn’t change them after using meat from the last person. and i won’t be eating subway again after this, i asked for crinkle wedges with the spices and mayo, and i found foreign object on one of the wedges, and it turned out to be a bit of what seemed to be steak. surely when the staff was putting it in the box they would’ve seen it? i am appalled.

Really rubbish service they gave us the wrong sauce on the 13th of October so called up when I got home and realised, a male picked up and as soon as I told him my complaint he hung up i then couldn’t get hold of them again after ringing four times, I called today 14th October and spoke to a very rude unapologetic lady who told me she would replace the sandwich but told me it’s my fault for not realising when they where making it, so my girlfriend went in to get the new sandwich to where the staff where very rude talking in there own native language about her and had a bad attitude.

Went in today with my gluten free son. He had a gluten free sub which he really enjoyed. I had some of the wedges and asked if they were gf so my son could have a few. The two staff there just both said we don’t know and pointed me to a very blurry confusing print off of the menu to which I couldn’t find the wedges on. I think staff should be more aware of what’s in the food. Plus when you have a queue of people behind you it’s very stressful reading the allergy sheet, would have been nice to have them assisting me or have a sheet that I could have taken to table.

Staff were friendly enough and the place was one of the tidiest and cleanest Subways I've been to, so well done there! Even the toilets were spotless. I opted for some of the small plates, the meatballs, nachos, nacho chicken bites which were tasty. The meatballs were the tastiest! Nachos with jalapeños a close second. Unfortunately I have to rate this quite low, due to numerous times of ordering for collection/delivery, items either being wrong or left out. Once or twice is somewhat understandable, we all have bad days or busy days where we're swamped with customers and have a few slip-ups, but without fail, the last six times my partner has ordered from here, she's had missing items or wrong orders. I myself stopped going here a long time ago for the same reason. The staff inside are nice enough though, it's just unfortunate about such continual bad orders. And one final, damning note: during the COVID pandemic venues are supposed to be cleaning to a high standard for staff and customer safety, one time I went in and watched as people left their table in a disgusting state, and the staff simply ignored it and left the next customers to sit there with all the mess and of course, germs.

Ordered a sandwich. Within 24 hours was projectile vomiting, had diarrhoea, and was severely unwell for several days. Two facts! I am making no distinction over if those facts are correlated or not. Owner has been polite in their correspondence but just says something else made me sick. I am aware of four other people who became sick after eating food from there. Again, a fact, with no distinction that it was caused by the food. That's their right to say they have checks that they make, and they have emailed me to state they have received a clean score from Environmental Health. I hope that is right and have no reason to disbelieve that. Maybe the owner is right and my salmonella was caused by toast I had eaten. But it's also my right to give an honest account of my experience. And my experience is that I ordered a fairly meh sandwich, and 24 hours later was struck with a sickness so awful it felt like my insides were being put through an old fashioned laundry mangle.

Popped in for a birthday treat lunch and it was certainly a treat. Jason , great host . Attentive and welcoming. Lovely chef came out to chat (sadly didnt catch their name ) .Food beautiful, cooked just right , Hot and nicely presented not just lobbed on the plate like in some places. Great value for money. Will deffo be back.

Ordered a BEC with salt pepper ketchup… get home to realize I’ve got an egg and cheese with no meat. Disappointed.
