Burger looked & tasted like it had been grilled the day before & then warmed up in microwave, sent it back & had chicken burger which was the same. I can not believe this place hasn't had more complaints. Who ever is in the kitchen has no idea at all.

Decidí comer bocadillos mientras esperaba a mis amigos. ¡Este lugar sirvió platos / menú "glorificados" para que encuentre fácilmente una mejor calidad en KFC / MCDonalds / Burger King y otras comidas rápidas!

Nunca he ido a un cine mejor que este lugar, los asientos es cómoda, y todo el sistema de calidad ouzes souns es excepcional, realmente un gran lugar para disfrutar de las últimas películas. . .

I thought I would see a film to escape the howling gales and torrential rain bombarding Bristol on the 12.2.2014..the very day I had a day to kill..I walked round the Cabot Circus..and ended up at Studio One. I didn't eat there but the waitress was very friendly and when I asked if there was somewhere I could just relax and have a glass of wine while I waited for the movie I wanted to see to start, she said..you're welcome to wait here, I ordered a large glass of wine.. it was not very dear..and the girl was chatty and welcoming. She was cleaning brass and glass and made me feel happy to sit in Studio One.

When arriving for a pre cinema meal, me and my partner were sat down by a very nervous young waiter, and were offered some drinks and menu's. Once ordered the drinks took considerable time to arrive, probably because the lad serving us was the only member of staff serving at the bar and tables. Once we eventually got our drinks, we were ready to order. He took out order and to be fair the meal came out fairly quickly. My partner was impressed with the chicken, however my seafood sharer was not enough for me, let alone two people to share! We then waited patiently for 45 minutes, before going up to the bar to discover the still singular member of staff had changed; and our table was not properly handed over. The new waiter had no idea we were waiting. He was very apologetic, however it was too little, too late, not impressed at all.

In Studio One, staff were helpful, we then went to the Directors Lounge and the staff were completely different - foul mouthed comes to mind. The Manager did tell them this was not good customer service and they laughed behind her back. They were also saying comments about customers that were also seated in the lounge!!!

Having arranged to meet my daughter and her friend at The Showcase's ,Studio One Restaurant and Bar, Bristol. My wife and I ordered the Rib-Eye Steak, and so did my daughter and her friend. After about 10 minutes or so (after ordering) the young lady brought the 4 Rib-eye Steaks. Chips on two of them, and wedges on the other two. Upon starting to eat the said Steak, I found that mine was lukewarm and I later found out that the two others Steak were also lukewarm. But as they were still eatable, we did in fact eat them. The young lady came at the end of the meal, and ask if all was OK ? My wife told her that three of the Steaks were only just lukewarm, but she said nothing. So we paid and left, as the girls had to be somewhere else, and we were going to see one of the film's. Now I must admit that we should have returned the steaks immediately, but now wanting to cause a scene, we let the matter go. But upon arriving home, we decided to complain, and the answer we got from the management at Studio One, Bristol ... "We must do better next time" No Sorry, just we must do better next time. I can assure you, there will be no NEXT TIME for us !!!

Having booked the cinema for a rare treat we decided to have a meal at the restaurant as it looked very nice. having waited 20 mins for our order of drinks and meal a further 20 min wait for our drinks to come out once out starter came out they also bought out one main course with no cutlery having asked for this various times after waiting 30 mins the food was cold and still only had got one main meal. I thought the service was very poor, this caused us to be late for the cinema - 2hours this took us

We had the curry of the day & the Angus Beef Lasagne, the service was efficient, the food was of excellant quality, very fine dining and the member of staff was polite & attentive. Exceptional value for money.

We had been shopping in the centre and thought we would give this place a go. On first appearances, this place looked nice and clean, and quite a few people having a drink in there. We decided to have a meal (2 for 1 deal) and ordered 2 fairly basic meals. We were informed that they were out of steak and curry and that they could not take card payments as they were having an issue with their machine. We should have taken that as a warning sign. After waiting 55 minuted for our meals, they finally bought them over. The waitress was very apologetic about the delay. I ordered the butterfly chicken which was at best on the warm side. I am not someone to cause a fuss, but this was just awful. The waitress offered to have them make something else, but not wanting to wait another hour, we declined. They didn't charge for the meal that was eaten and only for the drinks. Maybe it was an off night, but only 2 tables were having food, and could the 2 for 1 offer be them screaming for custom? We won't be eating there again.

This was our first visit to Cinema De Lux and we were well impressed with both the cinema and this bar/restaurant. We had a selection of appetisers and a couple of drinks before going in to see our film. It was a very civilised way to start the evening and so much better than grabbing a box of nachos at the concession stand in our local Cineworld. We'll definitely be going again and next time we'll allow enough time to try one of the mains.

I went to that restaurant, located in the shopping mall next to many others. It is part of the cinema, apparently. It looks quite fancy, brand new, modern style, etc... But I was extremely disappointed by the main meal, a 4cheeses pizza, which looked relatively small, and cheap. It was really like a pizza in the chippy. But price was around 10GBP, like other restaurant with decent pizzas. The entrance, some jalapenos crumbled with sauce were quite good- Service was ok, young staff. So I would say the look of that restaurant is deceiving because it looks fancy, but it's actually not decent food (at least that pizza).
