Caffe Nero in Bristol, City of

When you go to cafe Nero you know what to expect, mediocre coffee and sad pastries. What I come for is the work friendly atmosphere and longer opening hours. To be told, we are closing half an hour earlier for no reason but because the barista wants to go home earlier is a reason I'll start going to a different chain.

Really good store. Very clean and perfectly made barista drinks. Micheal here is a great vibe who was in a good and joyful mood, making customers day better.

I placed an order through Uber Eats, they delivered it to a location 20 minutes from my house and they didn't make an effort to help me resolve the issue, the delivery guy was super impatient. I sent him the exact street name in the message, look where he left my order! How disrespectful!

Discusting treatment of my grandaughters. They were on their first trip into town. They walked into this place to ask nicely if they could use the facilities and one of the staff rudley said that they would have to buy a cake and went on to complain to them abouteven asking . My three grandaughters are 14 years of age. And are no threat to anyone. So thank you for your kindness.would you have been so rude if my son in law asked to use the toilet. I definitely think not. Stay away everyone they just want every penny out of you to spend a penny.

Very nice ambiance. Loved their service. Really friendly staffs. This café is definitely a good place for getting some work done with optimum noise in background. Loved the croissant with ham and cheese. 💯 The bathroom can get a bit less accessible when crowded as there's only one.

Quería tomar mi propio café soluble y necesitaba únicamente una buena taza de leche. No tuvieron ningún problema en ofrecérmela y os puedo asegurar que es la mejor leche que he tomado hasta ahora: cremosa y en el punto perfecto. El local se ubica en pleno corazón de la ciudad. El servicio es rápido y amable. La decoración adecuada y el único aspecto a mejorar es el baño (poco accesible y algo desaliñado).

Extremely nice people, well kept place, good music and great aircon. But mostly great staff

I didn't enjoy my visit to cafe Nero purely because the croissant I had wasn't fresh, it had that day old taste to it. I also went in with my baby during the morning when it was absolutely dead in there and the man who served me could see I had a baby and couldn't manage the tray and pushchair at the same time, and despite there being no queue, he didn't even offer to help carry my tray to my table whilst I pushed baby. Many other coffee shops do this even when they are very busy!

Have visited regularly, the coffee is nice and some member of staff are lovely. Regrettably on my last couple of visits there have been flies everywhere. Will seek to get coffee elsewhere.

The place was disgusting, full of flies we moved seats only to find the whole place was covered in flies.when I approached the server she said that pest control had been in and sprayed the walls. Definitely not the best experience and won't be going there again.

Came in for a quick toastie and drink. Ordered iced flat white and had 3/4 of glass full of milk with barely any coffee - not all fit into it. When I sat down it smelled like sewage and whilst eating there where lots of small flies - not one but counted at least 5!!!! Leaving this place after 2 sips and 2 bites! Whilst leaving counted at least 12 small flies on the wall!!!

Isn't worth one star. The mocha had 4 flies in it. By the time i realised i was chewing on one, couldnt go back as it was too late. Felt sick, not good check before you leave the place.

Walked in as all other places weren’t open until 11/12! We popped in and was impressed by the customer service from the barista (make grey hat, curly hair) and the lady with the red hair and glasses! Quickly made our drinks, and served our food. We clearly arrived just before the rush, and the queue behind us disappeared quickly! Very impressed they didn’t seem phased at all. Definitely definitely be back! Thank you guys for showing that customer service does still exist. ❤️👌🏼 bonus for these workers!

Nice ambiance and staff. Good location for commuters. Coffee is like any other caffe Nero - average and in my opinion on the same level as Starbucks and Costa. Cakes are super expensive for what they are.

Pretty standard Caffè Nero; usual offerings but a good location near St. Nicholas Market. The only strange thing was the only toilet is unisex & disability-equipped with baby changing; they could really do with one or two more.

Always loved café Nero and this one did not disappoint

The staff were friendly The cheese and ham toasty was tasty Disappointed they didn't have gluten free whom a member of family is wheat intolerant.

Went to Cafe Nero today. How chains like this, Starbucks, Costa are in business I will never know. Ordered a cappuccino which isn't meant to boil, as it ruins the coffee. You have to be able to drink this instantly. Was absolutely boiling hot, which is just wrong. Had to wait probably 4-7 minutes until it was drinkable. Don't waste your ££££. Rather have instant coffee from a supermarket, that at least I can set the temperature right. £2.80 for a wrongly made vile coffee? No thanks. Avoid like the plague.

Went to get a coffee at 14.30 yesterday. Restaurant busy no one at the till. The only employee was behind hiding away behind wooden wall. When we asked if we could order she replied she is on a break to come back in 10 minutes and that she had put a sign on front door which was not the case! What an attitude if she was on a break the either out a sign or employ 2 persons there were at least 20-25 people seating.

Food and drink fine but queue was not socially distanced and there was no table service or cleaning while I was there at end of October 2020.

Staff did not clean any tables after customers left...not giving table service.. doesn't seem as though they are adhering to government covid rules..NOT impressed certainly will not return

Worst oat latte I've ever had. Coffee and milk were both super burnt. Was served at burn your face off temperature and was just all around not good. I've had my issues with Nero's but this one literally put me off for good

Had a couple of visits here during Bristol bike show. Good coffee, nice range of naughty-but-nice cakes. Helpful staff and I got extra stamps on my loyalty card for bringing my own reusable cup.

Usual great caffe nero food and service, but this location has a quieter environment than other caffe nero shops in the centre, definitely be returning.

Just what you'd expect from a Caffe Nero. Good quality coffee, but high prices. Using O2 priority was and usually is my main reason for coming however. Had terrible experiences in other Nero's in the city but this has by far the best customer service. A downside is the lack of seating. Definitely returning (next week with another code 😉)

Did not open when it was supposed to. There was actually nobody there five minutes after the opening time...

Pretty grim, lacking in atmosphere and air conditioning on, so very cold.....it was probably warmer outside and we are in December!! Coffee bit harsh and wife's tea only half a cup! We will not be returning to this branch and I have to say it's tarnished the whole chain for me. One thing there are plenty of is coffee shops, so they need to up their game dramatically to make me choose them over the competition in the future.

El café Caff Nero es, con mucho, el mejor de las grandes cadenas de café IMHO. Y esta rama estaba abierta a las 8. 30 el domingo por la mañana cuando buscaba el desayuno. Tuve la papilla, que tenía menos de 2 años y, lo que es más importante, no tenía azúcar agregada, a diferencia de otros lugares que no te dan la opción y en algunos casos usa leche en polvo y agua. Si desea papilla lechosa y la posibilidad de agregar su propio azúcar y / u otras coberturas si las desea, entonces se recomienda.

Solid choice of coffee and nice cake

As you'd expect from Caffe Nero, though in this instance I found the service to be even better than usual. Decided to try out a new vegan toastie, which was far better than most I've had at more niche cafés, and the barista was quick to suggest other vegan options I'd missed and on the whole just really enthusiastic which made for an even more pleasant lunch break.

Pleasant spot to relax with coffee and cake. Clean and tidy with friendly staff.

Firstly got to mention the air con as visited on the summer heat wave of 2018! It was bliss :) otherwise what you'd expect from a caffe Nero.

It is just another coffee shop. I much prefer going to the many other local cafes and coffee shops that Bristol has to offer.

I was in for a coffee on 19 of March at 11.30 am. I was just for an espresso macchiato. The bartender was lovely and definitely she made my day better. Unfortunately I don’t know her name

There is nothing special about this place. It is after all a chain coffee shop with no atmosphere or any particularly individual characteristics. They serve the full range of teas, coffees and soft drinks that you would expect to find. They also serve a variety of cakes and pre made sandwiches.
