Place located at the Open Market in Brighton. Good, typical English food, friendly staff and fast service. Very British, I recommend!

This might just have to be the best spot in Brighton for brekkie. The value for money is insane and all the food is done perfect. All breakfasts come with bread n butter as well as a tea/coffee. I struggle finding somewhere that does both a proper vegan and meat fry up but this place has it bang on, and to make it that mile better the staff were absolutely lovely. All I wish is that I found this place before I moved up north! I will be back next time I’m visiting though for sure 😁

Good traditional British cafe. Sausage better than expected. Obviously not gourmet, but definitely not the very cheapest. Tomatoes with breakfasts were good quality and again, definitely not the cheapest. Overall the best traditional, unpretentious fry up I've had for a while. Good price too.

This market is well worth a visit. It has an interesting selection of shops in it and you might even pick up a bargain too. Its local clientele are a cross section of the area and the food of Streets Café reflects that. We love it. You can get a huge breakfast there, to see you through the rest of the day and for a good price too. Go to the Grand if you have to but Streets breakfast is the best alternative for us.

One of the very few remaining greasy spoons left who don't charge ridiculous prices for food and tea. £1.30 for a cup of tea is what everyone should be charging. This is a greasy spoon as they used to be, not poshed up like most are in Brighton.

Nice greasy spoon caf in brighton open market. The decor could be a bit more inviting and warm. Food is good, very cheap and large portion. Had a cheese and tomato pannini and chips. The pannini was nice with lots of cheese, although it wasnt the best cheese. Friendly service and very fast cooking.

Was staying at nearby Jury’s Inn where they were only offering breakfasts in a bag so opted to eat out instead and found this little gem on the Open Market in Brighton. I would recommend if you want an occasional cooked breakfast. The food is freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. Staff are friendly.

This establishment is simply your no thrills cafe. Food is good and tasty and served by friendly staff. Hygiene levels are very important and kept to a reasonable level by staff who seem to go that extra mile for the customer. So next time your in the area of London Road in Brighton pop in to the open market for welcome shopping experience.

Awful experience, I saw flies flying around the meat, the pies are cheap meat, tastes like a microwaved meal plus sachets of coffee, all cheap food, rude staff! Manager is non existent as I went to complain but she wasn’t in, rude staff, pricing is inconsistent and nothing makes sense on the menu, it needs a new manager or more preferably for the cafe to go bankrupt. Horrible experience.

Not too bad, typical greasy spoon, it looked pretty clean and tidy, there were some tables with the last occupants plates and cups etc but it wasn't that bad, I had a white coffee and a bacon sandwich, well the bacon was ok, you could tell it was fairly cheap bacon but it was perfectly edible but sadly the coffee was terrible, there wasn't much coffee in it for a start and the two sugars I asked for must of been seriously heaped as even for me it was too sweet, the staff were friendly and pleasant enough, I might give them another try at some point.

They just let any crack head In basically. What a shame as wont be bringing myself or my kids back.

Located in the covered market this is an old fashioned cafe offering infinite breakfast permutations plus many other dishes. It is very inexpensive, staff are friendly and I was served quickly. Quite a retro experience. Every other business in Brighton seems to be some sort of cafe, bar or restaurant with many catering for a young hip crowd. It is quite reassuring that places like this are still around. Not everyone wants falafel, some people just want egg and chips.

Decided on a late breakfast in Brighton after 7 early mornings at work. Hadn't wandered round this part of the city since it was modernised a few years back. The café wasn't too busy at approx. midday, so after perusing the menu, decided on their 'Breakfast number 4'. Service very friendly, lovely cup of tea while waiting for breakfast, and plenty of space at table to read my paper. Breakfast arrived within 5 minutes. Piping hot, decent sized portions and area clean and tidy, with lots of condiments and napkins. I'm not someone who wants posh or daft menus, so finding this café is a bonus as it just fits the bill on all fronts. Brilliant so far as I'm concerned!
