Excellent small community run cafe located next to the post office in the old Magistrates Court- which is always filled with locals on Thursdays and Saturdays. With the cheapest but nicest real coffees and cake in Suffolk it’s a real treat and a hidden gem. Highly recommended as a pit stop in Stradbroke Village with very clean toilets.

Hidden within the Library building is a wonderful cafe which gets very busy with locals / families and passing tourists. Excellent cheap coffee and cakes and great service.

This is a little cafe in the equally little library. I popped in briefly just to grab a cuppa whilst I was in the library; the prices and quality were average, the staff were nice, and there was only one other customer in there so it was nice and quiet.

We went there to order lunch, and our mistake, no lunch on weekends. The staff was helpful, the food was delicious and creative. The theme is cats, no surprise. It's a very small place, maybe 10 tables, and while the staff is nice, the postings around the cafe are clear that they want you to leave when you're done eating. There's a "no camping" theme aimed at turning over tables. Also on the back of the drinks menu is a list of funny/snarky rules about how guests should behave in their cafe. I get the "don't drink and drive" comment. Some I find a little much though. YMMV. They will charge % if you use a credit card, and will give you a discount if you wear either cat eye glasses or a cowboy hat (or both) while you're eating. If we go again instead of going for savory substance we'll try sweet treats. There's cumin in the salsa.

Why anyone would choose to call a cafe Tickety Boo is beyond me but the food is good and you don't eat the name! Very strange and off-putting style where they take your money before you eat - which meant we didn't order any cake after our meal as we couldn't be bothered to queue and pay all over again. None of the diners I've seen in here look like the type that would run off without paying! Despite this the food really was excellent and I will be back for more.

Cold day, so I ordered a liver casserole. The liver was overcooked and tasteless. The carrots were rock hard. We got £1 each off the bill. Bit of a cheek. I shan't be visiting again.

Popped in for a cheeky breakfast, and wasn't disappointed. Good, fresh food and reasonably priced - £9 for what's pictured, which is very reasonable in modern times! I heard this morning that porridge at Sandringham is £8.50, and I'll bet it isn't as good as this!

Went there Christmas Eve with friends, 10 of us, including one in a wheelchair. Landlady watched us come thru the door, struggling with wheelchair in the process, and once we got in there bluntly told us there were no tables vacant and we couldn’t stand anywhere either. We asked how about out the back and were rudely told “no, it’s laid up for tomorrow”. So we had to turn round and leave without getting g served. Her attitude was appalling and extremely rude - there certainly would have been a more polite way of turning us away. Will never go there again till it’s sold to new owners. Luckily we have another extremely friendly and welcoming pub in the village so Christmas Eve was still great for us.
