this has become one of my favourite regulars, the food is gorgeous tastes great, the prices are very fair and reasonable and delivery is always on time or early, food is always hot and they always kindly give a couple of free sundries poppadoms, mint yoghurt sauce, onion salad. the packaging is sturdy and are always in plastic tubs, wrapped well etc, they also give a generous amount of paneer in my curry dish i order, such an outstanding takeaway restaurant. compliments to the chef and staff

I’ve eaten in at stone cross curry bar and grill many times and the food quality and service has always been amazing. This evening I’ve decided to have a take away at home and to say I was extremely disappointed is an understatement. Chips were cold and hard, the curry lukewarm and the rice was also cold. For such a simple order I would expect better service. Unfortunately I won’t be ordering again.

The fact it was early wasn't an issue. However the whole lot was in the bin 5 minutes after plating it up. Still not sure as to what meat was in the lamb starter. The curry was bland ( that said the bit of chicken in the curry I had seemed ok), and the sheek, well I've never had one look or taste the way it did. A positive, well the rice was ok. First time I had used them, and it will be the last. Enjoy.

Food was lovely, never ordered from here before. Couldn't fault it except the only thing is I'd agree with a lot of reviews regarding cold soggy chips. I think the issue is the heat creates condensation in the bag which creates wet conditions meaning the chips cool down quicker and get soggy. I think if they changed from paper bags for the chips, to something more suitable this would correct the issue. However, with curry on top of them, they tasted nice, but I'm easy to please anyway :)

Everything was excellent as always, 100% recommend.

1/3 of the Naan was undercooked but otherwise everything was great.

Thought we would give this place a go for a change - as opposed to the grill houses we usually eat from. So disappointed- bhuna - to runny / watery - to much tomato’s ? - and not enough meat. Cheese naan did not have cheese in the dough but just melted on top and folded? Tikka masala was so sickly sweet and the chips stale and soggy! - could do much much better

Under cooked rice, over cooked chips rock hard . Missing salad, missing onion salad, missing mint sauce. Missing popadoms.

Uncooked pieces of rice and both curry’s had no taste really bland and cheese naan hardly had any cheese in really disappointed most went in the bin

Another excellent meal delivered on time and delicious. Must say we haven’t had bad meal yet. I Highly recommend it to anyone who wants good quality food delivered on time and for a very reasonable price. 👍🙂

Every curry tasted different, which is good. I wasn't very impressed with the bhuna as it tasted half done but the other curries were delicious only issue was there were only 3 pieces of meat in each one. lovely roti and naan.

very dry,lamb was tough and.food was.cold

had to call restaurant because app stated it had been delivered, when it did finally arrive we saw on our CCTV the delivery women walking up and down the street looking for our house, we had to shout her, even though our door number is large and lit up by the street lamp outside our house. never had a problem like this before, food wasn't hot but that wasn't the restaurant fault.

The food arrived on time, hot and fresh. Biryani and balti were really nice, full of flavour. I have ordered from stone cross masala before, the food has always been good but this order was better. Would definitely recommend.

The food is excellent and you get value for your money, which is exactly what we need in this current financial climate where we really have to watch what we spend. We haven’t had a bad curry yet and the type of curry you order is always consistent in its flavour, ingredients and quality.

I mostly use the takeaway service. I have tried every lamb curry on the menu at least twice, some many more times. I have enjoyed them all. The biggest thing is the consistency. Each time the food tastes the same as the last. An admirable achievement. The food is amazing. I can not recommend this establishment highly enough. Worth every penny and those pennies are not as many as other places. Quality food at good prices.

Possibly the worst butter chicken I’ve ever had. It was so sweet and the chicken looked like the pre packed ones you get from Asda. Secondly I ordered veg samosa and they were the meat ones which arrived. And the rice was like mush. Wouldn’t waste your money here better off getting a curry from lidl as it would have been just as good.

We ordered chicken tikka masala with pilau rice which was fine, but my daughter ordered a tikka meat wrap priced at £6, the wrap was the same you get in supermarkets - 6 or 8 for a pound, the wrap contained 12 small pieces of chicken, this was accompanied by a portion of chips, absolute rip off even when ordered without chips still charging £3. DO NOT order wraps from this place you WILL be disappointed.

Food was ok but nothing special. Chips were dry and hard as if they had been cooked earlier and reheated. Tandoori chicken was a little dry too.
