Stopped in for late breakfast, such a lovely spot real hipster vibe but full of people of all ages families with children, couples on dates, singles- really nice causal and cozy vibe, must be really nice in the evening as well. The service was great and the food was really good - lots of variety on the menu

When visiting our daughter this is a regular haunt for our Sunday breakfast. The food is very reasonable and excellent. The staff are so friendly and attentive. Our favourite 😊😊😊

Whenever we’ve visited and managed to get a table/seat we’ve been impressed with the food/drinks/ambience but it’s a little frustrating that the closing times seem to be really hit & miss. It’s the second time that we’ve visited the area and headed to the bar for a cocktail on a Saturday night to find it closed at 9pm despite the opening times showing that it should be open. We even checked on Facebook that they’d be open and they were advertising that they were open this Saturday and staff were inside. I appreciate that businesses won’t always stay open if they’re quiet but this seems to be a regular occurrence and last time that we went there was a few of us walking away disappointed when we saw the closed sign on the door. If we could get in during the advertised opening hours we’d give it 5 stars!

Many coffee shops to choose from in Hinckley but the team at Stockwell Coffee House and Bar have created a real gem that everyone should experience. We travel from Northampton to our favourite hairdresser around the corner (75 the barbershop 💈) and Stockwells is now our favourite coffee shop before or after a snip! Great coffee, amazing menu and something for everyone. If you want a Prosecco breakfast then fine, they have this covered, I went for the pancakes and bacon! Wow its like being in New York 🗽🗽🇺🇸🇺🇸 perfectly fluffy pancakes, loads of bacon and copious amounts of maple syrup 😍😍😍 If you’re looking for even healthier, then try the granola and yogurt, fresh fruit and so tasty! Well worth a visit, don’t be surprised if it’s a little busy when you visit, this place has something for everyone! Enjoy, we sure do! 👏👏🥂🥂🥂🥂🥞🥞🥞

4 family members came here for the 1st time. The cafe is only a small establishment but still a nice cafe. We all had hot drinks and one of us ate a breakfast roll.All items were very nice and tasty. Will be returning here for sure

Popped in for a cuppa and a bite to eat. The ham and cheese toastie was lovely, served with rocket and a generous serving of crisps. Relaxed atmosphere and prompt service, as usual.

Thank you so much to Stockwells for allowing us to use their venue for our baby shower yesterday! It was the most perfect venue, amazing size for our party of 35, with such beautiful decor! And the ladies on the bar were so friendly! And thank you to Stewert for being so friendly and always quick to respond to any queries we had!! 100% recommend to anyone who needs a venue for a small gathering! 😊 x

Staff are friendly, relaxed and make good drinks. Some of the bench tables feel a little redundant and likely unused. Great music.

Stockwell serves the best coffee in town for sure. The staff is always so lovely . Bakes are scrumptious. On the weekends there is a really good atmosphere where you can enjoy yourself.

I just live Stockwells. Had two parties there in 2023 and couldn’t have ask for more. The venue is amazing as are the staff and atmosphere. Nothing is too much trouble for Stuart and the team. A fantastic experience both times. Thank you Stockwells

Love stockwells been numerous times and yes on odd occasions not been able to get a table due to it being full. Which tells me they must be doing something right.

There's a nice atmosphere to the place, I imagine it's great for evenings and get togethers. However, the trip was rather disappointing for me as we specifically went there based on reviews in the Happy Cow app. Whilst it's understandable that an independent coffee shop will run out of things such as vegan cake I was really put off by the dismissive shrug I got when I asked about allergens in the cakes they had available. Considering they weren't busy at all no effort was made to find out about allergens. Maybe there's more choice and more knowledge when the delivery arrives.

This is one of my favourite places to come to for a cuppa and something to eat. There is a lovely atmosphere whenever we visit. Service is always with a smile and the toasties are very tasty.

Lovely breakfast this morning of bacon,omelette in a cob and freshly brewed tea ,love your teapots and cheerful staff. A good experience all round.

The coffee is good and we tried cakes that we didn't know, the staff was super friendly and kind to all customers. A quiet environment to chat and have something warm.

Great place to eat , I'm vegetarian and gluten free and accommodates both so very pleased just ask when you arrive for the menu.

My favourite cafe! The drinks are incredible (turmeric latte with coconut milk is heavenly!), and the cakes are also amazing. Would love some more vegan food options, then again I'd probably never leave if they did! I choose Stockwell's over a chain anyday

Great food, coffee and cake. Visited for lunch with a colleague. Really nice environment for our business meeting. Food was great. The smashed avo on toast with bacon was delicious. Took away two cakes which were delicious too. Highly recommend if in the area.

Really good iced coffee & cakes, friendly staff and customers too! Super impressed by the accessible & impeccably clean baby change facility.. especially as the establishment isn't particularly large overall. Would pick this place over a large chain coffee house any day.

First visit here and very pleasant too. Was tempted to try the cheese, jalapeño and chorizo toastie as was recommended it and which was very tasty. Nice surroundings too to eat in and clean which is always a plus along with pleasant smiling staff 😀. Definitely visit again.

Great coffee, staff really nice. Decent prices. Like that there is no extra charge for plant milk as daughter is lactose intolerant. Would like a greater choice of veggie food but what they have is very nice.

Fantastic breakfast! The bacon, cheese, and omelette breakfast sandwich was to die for - and as mine needed to be gluten free they provided gluten free bread. A great local gem!

Friendly staff. Good selection of drinks. Didn't eat so can't comment on that but what I saw looked good. Couple of beers on tap and also other alcoholic beverages served. Pop in forfood/drink if nearby. Doubt you'll be disappointed.

Popped in for a drink and a snack at lunchtime, it was great. Proper tea in tea pots, great paninis and the turkey and cranberry roll was to die for. The staff were great, the service was fast and the atmosphere was lovely. This place is a real gem.

Stockwells is a really cool place to visit, it’s quite small but this gives it the advantage of being cosy. The coffee is really good and there is a wide variety of drinks on the menu. We have not eaten there yet but all of the cakes look amazing and I’m tempted to get one every time. They also do events, I went to see some amazing live music there a few years back, the venue is spot on for music, their cocktails and wine are also very good. Highly recommended.

Despite some new pretenders to the crown this is still the best coffee shop in Hinckley. The coffee is very good, the decor, music, atmosphere are spot on, the food is generally good. At busy times I just wish the place was bigger!

Pleased to see the pancakes are back on the menu! Just a shame food and drink delivery not coordinated. Last two times finished food before coffee arrived. Had to go and ask for it.

Second time visiting and today I discovered their amazing smoothie bowls! Lovely oat milk hot chocolate as well. Staff were very friendly and the café is always busy. Small but varied menu, with daily specials, catering for different dietary requirements and tasty toasties! Great pit stop for light bites and lovely cakes 😋

Really nice place to have a cuppa, cake or lunch. First time we have been as new to the area so we were exploring cafes - we were not disappointed. Nice range of cakes and they do healthy option smoothies which is a good idea and unique. The music was a little loud for a Saturday but people there were chatting away with friends and family as we were so it didn't impede too much. Will go back thats for sure.

I didn't eat but stopped for a coffee and I managed to catch the end of the cricket. Very eclectic customer base so it seems the place is suited to everyone and I can't disagree 😎👌

We visited for breakfast. Really nice food. It's expensive, although everything seems to be nowadays. Not somewhere we would be able to visit regularly as a family, but occasionally we will pop in. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice little touches such as the free buck's fizz, plus we also got to sample the charcoal latte which was nice.

Coffee is the best in town and Bacon/Sausage Pretzel buns are amazing. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Great for a catch up with friends & family and generally a nice place to enjoy some free time.

Had a baby shower at Stockwells and it was perfect! From organising with Stewart to the lovely staff who had a long Sunday at work, they made everything easy, were so friendly and helpful! It’s a great sized venue with a lovely atmosphere and great with options of hot, cold and alcoholic drinks to accompany any food you do. Food was supplied by us but again they were super helpful recommending caterers! Thanks for a great afternoon and I’d definitely use you again! X

Loved the coffee, loved the food

Lovely coffee shop, with a great selection of drinks and quality food but it can be VERY NOISY when there's a crowd in! So much so that all other conversations are inhibited. I'd be looking to do some acoustic work or a baffled ceiling if I owned it. Will definitely keep returning though, as the service was first class.

First time visiting this cafe. On first arrival, staff were friendly. However there is clear preferential treatment to regular customers. Everyone was served their drinks in cups and saucers to their table. However our coffees were in takeaway cups and we were told to collect our drinks, even after table service was promised. Of course we don’t mind collecting our drinks, but not when all the tables around us are being served after us. Will not be visiting again; it is a shame as the location and decor is fantastic.

I absolutely LOVE Stockwells Coffee House and Bar!! it has such a great atmosphere whether this be for a light lunch for a coffee in the day or for a few cocktails in the evening. When i visited their was a live band playing and he was totally incredible! I can really recommend the Paninis and they have a gorgeous array of breakfast items (Smoothie bowls are a total must) which are to DIE for!! a family run business with a real homely feeling touch. Great for relaxing and an all around hidden gem in Hinckley. Cannot recommend this place enough and a true 5* rating in my eyes!

This is my absolute favourite place to go in Hinckley. The coffee and brunch here is delicious and we also love to have evening drinks here. The staff are such gems and go above and beyond to make us more comfortable every time we visit. Go to Stockwells!

There are so many places you can get a coffee in Hinckley, but if you want to escape the usual suspects and try something with a more independent touch, Stockwells is the place to go. Genuinely excellent coffee, a great range of food and other drinks, a really friendly atmosphere and some brilliant event nights to boot. Highly recommended!

My girlfriend and I go here pretty much every other week. The coffee, drink and food is great, friendly staff and a great atmosphere to go with it. I have also heard some great live music here in the past. Highly recommended!
