Lovely little tea room - visited with my mum who had the ‘daily special’ of vegan haggis, mozarella and tomato wrap and I had a glamorgan cheese & leek sausage butty. Both meals along with our warm drinks served in cozy tea cups were really good quality. The staff are also really nice and friendly. Dogs welcome too!

This is a great cafe for lunch or coffee and cake. Very friendly staff, good toys to keep small kids happy and a generally really nice feel to the place. Things like the book exchange give it a really personal feel. Plus the food was tasty! Will certainly be going back.

Food was delicious and homemade, we loved the added extras. The staff were lovely and helpful and the tea rooms itself has a great shabby chic vibe. We have been several times here and its always very good. We Usually have a chicken pesto salad. The coffee is always nice and hot. The best bit is the cakes,-it is actually my favourite place for cake! They are usually loaf cakes which vary in flavours. Ive had ginger, chocolate orange, carrot, guiness, chocolate and raspberry, hummingbird. What I Love about them is they arnt over the top full of sweet buttercream and fancy sweet decorations. They are nicely done and very tasty. The decor and cups and saucers etc are really lovely and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Stickyweeds is always a safe stopping place, anytime of year for meeting friends. Some comfy sofa type seats inside and a small rear patio for warmer opportunities. Lovely menu and nice side touch of home made flapjack squares that come with hot drinks. Staff pleasant and young Lydia (if she’s still there?) is a superb all rounder. Only disadvantage is the large ‘creepy crawly’ poster on the front lounge walk, which is most off putting when trying to enjoy food! Why have it there?

My children and I found Stickyweeds to be an absolutely wonderful little shop when we visited a few weeks ago. Our first impressions of the shop upon entering were very positive. It was a gorgeous, cosy looking place. The tables were clean and augured well for the rest of our visit. We ordered some drinks and cakes, and it’s fair to say we were not disappointed with what we received. Mine was a lovely hot latte, just the right strength. It was perfect. My children, bless them, commented how lovely their “super duper amazing hot chocolate” was. They loved it! The cakes were absolutely spectacular. My lemon drizzle was absolutely divine, and my children said their gigantic slices of chocolate cake were better than the ones I make! They were homemade too, so do please pass on my congratulations to the mastermind behind them. The staff were so lovely and made us feel very welcome. We shall almost certainly be back to sample the lunch menu. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

This was our first visit to stickyweeds. We would have liked afternoon tea but, as with a lot of places, you have to give 24 hours notice. We had the chicken caesar salad with crispy bacon and chunky croutons, served with flat bread. The dish was well presented if a little on the small side, but very tasty. My daughter had the tuna and onion roll which was also tasty. The place is nicely set out and much bigger than it looks from the outside. We were served quickly, the staff are polite and friendly. Would definatly call again.

We have visited Sticky Weeds many times and always loved it. However, we have called in twice in the last few weeks and its just not the same. Just little things like the menu is cut out bits from the previous menu (is it too difficult to re-print the new menu on brown paper and slot into the ring binder?), the piece of flapjack you're given with your coffee is so tiny that it would be better not to bother, the food - average, the bicycle in the window still laden with pumpkins at the end of November, the fact that on both occasions, we were the only people in there. It appears that ownership has changed - if so, I'm not sure why the winning formula has been changed too. I used to love this place but doubt I'll be going again.

What a delightful find lovely relaxing interior with a small rear yard set out with small tables for a summer's snack. We ordered a late breakfast, the tea for one came in a gorgeous teapot, and matching cup & saucer, plus a hot water pot, which I sadly find scarce in cafe's these days - a lovely touch. The food was delicious, bacon sandwich and toasted fruit teacake loaded with fruit, the bacon was well cooked and tempting, I was slightly upset I hadn't ordered it - next time! The waitress was welcoming and friendly, and efficient. Although late Monday morning the cafe quite busy with a more than a few tables full, making the atmosphere pleasant. A definite return visit with reasonable prices, clean and just lovely.

The interior is thoughtfully laid out with books and magazines on display and a few items for sale. There is a comfortable lounge at the front with a more traditional cafe area further back and a small patio with neat little bistro-style tables and chairs through a side door. A small car park is in front with a few more spaces at the rear. A pot of tea came in a pretty china teapot with matching cup etc. and a pot of hot water. Our choices from the extensive menu didn't really test the skill of the cook but my bacon sandwich consisted of top-notch bacon on an excellent teacake. Prices are reasonable and service was prompt and came with a genuine smile.

Good variety, some different than other establishments so a good place to try something different., Good range of drinks, I do like the coffee and it is always hot. The peppermint tea is served in a teapot so lots of it to drink. And the CAKES, what can I say except SUPER!. Good friendly service. Very disappointing coffee. Even with an extra shot of coffee, the coffee is not as strong as other standard coffee in other high street chains. I've been 3 times as a take out and the cups and bags are wholly unsuitable for transporting the coffee without accident. On a positive note, the cakes are stunning. And the carry out boxes are excellent.

Fabulous service. Very Clean. Excellent cakes. Gluten free, vegetarian and Soya milk options, which is great. I'm sure the staff would do anything they can if you ask. Disabled access. Ramp at front and rear. There is car parking at front and rear but the parking at the rear is fairly tight, so if the front area is too busy, it's easier to park on the road (as long as not blocking anyone!) They have gifts and cards to buy and also have magazines and newspapers to read.Young children are also catered for as there are things to play with on a shelf at the front of the cafe. It doesn't appear that big from the outside, but you will be surprised when you go in!It always seems to be busy, which in my eyes is a very good thing! On my last visit I had a winter salad, which included brie, bacon and warm white pitta bread among the salad leaves. It makes my mouth water thinking about it! When I was growing up in New Langton this was the site of the local Post Office, but about 6 years ago it opened as a café/restaurant. It doesn't look particularly large when looking through the front window but it opens up at the back to a large space with several tables. Decor is very much the traditional tea-room, but nicely done. The front-room is more informal with arm chairs and a kids' play area.We made three visits, twice for afternoon teas/coffees and once for lunch. Service was excellent, really friendly and helpful. And the food was great too, with a varied selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads, cakes, scones etc. There's a small outdoor patio area (although we didn't get a chance to use it as the weather was uncooperative).

Not gonna lie, it's not cheap here. But the menu is on the window, you know what to expect if you visit here price wise. My meal was £16.65 for a breakfast and a cup of tea. It was a large full English though, and the tea came in a pot, so it was enough for 2 cups. The quality of the food was exceptional. My only slight niggle was the beans were runny, not thick (you know when you always try to buy Heinz or Branston rather than own brand beans from the supermarket, you can tell the difference). But the sausages, black pudding, eggs, mushrooms were all high quality and cooked very well. Service was great, prompt and attentive and the food was cooked and served quickly. I was an early bird and first in at 0945 but by 10am it was already busy and to guarantee a table you should book in advance. Definitely would recommend trying here. If I was rich, I'd have breakfast here everyday.
