We loved the food, the drinks, the vibe, and the staff.

This place offers a fantastic variety of dishes. I particularly enjoyed the maki rolls and the crab balls – both were delicious! The service was incredibly attentive. They were always checking in, keeping our table clean, and our food arrived very quickly. However, there were a couple of downsides. It got quite loud at times, and the lighting dimmed a bit, making it a bit difficult to linger for a longer visit.

Celebrated my eldest daughter's 30th birthday here. Restaurant was recommended by my younger daughter and her suggestion didn't disappoint! Fantastic food, fantastic service and relaxing atmosphere.

Pleasant experience with a fusion restaurant. The menu is easy to read with aesthetic photographs. Highly recommend the matcha.

The food was excellent and was as good as it looked in the menu. The service did let us down a bit. Even though it was not very busy when I went, it was still slow.

This spot gives extraordinary service and yummy sushi. One of my favourite restaurants around. the rates were reasonable. Highly recommended!

Food is very good but too pricey.

Our waitress Panajota was super efficient, and attentive. She noticed we left some food on the plate (a ver fatty piece of meat, it was really not pleasant to eat) and someone came to apologise and offer an alternative, we did not take it as we’re already full but was nice to have some one coming over to check with us why we returned food, etc. We had reservation but had to wait at the door to be seated as many walk ins were coming, nothing major but we thought the hosting could be a bit faster. The tuna tartare was very bland and needed lots of season as well as one of the salmon dishes we had.

Very good food, really can't fault it. Only complaint is that it is expensive. I can't imagine I'd be back very soon knowing what it costs.

Food was very nice, service slow, ambience of the restaurant was like a canteen, especially when seated towards the rear of the restaurant near the bar with the smallest possible table!

Top notch experience! Visited again after 5 years. Outstanding food , great selection of drinks including wine wines 🍷, speedy service! Sesame black custard is a must try 👌🤤.

Amazing sushi, great service but very expensive. I highly recommend the old fashioned cocktail. Our waitress was very accommodating and discreet with my allergy which I appreciated. We got a table near the back door which meant a constant flow of cold air, but other than that a lovely night with incredible food.

The food was of a very high standard, and the cocktails were lovely but also creative. I thought the staff were very polite and the food came quickly! A very good place for sushi in covent garden.

Gorgeous restaurant with amazing food and drink. We had the best meal here and our kids (age 8 & 10) wanted to go back the next week. The food is amazing and although it's a busy central London restaurant the large well spaced tables, abundance of servers, high ceilings and luxury atmosphere meant that we had a really fun, relaxed family meal. This is no mean feat as our youngest often feels overwhelmed eating out and can be quite a fussy eater. But the yummy kids cocktails, chocolate fish, friendly server and general atmosphere put her at ease. The fast service also helped to make it a stress free (pre theatre) meal for us all. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's not just a family restaurant though. I can easily see me going back with friends or my partner.

I’m not familiar with Japanese food but when I tried it here I liked it Specially there are a lot meals beside sushi Staff is so friendly and helpful

Confusing with two entrances and difficult to navigate through a packed restaurant without hitting other dinners. I'd say the menu is too long and difficult to navigate. Food was good but not outstanding. One of our servers was really warm and engaged well with us but felt a bit forgotten by our main server and was difficult to always get attention for more drinks.

Quite ok, but not a place we will return to. The food was nothing to brag about, there is much better sushi elsewhere. Waiters were way too busy. High noise level not a cozy place. Recommend finding another place if you want GOOD sushi

Such an amazing lunch. Staff on arrival and throughout were so helpful and friendly. Food was lovely and fresh.

Big and dark place, looks slightly different than in the photos. It’s a regular sushi franchise. Nice menu with a wide variety to choose from and the service at good quality. They can get lost due to the large restaurant size, but everything is pretty organized and communicated.

Delicious food (Perfect Day is a must), cool atmosphere.

Food was exquisite but just didn't get much for the price. We've been to other sushi places and got 3 courses and drinks for the same price as a small sharing platter for 2 here (just over £100) Again though, the quality was unmatched, so I do get it. Beautiful, quirky restaurant, authentic etiquette and polite knowledgeable staff. Very clean!

Amazing food and service. Everyone form start to beginning was extremely kind and accommodating. However, the highlight is food!

A menu filled with so many tasty dishes it’s hard to decide what you won’t eat. We just wanted it all. From ceviche and sashimi to the sushi and grilled and fried… black cod essential of course but loved the cauliflower and broccoli dishes just as much. Enjoyed the Japanese twist on the cocktails too. Great and attentive service, it was a busy Saturday lunchtime but we didn’t feel rushed at all. Loved the decor and the downstairs bar looked like it had a good vibe… only frustration is why they make it so hard to know which toilet door to choose! I’m sure an unfortunate lady walked into the gents and got more than she bargained for.

Japanese creative cuisine tastes good, but the price is not cheap and the space is not large.

Ate early at the restaurant after a day shopping and a few drinks. We had prebooked and arrived to the very busy restaurant at 6.30. We had to queue for a few minutes but were seated promptly. The restaurant is large with seating upstairs and downstairs. In my opinion upstairs is far nicer. We had a bottle of wine, roasted cauliflower, broccoli, prawns and a selection of sushi. All the food we chose was delicious. The cauliflower is wonderful. This is a busy, buzzy restaurant a stones throw from the iconic Covent Garden. Very friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommended. Well worth going out of your way for.

Visitied this branch many times. Amazing food as usual, portion size are good. Lucy our waiter was brilliant, cheerful and attentive.

My husband and I are great lovers a sushi and this was a treat for my birthday. The food was amazing very tasty, well presented and a great experience all round. Service from the waiting staff was very professional speedy and courteous. Overall, this is a great experience, and we look forward to coming back.

Fantastic food, in a great environment, delivered by excellent waiters. Had a first experience eating-in at Sticks'nSushi and have been positively surprised by the quality of food, drinks and service. Lucy H. was incredibly attentive to our food - delivered each part of the order in a timely manner, just as we finished eating previous meal, topped-up the drinks as they were finishing and blessed-us with her lovely smile. Definitely coming back again. Highly recommend!

Having enjoyed previous visits, unfortunately this one wasn’t nearly as good for disappointing service reasons. While our main Waitress was very good & helpful, courses were served before previous ones were finished - bad news! There simply wasn’t space on the table anyhow!! Overall, particularly for an expensive meal, the service was rushed through which spoilt the experience.

It was amazing! Service not so good! I feel like the young serving staff felt they were too good for us and didn’t want to be there. But food was good.!

I’ve booked on OpenTable app a table for 2 and once there they gave us a really small bar table in the bar area We asked for a table in the restaurant, that’s why we booked but they said that via OpenTable they can assign any sit as they like and that was no other option for us So we just decided to leave I went there a few times, the food is nice, it’s overcrowded and there isn’t much space My advice is if you don’t book on their website don’t bother going there Anyway bad experience for us

I usually go to the Soho venue, but last night, the Covent Garden one was more convenient. Since we have never been before, we wanted to give it a try. While the food was equally good, the service was way too slow (which prevented us from ordering more), and the ambience downstairs felt more like an afterthought. It was a solid choice for the night, but Soho will stay my venue of choice.

Also for takeaway, well packaged.

One of our favorite branch to dine in. Staff are accommodating and polite. The service is fast and efficient. Ambience is cool as well.

Yes he eats well, little what to say. Special and traditional dishes of Japanese cuisine. Obviously you pay a little more than a good Japanese restaurant in my area but it's OK. Good meal with two glasses and water for around 80 euros each.

Highly recommended. Quality food prepared with true skill. A restaurant suitable for celiacs. Gluten free menu and qualified and attentive staff. Compliments!

Usually a good experience but service was a bit all over the place!

This is always a good choice to go to when in London. Various locations. Great food, good staff, lively vibe. I would ask a table in the restaurant, but in the basement is also nice, closer to the kitchen :-) No complaints.

When entering the restaurant the staff and service wasn’t the best and was shown disrespect at the beginning. The food was amazing with a huge variety of foods to pick, from sushi eaters to non sushi eaters. The atmosphere is a very nice but a bit dim and dark for some people they prefer that but for me not so much. The food came very quick and was up to my standards.

Absolutely amazing meal. The sushi was incredible as was all the food. We had a sharing platter of sticks and sushi and there was lots of food! Price was very good for the standard of food. Service was great.

The meats were surprisingly really good. As well as the maki rolls, the food was easily give this restaurant 5 stars. However the service was slightly disrespectful, and the setting was a little nauseating. However the waiter serving us was extremely kind and welcoming. I’d give it 5 stars if the service was consistent with all staff.

Would have left zero stars, if it was possible. We came without a reservation and the lady at reception (who then said she is the highest possible manager or person to talk to) said that they sit people based on reservations only. Without even attempting to check if there is a cancellation, etc. Two tables left during those 3 minutes when the lady simply kept repeating the same sentence like a parrot. The attitude, no attempt to find a solution and inability to get off the script she had learnt left us speechless (there was a 4 year old with us, btw). Anyway, no intention to come back.

This is a lovely restaurant with great food, but it's pricey. The food on the menu all looks wonderful, and what we ordered was yummy. We have a lovely waitress looking after us, but the one who showed us to our table was a little grumpy. Overall nice experience and look forward to visiting again.

"Quite pricey for what it was and one of our dishes was not cooked properly - very hard rice and an unpleasant aftertaste. Rest of meal ok but for £200 you can eat in a lot of places around there. Also drinks arrived after food which is always annoying. Slightly disappointing. Our local Kibou in Battersea is better value and quality."

bottled beer was warm white wine wasn’t chilled ( ended up ordering ice for the beer and wine) Poor service, slow with ordering and had to remind several times to get our drinks that we had ordered. Hot/warm food was not warm.

We visited during the festive Christmas period. The place was packed and pretty loud. Tables are very close to each other and you can barely walk in between them. Food was actually not bad! We ordered a set menu with their selection of raw fish, some rolls, skewers and some nigiris. Service was pretty average to be honest. Most likely would visit again to give it another try.

Terrific service, very good Sashimi. I've eaten at plenty of Sushi restaurants from Vancouver to London and Sticks 'n' Sushi is top notch.

Sushi is good. Other grilled dishes in general are too salty.

Fabulous food, as always. However, the service was slow and inattentive. They were busy, but there were staff members that were walking around doing nothing while we were waiting to be seated, then waiting to order... also, one waitress told us the kitchen had closed and couldn't order dessert. We paid and were about to leave when another waitress offered dessert. Turns out the kitchen wasn't closed! I'm a regular customer in the Canary Wharf restaurant, and will certainly be going back. However, I doubt I'll go back to the Covent Garden one.

Even though I said I had a back problem, we were made to sit at the bar. Your customer satisfaction score is zero.

Best sushi I’ve ever had in London, even though the restaurant was crowded, the service was quick!

My partner and I came here for dinner this evening and got the 'perfect day' platter. The food was excellent quality and you get a large variety of different things included which we liked. Service was excellent and we were attended to with no issues. However, my partner and I believe it's a little over priced for a chain sushi restaurant. My partner and I have been to other sushi restaurants and paid similar prices to sticks n sushi and had better, and it was a little overcrowded and noisy.

First time at sticks and sushi and will be my last. Food is awful, made me feel so sick on my way home. Cheap food and Overly priced. Avoid at all cost.

After a terrible experience at Eat Tokyo, my partner and I wondered around looking for somewhere that served “good food”, we found Sticks’n’Sushi

I literally hate broccoli so much it tastes disgusting to me, but the "Broccoli" dish and the "Green Tartare" (which both predominantly consist of broccoli) were so tasty I actually can't believe I'm enjoying this so much. The prices are high here but it's so worth it for health and it's so rare to find a restaurant in London without tonnes of additives in the food. Both of these dishes have great sauces and neither contain sulphites. I'll probably come back here every week for lunch now that I've discovered these

Unbedingt einen Besuch Wert!! Qualität und Geschmack waren 1a und jeder! Mitarbeiter freundlich. Die Menüs sind ideal wenn mehr aus der Karte probieren möchte. Wir hatten uns für 'Perfect Day' entschieden (konnten problemlos das eine Sushi von Shrimp zu Hähnchen tauschen) und die Menge war für 2 Personen perfekt. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder hingehen und bedanken uns für den schönen Abend!!

Overpriced for what’s become and average chain that’s verging on tired. After trying to seat up by the constantly open front door (we booked weeks in advance) the host was no friendly when we asked to move. Sushi was ok, but distantly average at top tier prices

DELICIOUS. Everything was extremely good! Our waiter had curly dark hair, from the Philippines and Spain and he has very good even though he was new! The salmon sticks and the miso soup were especially good!

Went with no booking and were still seated at the bar, the staff were really friendly and the food is as good as always. They were able to advise easily despite having a new cocktail menu that day. The hibiscus margarita was devine.

I do not recommend this restaurant, as there are many other great quality options available at even better prices elsewhere. The food used to be much better before! I won’t be returning to Sticks and Sushi. The service is terrible. It took them 45 minutes to bring our drinks. We had to send back the food multiple times because we were thirsty and needed to have something to drink before eating.
