It was very quite when we visited on a mid week afternoon. I would expect this place to be more suited to a younger customer than us but the barman was helpful and the beer ok even if it was a little more pricy than other pubs in the area.

Very tasty bao, some of the best I've had. Nice, large beer garden at the front. Was disappointed there wasn't a no/low alcohol option from the brewery, feels like they are missing a trick. Maybe it is available at other times but having just one (mass-produced) non-alcoholic option (and that only in a bottle) didn't cut it for me.

The bar tender who served me was arrogant and unprofessional. The glasses our drinks were poured into was smeared and dirty, the glasses hung up above the bar also looked smeared. Our table hadn’t been cleaned!

Relaxing outdoor eating on a hot evening. Dog friendly, cold water supplied in a bowl without needing to ask. Food available later on a Sunday evening than some of the other nearby restaurants. Would recommend and would go again.

I visited here while away for the night in Sheffield. I called in for pint and some fries at the start of the evening and after trying out several other establishments in the area I returned for several more drinks at the end of the night to round things off perfectly. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, the fries lovely and the drinks from the beer to cocktails on tap were very nice and reasonably priced. I mustn't forget the beer garden at the front which is really nice and pleasant place to while away the night with a few drinks. The only downside was that this wasn't able to be used after 10pm, but that was through no fault of the establishment.

Faulty outside bench with two missing feet collapsed backwards when we sat on it. We nearly ended up on the floor, and drinks spilt down our clothes. Reported to staff, who gave us some kitchen roll and asked us to mop up the bench!!! Could have been a much worse situation, with glasses and hard surfaces. No apologies received from any of the staff.

We tried this place on Boxing Day and very much enjoyed the choice of beers, the atmosphere and the small but excellent choice of Bao buns (including veggie options)

Wow !! This place is huge !! I came here just before opening and was amazed at the size of this venue... Huge amount of indoor and outside seating with multitudes of screens showing the latest sports depending on your taste in sports they can show multiple different events at the same time (just ask at the bar and tell them where your sitting) Tastefully decorated with comfy seating and exceptionally clean throughout with no attention to detail missed. 3 pool tables and the biggest outdoor screen I've ever seen at a pub.. outside bar is open during the summer and sporting events. Beers from £2.95 and spirits from £1.99 5 minute walk from the university campas this is the ideal meet and greet hub. Champs is a stunning venue serving food from 12 midday till 9 Friendly staff and comfy surroundings, a real treat on them hot summer days to come. 😎

Went to the cafe in Meadowhall this morning, the bacon sandwich took a while and as my coffee had nearly all gone, I was offered a free one by Tracey the manager, I had not complained or said a word about how long I had waited, great customer service well done 😊

Went here to celebrate my wife’s grandads birthday and I must say I was rather impressed. Decent food and good service. We sat in the big window overlooking the cricket field in the pub side which was nice. My only critique is the portion sizes are on the small side, Sunday lunch plate was dominated by a huge Yorkshire pudding and everything else was a bit thin on the ground, wouldn’t put me off going again though as the quality was very good, they also have green mountain on draft which was a massive plus.

I wanted to like this new branch, but I have some concerns. My sandwich was very dry, although the contents were good. Not worth the money for me. Coffee was nice, but not excellent. The seating was a bit awkward, I think the space constraints are to blame.
