Myself and other half come here most Wednesday evenings. Staff are really friendly and clearly good at what they do and can safely say we've never had a poor experience unlike other Starbucks near by.

At this coffee shop, beware the parking plight, Stay too long, and you'll get quite a fright. A hundred quid for a cup, oh what a twist, And the staff won't help, they just persist! The coffee's just okay, nothing to boast, But the parking fines, they'll hurt you the most. You sip and you chat, thinking all is well, But your wallet will suffer, as stories will tell. So if you visit, keep an eye on the clock, Or you'll be in for a financial shock. A bog-standard brew, with a hefty fee, This coffee shop's a trap, as you can see!

I never got my delivery but it says it has been delivered ?

I am very unhappy with my coffee order. I asked for cream cold foam and this was not completed. The fact I’m paying £6 for a coffee I would expect the order to be completed and not half done.

Always the slowest Drive Thru. It's not as thought the sit in is even busy. Poor poor poor.

Waiting more than 20 minutes for one coffee even though it was quite. Mixed my order twice, forgot about food and at the end when I drove away I noticed that my coffee order was wrong again

A pretty dingy store Staff pleasant enough Coffee bland…..so-called medium about half a pint……can’t imagine how big a large one would be. But….real issue was filthy lavatory

Been a few times, in the passing- the whole area is busier- new eateries, parking the same- now pop in your reg for parking- last time, got my fet ran over by a woman( I think) in a wheelchair- my fault!!( Work that out) This time, half a dozen people in, still waited 15 mins on my missing order-when people apologize ( just a small thing) don't do it when you're walking in the other direction- not the same, and the generosity of making it a large( it was a large anyway) anyone want my loaded gift card- think I'm done😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Staff will make you the complete wrong drink and insist it’s what you ordered in the rudest manner imaginable, avoid unless you’re ordering via the app

The staff at heartlands always go the extra mile. They’re all so friendly and always make conversation with the customers. Coffees taste amazing and the food is good too. Recommend highly to anyone passing by the store!

The store manager, Nicola, has the worst and most unprofessional attitude I have ever experienced. I am not sure if she suffers from a mental illness that makes her think that her attitude is appropriate, but the amount of disrespect that Nicola shows to not only customers but her staff as well is appalling. Do better.

Do not go here. They give you parking tickets even if you are a customer and now I can't get hold of anyone at Starbucks to talk to about this. I now have a company chasing me for payment and can't get hold of Starbucks. Avoid.

I regularly visit this heartlands store and Starbucks coffee is great. The problem is some of the staff are so rude. There are 2 girls that are really nice when they get the order wrong and fix and apologies, no big deal. However, most of the time your order will be wrong and YOU are the problem when you ask them to rectify. They use to say I never asked for what my order is (same coffee every time) so i started using the app and pre-ordering missing out the speaker at the drive through thinking that might be where the ordering goes wrong. Ive been back today with my wrong order twice and I cant deal with the attitude of the staff. I explained to the staff that these are such luxury treats as they are expensive. They just don't care. I give up trying now. I wont be back to this store.

Never going here again. I received a parking fine from one of those really unethical private parking companies for over staying my welcome by a few minutes. My over stay was due to needing the bathroom because of IBS symptoms caused probably by my coffee being cross contaminated with dairy products. I have previously used Starbucks several times a week due to driving a lot for work. I asked Starbucks to intervene, but so far there has been no response from them. I will never go to another Starbucks ever again after this.

Sadly terrible experience. I ordered a chai latte, which tasted like dirty dish water. I then informed the lady behind the counter that the chai didn't have much of a chai taste and she just added more syrup to the same cup.I was very disappointed! These drinks are a treat and expensive, so I would love it to be nice.

3 of us got a parking ticket after arranging a meeting at this Starbucks. Contacted the restaurant 3 times still no response or support. Now getting threatening letters about £100 fine.

tracking not working. driver stuck at starbucks for half an hour, moved a bit and stuck again. coffee was OK, and not sure why delivery from Whitburn if Bathgate is just behind the corner.

Delivery was fine but my order was wrong orderd no Coffee but it still came with coffee With allergies this wasn’t drinkable for me

Everything delivered within the half hour promised - coffee still nice and hot. Perfect!

Poped in for a coffee during lunch break and got served by brooke, amazing service from the girl and i felt welcomed and i loved the coffee, highly recommend although bathrooms are a little dirty:)

The staff at heartlands are great, I’ve never had a bad experience. They always ensure they go the extra mile to deliver great customer service. They make the best drinks compared to other local Starbucks shops. Such a lovely bunch of staff. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I was in this morning 17 June about 10am. I purchased a latte and was served by a lovey girl who was very polite and asked about my plans for the day. I sat a few minutes when 4 people were being very smart at the till and it turned in to verbal abuse of the girl who served me and another staff member. To the point of mimicking and laughing at the staff and egging each other on to do so. The staff remained polite throughout but I could see they were upset and rightly so.These 4 were old enough to be the girls parents! What is it with some people thinking that if you are behind a counter they have the right to abuse staff. Latte was perfect and the shop is comfortable and bright.I definitely will be back when passing through ☕️

Always fabulous service. Today I arrived looking for a strawberry refresher unfortunately now açai left. However, without any hesitation, Ellie my barista offered an alternative which was fabulous and definitely a new favourite. It’s so lovely when staff are friendly and helpful, makes a difference. Left feeling no disappointment at all and excited to try a new drink. After a long day of teaching and very warm weather it’s always nice to have a good experience on route home. I wanted to recognise Ellie’s service. Thank you!

A good Starbucks very clean and very relaxing. My only criticism would be there was only one high chair in the shop, which we used for our young one sadly there was another family who didn’t have one other than that a good place to stop off on the m8

I wish we hadn't settled on Starbucks today. Arrived to find no lights in any food fridges, so you couldn't see what was what. Told cashier, ignored me. She constantly said 'yes please?' even though we were still deciding. Person I was with got told off for asking for full fat milk in their drink. The serviette/sugar area was filthy. Every single table had dirty pots on them. Throughout the visit there was a loud, high-pitched, continual sound coming from one of their machines so we couldn't hear each other speaking. Hot chocolate was like just water and milk. Overall very unpleasant experience. Wish I'd spent my £18 elsewhere. Won't be going back.

Genuinely don’t understand the experience the other people in these reviews had. My friend and I were met with the most lovely staff member I’ve ever met this evening! (I unfortunately never caught her name but she was working around 5pm on 16/1/23, had blonde hair in a ponytail and a fringe.) She was so friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. She asked us about our preferences in coffee (if we preferred sweeter or more bitter coffees) and advised us against certain items on the menu we were initially intrigued by due to our preferences of sweeter coffee even though these other items were more expensive! She instead convinced us to try something other than our usual order and we ended up loving it because she took our preferences into consideration when giving us recommendations. Lovely woman with the most impeccable service. I don’t normally leave reviews but this was just a 10/10 experience.

We use this Starbucks regularly and we will keep doing so. Quite often it’s busy and there’s a queue, which the staff work hard to maintain and they are always friendly and helpful. I was served by Lori today who was a ray of sunshine. It made me think how easy it is for people to use reviews to complain, but we rarely say thank you or express appreciation when we get really good service. I couldn’t deal with customers all day and still be chirpy, so hats off to you all!

A great place staff friendly. No problems getting what I want.

Wonderful customer service, particularly from a petite blonde boy. While I was enjoying my coffee an aggressive man came in and barged some blockades out of the way to sit in an area that was in the middle of being cleaned. The staff seemed to have politely directed him to other available seating to which he responded aggressively. He was shouting at staff asking who the manager was with a clenched fist. Claimed he will be writing to head office due to racism? There was no racism involved however. Can’t recommend this place enough, homely atmosphere and staff are always willing to have a chat when they’ve got time. Really helps with my loneliness.

As a regular customer visiting numerous times each week I am so grateful for such friendly staff, always chatty and welcoming. Always polite and courteous. They certainly do not deserve to be mistreated by those 'customers' who have rude, inexcusable disgusting behaviours with no thought as to what they are saying. Shame on the so called customer who was so rude this evening! Please don't let this person dishearten the staff, we do appreciate what you do.

I used the drive thru but the service was quick and the coffee was nice. An eggnog latte.... need I say more.

Bit slow in waiting for drinks as only one member of staff seeming to cover everything, such as till, making the drinks, clearing the tables etc. Prices on par with Costa. Seemed to have a lot people coming in just to use the disabled toilet

I didn't know whether to stop at this Starbucks or not after all the bad reviews, but I'm glad I did. It's bright and clean. The staff are friendly and I will probably make it a regular stop. One of the better Starbucks in my opinion.

Pumpkin spice latte doesn’t taste like pumpkin spice and hot chocolate supposed to be sweet and chocolate but it’s like water with one scoop of nesquick 🤷‍♀️ Im disappointed 😔

Popped in for pre theatre drink. Had very thorough customer service from staff who were careful to ensure there was no risk of contamination from gluten in our order. Referring to allergen list and product packaging. Crucial in our case as any risk is dangerous. Thank you

I bought a regular decaff soya latte and it was stone cold. I should have gone to Costa but the queue was too long. Now I know why. I had a delightfully hot cup of coffee there last week. I couldn't be bothered to complain in Starbucks as I was in quite a rush.

Dont go there we've been shunted into a space after going through drive through they were too busy serving outdoor customers even though this is supposed to be drive through service terrible

Called for coffee as cafe in winter gardens closed no restrictions or cleanliness adhered to three tables empty outside but all has full ashtrays on and empty cups waited for someone to come and clean no one came so cleaned ourselves lad took mask off and sat on green grass to have his vapour and phone call not good example at all some people came and sat at dirty tables with empty cups on did not think this good at all they need to get act together

Visiting the Crucible for the Snooker last week, the Starbucks on Fargate became my morning ritual of a Cafe Latte and Gluten Free Pannni enroute to the days play. Friendly helpful service serving fresh coffee and good pannins. Only gripe is the smokers in the outside seating area who are the bane of modern life. They really need to make this seating area smoke free as its a food & drink area!

Staff polite - but didn't tell us they were closing in 3 mins! Coffee not good. All cream on hot chocolate ended up on the lid of the cup. Restaurant dirty and uncomfortable.

Fast, efficient, reliable service. Dairy alternative-had the oat milk latte. Creamy & delicious. Great on the move on a cold day.

The ØStarbucks have obviously decided the place needed face lift. I think they got it wrong. Last time i visited, place was furnished with armchairs, sofas Coffee tabels and such, really, p whome like atmosphere. Place too chill out over a cup or two with brownie on side. Now its full of clinically functional table and chairs, just three to a table. Boring, lacking character and immagination. So why four stsrs? Looking on here other people have raised this, the place is totally filthy. Ended up leaving drink just in case caught something as if the seating area is so dirty makes you think what the rest of the cleaning standards are like. Verynpoor6

This is the most rundown Starbucks I’ve seen. Needs a total refit seats , toilet , tables , flooring & walls are filthy on the whole depressing no wonder Pret next door is booming I’m sure I’m not the only one who won’t be going back. The photos are not the fargate branch.

After taking the order the staff at the machine discussed loudly their opinion of my blue hair which from their comments wasn’t to their taste. Won’t be returning to this branch.

Visited many Starbucks but this one was very dowdy. Floor was messy, staff were disinterested. Coffee was good and hot. Disliked the cups as couldn't get finger through the tiny handle without burning it.

Faulty towers is better. Place needs money spent on it. Staff looked miserable won't go back sorry not what I expect from a chain they all should be of a standard. This one isn't.

The photo shown above is not the Fargate branch. The Fargate Starbucks must be the most scruffy cafe in Sheffield. Worn out furniture, food remains on the floor, little seating. Try Cafe Nero over the road - a much more pleasant environment.

Unfortunately this place is opposite cafe nero and though the coffee is a £1 cheaper this is reflected in the coffee, the staff and the surroundings while you're having your daily pilgrimage. They simply cannot compete on the high street anymore, they are the poundland...

Every morning I call to this Starbucks for a Caramel Mac. The staff are always lovely and friendly and make a good coffee. This particular Starbucks is a little tired and worn, but first thing in a morning it's empty so doesn't look so bad....

Typical Starbucks experience, in a well converted and preserved old building, just round the corner from the Crucible. Seating inside and out. Opted for a Caramel Macchiato. As expected, and served by a friendly barista.
